Hi all, just letting you know that since posting this video we’ve decided to disassemble this miniature installation. The intent was always joy for the neighbourhood but we’ve heard some concern about if this would be safe in the long-run. Out of an abundance of caution it has been removed. Thanks for joining me on this miniature journey.
@murraylancaster3745 ah- I don't see that being an issue. How much mass do you think each of those miniature pieces have? If the piece of acrylic is a concern, I think they could replace with a thin film sheet instead!

The Phoenix art gallery has an exhibit of small miniature rooms on display and it would be so cool to be able to ~peep~ random ones out in the wild haha
I admit, I'm afraid to see what the future holds but we do have the Canadian thing on our side so hopefully no vandalism ensues. I'm sure anyone who goes to the trouble to donate their time and talents to a public project like this has already made peace with whatever fate it might meet with. Great job nonetheless! 👍🙂💖
Kelsey: “I’m sorry, are you blessed with beautiful miniature art on your daily basis?” Well, yeah… Where I live (Leeuwarden, the Netherlands), there’s a local artist who creates miniature people, which he hides in at least 50 places in the city centre. All different miniature scenes. The walk to see all of them takes like three hours, so we’re literally blessed with beautiful miniature art on our daily basis ❤😌 how cool is that?
On the few times that I was just walking along, and came across something whimsical that had been added to the cityscape, it warmed my heart every time. 💝
The City of Toronto needs to make this a legit collaboration! Seriously so cool!!! This just feels like it could bring so much joy being an art installation all over the City in unexpected places.

I love how it looks! But the ends terminals of guardrails are designed like that to reduce the seriousness of car accidents. By affixing stuff to the bottoms and installing an acrylic cover, does it impact the way it functions? I don't know if it's the best place to put a cute miniature.
The city I grew up in (Ann Arbor) had a bunch of fairy doors all around that people could go search for and look at. It was so fun! And good for tourism which benefits the city for sure!
@@PositivityispowerfulI love the fairy doors of A2! I found out about them when my daughter went to college there, got to see a few in person and bought postcards of 4 of them, which I framed. I commented about them when Kelsey did one of her previous miniatures. You’re lucky to have grown up in Ann Arbor. My daughter gets nostalgic whenever we talk about her time there.
I work for Tiny Doors ATL. She’s an artist in Atlanta,Georgia who is a considered a miniature street artist. We put up and maintain tiny doors all over the city if Atlanta that are commissioned by the city it self. So. We do have to get permits and what not. Anyway this reminded me of my work. Maybe check it out!
I just watched the abridged version of the Tiny Doors ATL and _loved_ it. Cannot wait to delve deeper and find more videos to watch (as sadly, I will probably never get to Atlanta to see first hand). I love finding small little whimsical art works. Perhaps I was a mouse🐭 in a past life.

I feel like this needs to be said I just want to remind people that THIS IS A PIECE OF SAFETY EQUIPMENT and PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH on how this guardrail works before replicating anything you see here!!!! This is an MSKT guardrail terminal and relies on there being no obstructions to allow the railing to properly be crumpled and smoothly eject out of the way if someone were to have a head on collision into the terminal end with their car. While Kelsey seems to have kept the opening in the back clear, someone else trying to replicate this might not know and block it off while decorating a railing like this since this was never specified in the video. Altering safety equipment like this without knowing exactly what you are doing can turn a cute project into someone else’s death sentence. I LOVE these miniatures sprucing up boring areas but please be careful what you decorate!
The amount of anxiety I felt everytime someone walked by,.. can’t even imagine how anxious you must’ve been 😂but this is literally the coolest! Hope this miniature series keeps going in this direction!
I walk my dog every day and I would be absolutely thrilled to spot some thing like this in my neighborhood. I think when we go out in a few minutes I’m going to look around for some ideas. I’m so sorry that you had to take it down, but I’m so happy that you created it!
I have watched you guys for a really long time. I LOVE your different styles. Since I I spent my teen years during the seventies, I totally get Becky's decor and how you guys like the clothes we wore back then. I love miniatures!!! I built and decorated houses and furniture. When it was time to move on to my other hobby,sewing. I gave each house to a family member with kids. I hope to spread my love to future miniaturerist. I had built or refurbished over ten! I love the little mouse hole and plant ones you did, so sweet. Thanks for making such OG videos!

I've been watching The Sorry Girls for years and this is absolutely my favorite thing you've done!(Among a list of other things... it's hard to choose! But this tops the list.) So cool.
My jaw kept dropping when I would see the next perfect tiny thing… The tiny plants? The light fixtures? The chair cushions? I loved the creativity of how you used materials!
This is amazing! If I lived there I would be taking photos and sending them to everyone I know. It’s a wonderful little world and it will brighten a lot of people’s days.

From a first glance at the thumbnail I thought it was going to be a little free library, but that could be a possible idea: building a little free library with both a lower shelf for books and a miniature apartment upstairs

Omg becky looked sooooooo fabulous walking down the sidewalk . She looked like she was the client of the project. Ps what a lovely project it was i hope no one ever ruins it or takes it down . You guys should try making something like this for a little girl or try making a replica of the sorry girls office and display it in the office
I loved this public intervention¡¡¡ I am sure it drew similes on some faces¡¡¡¡ It is like a random act of kindness to me.... Can you imagine how excited the kids that passed by got???? Wonderful¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

Just an FYI that space is in the guardrail is to help reduce impact on a direct crash and hopefully keep the rail from imbedding like a spear into a vehicle. If there were a crash I think your art would be crushed yes, for sure but I think it would still function to possibly keep someone safe.
This would be so incredible if you got permission from the city and did more of these! (Maybe a shorts/reels/TT series?) and you had us hunt for them in TO. I would loooove to look for these in the city

You may be starting something BIG! by making something small. It would be right for the City to commission miniature art projects throughout the City, publishing a guide to each one. It would be a popular tourist attraction. Good for you, Kelsey! 💖🙏👑✝
This is so cool! I love miniatures. I made a small wood, two story house into Santa’s house with workshop on second floor next to his bedroom. It was so much fun gathering all the items I needed. The grandkids loved it. Continue your mini surprises! Love your creativity.
Making miniature stuff is one of my dream things to do. I’ve done it before, but only the exterior of a building landscape for a shake test project in physics class. It was so fun. I’d love to really just do it again for interior.

Making miniature stuff is one of my dream things to do. I’ve done it before, but only the exterior of a building landscape for a shake test project in physics class. It was so fun. I’d love to really just do it again for interior.
