having an interviewer who really knows the guys and the show makes all the difference. Brilliant!
I’m 22 and was born 5 years before the show ended. I found it streaming and since then has watched every episode of League, every episode of Psychoville and every episode of Inside No.9 to date. Streaming gives unprecedented opportunities for shows like League to find new audiences and I am so grateful I live in this era of entertainment
Really great interviewer! And I just love these guys so much, in character and out of character. I remember being about 14 and seeing League of Gentleman for the first time and thinking "what the FUCK is this" but then grew to actually really love and care about the characters 🤣 it was never a comedy for me, it was a soap opera I was emotionally invested in, god knows what that says about me!
Great host! Can tell she's a real fan. I wonder if she was a bit nervous interviewing such God's of comedy. I would be lol. Seems like she's enjoying it!
Good Interview and great questions from audience. It was really great to attend this !
I love the league of gentlemen, they very much an influence on my own humour
I just discovered the LOG recently and have been watching everything I can find. Saw the series on Britbox, which we subscribe to. LOG was a welcome change from the Brit detectives (Dalziel, Barnaby, Father Brown, etc.). Of course we recognized Steve from the Benidorm series. Matt as the Vet, Reese as Papa Lazarou, Steve as Tubbs and/or Pauline. I'm 74, live in upstate NY and now have a Brit accent. Cheers, Bob
Have you watched Psychoville and Inside no.9 which might be on Britbox in US? Highly recommend as Steve and Reece write and perform in these two shows too
Great interview with The League, and the host has a wicked killer laugh!!
Among other "attributes".

Mm she's gorgeous.
I live fairly close to Hadfield, aka 'Royston Vasey,' and recently went over there to see the place for myself. It's quite an easy location to miss really, but after doing circuits of Padfield and ending up back in Glossop, I eventually found the place. Anyway, at certain intervals around the town they'd have information boards the council had installed, with some of them referring to T.L.o.G. ...One in particular made me smile as it mentioned, "Jeremy Pemberton" liking the town!! I mean, the council had one job - and in a very Royston Vasian way, - it fit perfectly!
You didn't find the New Road?
This host is very lovely...
I am not a Game of Thrones fan, but I think its great how John Snow never mentions being a key member of the Fab 4. Especially as it is set in the North. 👏
Love these guys!!
A shame we never got to see the debt collectors and their boss again. That was hilarious.
I almost fell off our sofa, choking on a N/A beer and crisps! Extra funny for me as I worked for a consumer finance company in NYC when I got back from Vietnam. Had to go to very sketchy housing projects, had a gun pointed in my face, another "chap" had a large knife, etc. Almost scarier than Vietnam as I understood what they were saying. LOL
Great great interview
Anyone else think that jeremy dyson looks like bob mortimer?
Reece Shearsmith looks like he's regretting his life choices
@margostampy how?
@@Jo-pr7bg he just looks kinda grumpy lol. he often does nowdays
@@ElleW415 I don't agree. It's just a bit of shyness and social awkwardness. I've seen plenty of recent interviews where he's smiled and laughed.
@@Jo-pr7bg well yes, i had thought of that too but couldn't be sure
@@jemimajust827 Yes agree he does look very handsome! I've seen a few similar interviews and some with just him and Steve and Reece turns up in a suit quite often when Steve comes casually dressed. To be fair there's actually a lot of other footage where he doesn't look grumpy. My friend was lucky enough to go to this and she said he was really friendly at the signing she went to.
I'm surprised they didn't see many younger people at their shows. Maybe the tickets were too dear? A bunch of my high school friends and I were into them and would've definitely seen the show if we weren't in a different country.
We need the to come back so we can find out what happened to Tubbs and if Edward saves her.
I'd say it's like if Monty python did Twin peaks
Monty Python meets Wicker Man
I don't think there's much python in it at all, python didn't have many consistent characters, and wasn't anywhere near as dark :)
@@philbecker4676hence "it's like if monty python did twin peaks"
There all geniuses
*They're, you twat.
Love jeff tips hahaha
What were those audience questions
Lol they've taken the interviewers persona and used it for a character in an episode of Inside No. 9 'Thinking Out Loud'
This would have been wonderful if it wasn't for the canned laughter, I luvv Reece and Steve❤️
14:42 What's a pedderass Walter?
Pedarest I believe is the word.
'kin hell... hostess laughs like a LoG character!
I’d love to pop a comment in her box
I'm sorry, did she say " I'll be back next week, with more comedy from Sue Perkins" ?? Surely after interviewing actual funny, comedy legends. She must know how false that statement is.
Comedy, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. If you think she's not funny, she's not, if other people think she is, she is.
@@filipzawistowski4390 I disagree. The fact that everyone has an opinion does not imply they must be of equal weight. If I thought you were a comedian, would that make you one?
@@Bellesabout I apologise that you find my username 'a little bit too trying', although I have difficulty in understanding quite why that might be. I am not a comedian and I wasn't attempting to be funny when I chose it - it's just an alternative spelling of what it actually is. I hope you don't lose too much sleep over it.
@@Bellesabout No worries. I hope you have a good day.
@@nomdaploom I think if you think people are funny then they're funny. Someone is only a comedian if they get paid to make people laugh.
Why do you guys think she is a fan? Her reactions seem fake to me, or at least rather shallow
Could'nt watch it...that woman's laugh is so freaking annoying...😡
Oh well.
Yeah but your face is awful
She's an awful interviewer. 😡
Actually she is pretty good and got some good answers
