BECKY!!!!! I am literally a professional woodworker. I design and make custom furniture for clients (designer tables and cabinets etc.) and.. I would've NEVER taken this one on... I literally would not know where to start and I would've just said nope and paid the $6k. I am so impressed by how far you've come with your woodworking journey and how resilient you are. Knowing first hand how hard some of this was (even with the right tools), I have an insane amount of respect for you! It came out so so so well, and your idea to glue those dowels instead of shelling out for tambour or fluted detail panels was genius. I'm learning so much from y'all every time you post. One tip would be next time you want to glue two pieces of wood together, I would suggest drilling dowel holes and shove some dowels in there with glue-- we use biscuits and dominoes when we do glue ups, and it just ensures that the whole panel will stay rigid and not just rely on the glue alone.
This is the most impressive thing I've ever seen you do. I mean, it looks EXACTLY like the original and you just winged it!! You are such a bada**! Favorite video so far!
Becky, I am always so impressed by how talented you are in figuring out these complex pieces of work and constructing them all by yourself! This video proves nothing is too complicated for you!! Great job!
beckkkkkyyy something I really love is japanese furniture and architecture and traditional japanese woodworking techniques that don't use fasteners or glue! Just joinery! I think making something in that line of thought would be an incredible video idea and a beautiful challenge for you guys.
Just a heads-up when working with poly-clay: white clay is always way softer than other colors! Keep an eye out for mid or firm clay in the craft stores, it’s usually the same price for the same amount of clay, and usually comes in grays or terracotta/beige. They’re fantastic at holding shape and details.
I love this project with every bit inside of me. This turned out absolutely amazing, something that makes me laugh is that it could be used as a secretary’s desk as well. I am loving the “weird” and “unrelatable” content lately. I am so so tired of boring interior design and was yearning for a video like this. You did absolutely amazing!!!!!!!
This is literally the coolest thing I think I've seen you make!!! I love it. Would really like it if you'd put a material list with measurements together. I'd totally purchase that so I could make my own!! ❤️❤️❤️
First of all: My god, I love some Becky content.❤️ and second: This was utterly delightful, and what a phenomenal job you did! I don’t even drink, but now I want a little robot cart friend. It occurs to me this would make an astoundingly cute Little Free Library.
this honestly looks amazinggggg!!! especially considering this was done without any tutorial or instructions and solely off of a couple of inspo pics! great job Becky!!! ❤❤
obsessed! saw the house reveal and this piece and thought it was a purchase until becky mentioned the diy. so impressed and now i want my own space-age bar cart
becky you're incredible! it's so inspiring to see you and kelsey constantly growing your diy/design skillset and this project is the perfect showcase of that im blown away
I’ve been following you all for many years now, and it’s been amazing to see you become more ambitious over time! This is the most spectacular build I’ve seen on this channel. Really enjoyed Kelsey’s telephone booth restoration as well! Keep it going!
I only discovered this channel like two weeks ago and omg where have you ladies been all my life!? This content is feeding my craft soul and the fact y'all are Canadian too?! It's so nice to hear the cost of things in my own currency
You did an amazing job. Tips for Polymer clay though. I would have added something inside the hand to grip onto the wood - like wire or something. The hand may slip off if it is just on the flat wood. Also wire into the fingers - that will add longevity. Also for smoothing polymer clay, it works best with isopropyl alcohol instead of water. If you don't want to use that you can pick up clay softener. However that is me nitpicking as I use clay a lot and have gone through all the ups and downs with it hahaha. Great work.
Becky this is so amazing! You have incredible talent for building furniture. From scratch, no less! This bar cart would be WAY harder than you made it look. And it seemed like you had fun doing it. Its absolutely amazing. Love this content so much!
11:00 well done on figuring out the trapezoidal woodwork!! Really glad you're gonna share the tips with us too :) My dad was a carpenter-joiner and one of the last things he made was a triangle based pyramid out of zirocote, and I know that was a proper challenge for him with all the strange angles- but it is beautiful
So freaking cute Becky. Thank you Sorry Girls for inspiring this lady to continue with her woodworking journey! I’ve decided to add a pocket hole jig to my arsenal because of your show!
Becky, Becky, Becky! You did GREAT!!! Sometimes the most difficult step is knowing how and where to start AND giving yourself time to review what you've completed and time to THINK about and plan next steps. I knew you could do it and I learned so much on how to tackle a project like to this. CONGRATULATIONS!!
Oh my goodness Becky, this is so amazing and cute, if I had a bar cart I would want it to be this one. You are so good at creating these cool things, all of you are so good at doing these DIYs, I am so totally impressed at the end result. thanks for a really great video it was so much fun watching till the end to see this awesome bar cart that just looks so cool standing there. Have a great weekend, sending love and many hugs, bye for now. 🤣🥰🤗💜
Becky, seriously you should be so proud of yourself. All the little complexities! This is phenomenal 👏

this was one of the most AMAZING, ABSURD, INCREDIBLE projects EVER! i'm glued to this video and am challenging my bf to try and stop me from making this (i have neither tools nor space tho)
If I wasn't already subscribed to the channel- this would have made me click. Becky this is by far the best thing you've ever attempted. What a success. This just showcases your skill and maturity. Bravo!!! Also, the overall outfit has to be one of my favorites of yours. It fit the project in a cute but serious kinda way. Hands down, my favorite all around: from fashion to Final build. My husband actually builds fine furniture, so this will be added to the honeydo list for sure! Thanks for the inspiration.
Loving the fact that you girls now tackle such complex projects! Having Rachel in the team seems to really help with that ☺️ You content became so much more cool because you really challenge yourself! Love all of you and wish prosperity and good luck 🍀😍
Love this!! Something to try with the hands to make them stronger is take the clay hands and put them in a liquid mold, then pore colored resin in! Or add wire in the palm and fingers to add strength. But yours look amazing!!
This is the best work I’ve ever seen you guys do. Everything was done perfectly and to a perfectionists standard. Wow!!!! You should be proud of yourself!
Becky, every video you impress me more and more with how quality your craftsmanship is! Every video your creations look more professional and incredible!
If the hands fail - use 3 sticks glued together( increased thickness) or use a large paint stir stick ,make a hole in curved area (palm), use a wire armature (for fingers) attached through the ‘palm’ hole, then cover in clay.
Becky, I don't think I have laughed out loud so much in a very long time. This video was such a joy to watch. You had a few bumps during the building process, that you overcome brilliantly. The finished robot is amazing. Great job! ⭐🤖🍸😀
Omg Becky, if you you aren't a professional woodworker I don't know who is! And those hands? Just come on!!! Most complex and impressive project so far and I am in love ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Absolutely love this! I think if you had molded the hands around a metal L bracket it would be a lot stronger. Are the hands still working with weight ?
@@jjjemmaaa exactly. But i think the hands did carry it in the original. So with only the hinge the lid might not be able to carry much weight. These types of cabinets normaly always have either a string for extra support or a wooden arm underneath that slides out.
That is absolutely adorable! You did such an amazing job. Turned out really awesome. What a fun bar to have. You put it together really well too. It will last a long time. Just as good as the original. Adorable!
I just wanna say I am soooo extremely impressed, and although you said their was things you would improve if you did it again I couldn't see anything it was perfection
probably one of the best projects (& my fave video) youve ever made becky !!! i appreciate all the planning and the details and how you made it all from scratch !!🤎🧩
Cool hack, with the grid. There are easier ways to do that though. I can't afford Photoshop/Paintshop so I use Gimp which is free and available on MacOS as well. It has a measure tool in it which you can set to in, mm, px, etc. Then use those ratios to scale your piece. It also measures angles!
Hello Sorry girls team. Hope you all are doing well. Absolutely love the content and the team vibe. This was a perfect break from my studies. Love from India. ❤️
I LOVE IT!! ❤❤It's fantastic, it reminds me of something Simone Giertz would make! I do have a question about stability - it seemed quite unstable when you were staining it. With such strong magnets, doesn't it wobble when you try to open it? And do you think the popsicle sticks will hold? Btw, I kept thinking you could try the positioning with Blu Tack when you said that there was no way of knowing without glueing it into place, but I guess it wouldn't hold it strongly enough! Anyway, a beautiful piece, Becky!!
This is genuinely of the best projects you've ever had on here, absolutely amazing job!
just what i was going to say! SO AMAZING!! please put up the details and measurements in the blog!!
agreed!!!!!!!
Yasssss!
I LOVE THIS!!!!
Agree!!!! Becky’s my fav!

@@TheSorryGirls exactly what i was thinking :) but you learn as you go! Great job!
The Sorry Girls giving us one of their smallest DIYs ever and one of the most complex DIYs ever IN THE SAME WEEK!
can we just point out that these girls started with tumblr diys and now they are over here building whole backyards and robot bars? incredible
Becky truly is so talented. Her eye for design, her style and what she creates is always so spot on.
Props to Becky for figuring out how to build this project. I am amazed by how good your wood working skills have become. So proud of you :)
honestly this came out insanely good, it looks so expensive!! it’s amazing how much your skills have grown over the years x
my goodness, what a MASTERPIECE! This is one of the most impressive things you have ever done
Thank you! 😊
This project solidly belongs in the "NAILED IT" category.
Also in the “that costs how muuuuch?!”
two sorry girls vids in one week?? we are truly blessed 😌
This is the most impressive thing I've ever seen you do. I mean, it looks EXACTLY like the original and you just winged it!! You are such a bada**! Favorite video so far!
Becky outdid herself with this one - I'm in awe of how this turned out!!
Seriously Becky, I think you've just leveled up The Sorry Girls makes.

What I have learned is that every single furniture with eyes has to be named. My proposal for it is: Bart (from bartender).
Boahahahaha! Bart Ender or Bart D. Barcart
Love it. It's even short for Bar Cart!
Also Bart is like the perfect combination of Bar & cart!!! I love this name
RoBart would be good too :)
Bartholomew Carter

This is the best thing I’ve seen made. Ever. Gosh. *STANDING OVATION* Becky, you’re insanely talented and just so creative. 🙌🏽

Absolutely love this! I think if you had molded the hands around a metal L bracket it would be a lot stronger. Are the hands still working with weight ?
Or just a wire armature. But fingers crossed it will hold up - because - EPIC!
I was wondering this too.. i woudnt dare to put a lot of bottles on the open lid tbh. But it still looks soooo awsome
There isn't any weight on the hands, the piano hing is holding it in place. The hands are just decorative
@@jjjemmaaa exactly. But i think the hands did carry it in the original. So with only the hinge the lid might not be able to carry much weight. These types of cabinets normaly always have either a string for extra support or a wooden arm underneath that slides out.

Becky, Becky, Becky…..I am SO impressed with you!! Fantastic project you took on and nailed it (no pun intended)! You are so talented. You rock!
Becky has been blowing me away lately!! This is the coolest DIY yet! This looks so insanely expensive and professional ❤
