It's one thing to see something written down, it's another thing to see it lived. Jesus lived the law, filling it full of meaning and beauty. He showed us a radical new way of being human. Jesus magnified the law so we would see the impossibility of keeping it on our own and therefore extend the mercy we’ve received to others. (Matthew 5:17-48; 19:16-26)
