When the Partridge Family debuted in 70. I was 15 and remember the family watching them on our black and white TV. Danny Bonaduce is a much loved and respected DJ/talk show host in Seattle. We treasure his wit and wisdom.
I just love that scene when Mr. Kincaidi said, "Alright Shirley. Alright, Shirley. What was so important that it couldn't have waited until later?" Mr. Kincaidi opens the door and the entire family was wearing chicken suits.
i grew up watching all the 1970's shows and to see all my childhood stars dying really makes me sad these stars helped our childhood be little more special i miss the 1970's those years were the best years of my life
Man how we have aged!….I remember Danny Bonaduce as kid about my age…..and today..he’s looking a little fragile….looking at all these actors really brings it all home…
Well I love movies of all kinds but this jut made my heart want to ask questions way down in my soul and love it for ever and ever This one is one of my very favorites of all times
The character of Punky Brewster was Danny's friend who had a few appearances on the show. The young lady, Bonny K. was Ruben's girlfriend in a few episodes. The last fellow, who also played on WKRP in Cincinnati, must've been a one shot episode. I don't remember when he was on. Why he was included here is anybody's guess.
@@marka1422 ok that will work thanks for clarifying that. Did you know that Shirly Jones played on a movie called "Zombie Night" ? I felt bad when they had to kill her character. Maybe because she was Mrs. Partridge and I have a mom that is that old and real frail like that 😔😢. Have a great day everyone
@@davidurban6813 --No, I wasn't aware of her being in that film. I don't even recall seeing any promos for that film. I stay away from horror films. Anyway, I prefer her lighter movie roles and her mom image of Mrs. Partridge. 😄
Unfortunately, even wonderful series like this involving young children, are short-lived because, as the children grow, the producers have to keep replacing them with younger children, and finally the series loses its appeal and is cancelled.
I remember being eight or nine years old sat on the porch listening to a Partridge family record full blast on the stereo thinking I was pretty cool… Really sad about David Cassidy and what he went through really bloody sad
The music on this show was wonderful. Pop music of a high standard as it would be with the great song writers they had and the wrecking crew doing music. David sang though and he just had a smile in his voice. A talented bloke who seemed to live a complex life from what I've read. He came to Australia in the 70's and was very popular out here at the time.
Then why bother commenting? Nobody cares about your life at that time. Just like no one cares about mine. I’m not special and I’m guessing you’re not either. This is about the Partridge Family, so please, shut the hell up.
I would like to see interviews with whomever is left. It would be interesting to get their views on Hollywood and what happens there. And how Hollywood abuses child stars.
Shirley Mae Jones starred in Rodgers and Hammersteins 'Oklahoma!' (1955) and 'Carousel' (1956) and Meredith Wilson's 'The Music Man' (1962) and she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for playing a vengeful prostitute in Elmer Gantry.
D. Bonaduce owes me two large colas! He was at Cedar Point amusement park in Ohio doing a bit for a radio station in the '90s. I stood in a line 45 minutes to get two Cokes for my daughter and her friend. I had them for about 15 seconds when dillwad stormed through the crowd, ran into me knocking the drinks out of my hands, and never missed a step...just kept walking. Jerk.
@@markgothard7158 That was Weird Al's shtick..He couldn't have done their music without the singers approval. That would be stealing..So there goes your theory. Michael Jackson was and will always be King of Pop.
I remember watching this as a young child and I just loved the opening song to this show, it was so cool at the time 😊
You'd have to be heartless not to LOVE The PARTRIDGE FAMILY and the Brady Bunch. Classic 70's junk TV.
Danny Bonaduce is a great guy.
I've listened to his radio work for decades.
Shirley Jones and Susan Dey look amazing.

Praying for you Danny! ✝️🙏 you had many challenges in life including battling addiction! You got this!! ♥️💪
Loved the character Reuben Kincaid!

@@bmoshareholderappleshareho855 He set up some of the best scenes. Danny & him were quite the team😂
Wow I used to love watching the partridge family way back when tv was showing that show on tv
an innocent carefree show like this couldn’t make it these days.
The same with The Brady Bunch.
If it had some Tranny's and non-binary on it and used proper pro nouns, it would.
@@edgein3299 first this - first that.... firsts sell!
Agree, Americans are to damaged!

Nice Memorys for me. I am 62. 😊❤

Susan Dey still a good looker
Shirly you look fantastic.
Had a such a crush on Susan Dey what 13 year boy didn't?
I mean ….. Dude! … I think Susan Dey is one of the most beautiful gals to walk the planet..!!!🔥🔥🔥
I just never knew where she kept her hips & especially her boobs! Wonder if she was ever mistaken as David Cassidy!
Oh no doubt
I thought she was amazingly beautiful, (what a dish!), and I'm a gay.
I love the partridge family music David was funny on the show
Man how we have aged!….I remember Danny Bonaduce as kid about my age…..and today..he’s looking a little fragile….looking at all these actors really brings it all home…

I met her once, Shirley….so sweet.
Geez, when they died they died young by today’s standards.
Shirley Jones looks great for 88.
41st...ah who doesn't remember friday nights 1970 & 10yr old me watching - Brady Bunch & the Partridge family
Time waits for no one!
David Cassidy was a hardcore alcoholic for many years and still looked pretty good ..in my opinion.
Where did the last 3 people show up? I didn't remember them. Where's Shirly Partridge's Mom & Dad?

@@marka1422 yeah Zombie Night is pretty gory. So I understand your point. Merry Christmas everyone.
I don’t remember anyone but the main players.
Wow! Most of them have kicked the bucket. Scary.
Danny was a trip!
The really strange part is Danny Bonaduce was by far the hardest partier of the bunch and he's still alive while half the cast is already dead.
yeah he's "alive"
I think David Cassidy gave him a run in the partying department. Died of alcoholism.
6:35 Gary Dubin was not 14 years old in 1970. He was born "May 5, 1959", he was 11.
Who the fuck is Gary Dubin?
Never heard of him.
@Bacardistuff He was in Jaws 2. He played Eddie, who was eaten by the shark. He was the kid in the boat with Tina.

And now you have been cancelled.
Susan stills looks great!
😂It's sad that three are gone my They be at peace 😮
"So much wasted time" ... David Cassidy's last words

Wow, Susan Dey looks great!! She sure doesn't look 69!! Is she still acting?
Susan Dey was cute as pie but my love for her was unrequited, as I was aged 10 and lived in Australia.
gosh so many gone 😞
Born in 65, never ever seen an episode of this show. That red headed kid bothered the hell outta me.

I must admit that Susan Dey is still smokin hot.
@6:44...How could he have been 14 years old in 1970? I was 10 years old at the time (both of us born in '59), and he was a few months older.
Danny must have Keith Richards genes. he's still going.
Shirley is amazing.

7:33 WTF has this got to do with Elaine Giftos? Nobody pictured here is 79 years old!
I'm thinking this didn't work out for any of them
We all change 50yrs later.....if we're lucky. So what's the big deal ?
Wow, this video was really depressing.
I didn't recognize anybody after Laurie (Susan Dey).
Why do people insist on having musical accompaniment? Somebody somewhere told these people they needed music and I have no idea why.
Danny partridge is a boxer in a club a club fighter
