With that performance right there.. Darci slammed the door on all the rest ! To be able to do all that ..switch voices with different pitch between to puppets and do it flawlessly is very very hard to do . Darci nailed it . I watched the whole show when it aired and in my mind only 3 acts showed up , Darci Lynne , Angelica Hale , Light Balance . When you get to the championship of any sport ..you "Have" to step up and bring your "AAA" game . AAs i said only 3 did . The rest didn't . When the final results came . I was pretty right on with my top 4 prediction . Darci #1 ...Angelica #2 , light Balance #3 , Mandy #4 ,

Joy James , I said right from the beginning that it would come down to these 2 girls ... seeded #'s 1 & 2 . In any other year any one of the others had a chance , but they all just ran into a 12 year old buzz saw , by the name of Darci Lynne Farmer . I'll even go as far as to say.. if any of this years contestants had been in last years show . Grace wouldn't have won

I think the reason Darci Lynne won was because she "upped her game" with each round of the competition. Petunia was best for the audition-& maybe for the whole competition. Oscar was a bit of a risk, but having him sing with Petunia in the final made Darci Lynne a formidable finalist. (Edna's flirting with Simon ensured he wouldn't be able to give Darci Lynne any of the dreaded "constructive criticism" that even some successful contestants get at that stage.)

The reason is that she kept bringing the subject up over and over again , yes what happened was sad . but after a while it does turn people off . and it did .
