Hubby and I were stationed at the Naval Base in Naples for 3 years. Our villa had sliding doors leading to yard. I made screens for these doors because I didn’t want anyone walking in the villa unannounced.

Ciao from Cefalu, Sicily! We are Canadians visiting for the month of November and then heading to mainland Italy-Sorrento to be exact. Last fall we travelled in our camper van from Ontario (where we spend our summers) to set up our condo in Bucerias, Mexico and back via Victoria, BC. We've been travelling full time for two years and are having the time of our lives!. Love your channel!!😀

We spend 6 weeks on average in every a country we are visiting. We avoid hotels as much as possible and try to plan for at least a week in each location/town. We have always rented houses or boats. We absolutely love traveling down the canals of Europe. We rent self-catering boats and spend at least a week on each canal. The stories I could tell! ❤️❤️❤️ So much fun! A week gives you a taste of what it’s like to live in an area. Some places we love we’ve visited more than once or twice! We have our favorites, but always want to see more! We have met so many wonderful people and have seen so many incredible places. We have truly been blessed in our travels.

We hope to do more of this in the future. It is so nice when you immerse yourself in the city you are visiting. Can you send us some an email (info@todayissomeday.net) on the canal boat rentals? That sounds so amazing. We have them on our bucket list.

Also after RV-full timing we also are doing our travels differently. There’s no wrong way!! Just gotta plan it, get out there, visit and enjoy our world! 🎉❤👏😎

It's very different whether you are in Phoenix, Bangkok, Peking or south Italy. We got a family van which can be used as a small RV. I would like to go for vacation to Rome and south of it with my family. I only made it once to the south of Italy so far.

Those three wheelers are all over Europe, not unique to Italy.
And I was about to say AC is definitely a thing in Italy. I had it in my flat in Gaeta back in the mid 80s when I was stationed there. Which brings me to another thing it’s too bad that I haven’t been seeing your channel pop up in my feed for some reason. If I knew you guys were going over there, I could’ve given you a couple photos to use as a scavenger hunt up in Gaeta. You would’ve loved it.

Great video, we have been to Italy four times in the last 3 years. Love it, going back in May for a month. Have you had any thoughts about renting a Class C or B RV over there? I see a number of RVs boon docking. Not quite the luxury of a Class A. Probably the AirBNB is a better choice.

Switches on outlets are common where voltage in 220-240. Main reason is risk of arcing. The higher voltage is a tad more dangerous than N.A. 110 V standard.
