…I love Johnny Winters and his style too, though I must confess I’ve only recently been getting into more of his material. I’ve known about him for years of course, but am only recently this past year or so discovering more about him and his stamp on the blues genre! He was an amazing talented blues man!
I’m really liking the stuff I’ve been hearing of Johnny Winters… I know another guitarist that was friends with him that plays all over and has shared the stage with some big names and is friends with Billy Gibbons and Joe Bonamassa and many others. He’s all over RUclips as well. His name is Lance Lopez! Tremendous guitarist/vocalist in the blues/rock genre… 😎👍
The song, the tuning, and the guitar, dictate which slide I use and which finger I put it on. I love glass, but I have a guitar that prefers ceramic (1956 Gibson ES 125).
