XP15000 Printhead Removal

Video showing how to remove the Printhead from an Epson XP15000.
You should do this as part of your weekly maintenance. ink builds up on the sides of the Printhead and inside the print carriage.

I took apart it and followed the video, after rehooking it It powers but there is nothing on the screen. I was wondering if there is a tamper button that has to be pressed while turned it on

I have done everything you have.
Before cleaning it the nozzle check wasn’t Uniform, it wasn’t printing right…
Now it doesn’t print at all 😅
I don’t know what’s happening.

Hi I followed this to take our my printhead because it is not printing white. I cleaned it and put it back in. When I turned it on it had error code 033007. I read it could be moisture so i let it sit for 3 days and I still have error 033007. Any suggestions?

First, use the Epson button to power off the printer, and then unplug the device. Let the printer sit for at least 24 hours, and you should be printing normally again. If you're still getting the error after letting the printer sit for a day, try letting it sit for an additional 24 hours, or even longer.
Be careful not to let your printer get too dry-make sure the lid is always closed. Otherwise, you could clog the printer with dried ink. If you’re a more technically-inclined individual, you may want to remove the cover and clean the cables, checking to see if any cables are loose. Put everything back in its proper place and run the printer as normal.

Would a dirty printhead be the culprit for grainy and totally off color prints? Asking before I take mine apart!

If it is grainy prints I would look at the graphic 1st. If it is less than 300dpi it is to low resolution.

It is 300dpi. I'm using CadlinkV10...I've tried everything I can think of. At a total loss!

How do you soak the printhead once it is out.

I use a plastic cup cut down to the hight needed to have the cleaner just cover the bottom of the head.

That usually means your main board is fried. Death sentence for your printer in most cases. You can try to let it dry a few days and see if it will come back.
