- Growing up, the plaintiff was told one man was his father. However, after the plaintiff had his own child, his mother told him another man was his biological father, so the plaintiff has petitioned the court for a sibling DNA test. The defendant’s father admitted he hooked up with the plaintiff’s mother, but he refused to take the paternity test, so the defendant is in court instead.
He’s a real gem of a man, keeping his heart open to connect with family, forgiving his mom, fighting for his children, committing to coparenting. I wish him the best.

He still cannot rule out the man who his Mom said was his biological father until both men take a DNA test together. For all they know, the young lady may not be the older man's biological daughter if she hasn't taken a test with him. I've personally know of so many scenarios where DNA test wiped out & replaced one whole side of a family tree.
And that's why I don't really like these types of DNA test because you're right. I agree who knows if she is even his biological child. The father needs to take these DNA test with these children.

I can relate to the gentleman’s disappointment. I am 44 and will never know who my father is. Women need to stop cheating their children out of knowing who their father is because it is life altering. Kudos to the young lady for being open to explore the possibility of him being her brother.

Men should use contraceptives and take accountability instead of blaming the woman. It takes 2⃣ not one so use protection and this will never happen. Marriage doesn't prevent this behavior and this can happen while married too. 😊

Sibling dna tests are so tricky because how do we know she’s his daughter? That was great advice she gave at the end. I can’t imagine being in this situation.

So many men don't take accountability to use contraceptives and blame the woman when it takes two. If she doesn't have protection that's on her vice versa you should stay prepared for sexual encounters. When the plaintiff broke down in court my heart broke for him, no boy or man wants to know their mom was out there like that, and then to lie to him about who his father is, and it not be him 🤦🏽♀️
All we know is they don’t share a father. That man could be his dad and not hers. Won’t know for sure until the “dad” takes the test

@@rambojordan1 The plaintiff has actually commented a few times in the comments of this video that the potential dad had already taken a DNA test for the woman so they knew he was her biological father. So this really falls on the mother.

Man, his reaction broke me. 😢 I’m so sorry. I understand what Sis was saying, she was trying to console him. But he needs a good cry, a full cycle of grief, anger, allat. He does not have to immediately hold space for his “young ‘n dumb” parents. They made mistakes, yes. And this is the emotional fallout he’s left to clean up. Smh.

I would have liked to have seen this case turn out differently. He's obviously looking for the father figure he missed and the young lady who was potentially his sister seems to really care and want to be siblings. Perhaps the man that he thought was his father actually knows more and was protecting him. Stories are wild out here

These results aren't even conclusive. Who knows if Shywonda is even that man's daughter. He seems like he has a lot of ifs out there. Without the father doing the DNA test nothing is conclusive.

The fundamental problem I see here is that the Man in question, MAY NOT BE THR DEFENDANTS REAL FATHER! A Man never knows for certain unless he takes a DNA test! Because some woman tells you a child is yours doesn’t MAKE it TRUE!
It’s not often you feel for someone you know but I hope the plaintiff just continue to be the man who he is. Exceptional example of a real man and father. A lot of people would choose to not go so hard and become another statistic and blame their upbringing for it. Taking no accountability for themselves.
Met my biological father at age 33 but I truly don’t want nothing from him but to know my other siblings and family on his side
