I've beem watching quite a few of your videos now. Just found your channel, ans I must give a huge thank you for making the learning of reaper so much easier. Your awsome!
Nice. There's always something basic I don't know that I need to learn outside of these videos but in terms of using the software, this is really useful. Thanks.
Can anyone explain why my version of Reaper, Reaper v7.15 Preferences only displays up to "Save project file references..." etc and then has an "Open project settings" button below this, where none of the options seen at 1 minute 20 secs of Kenny's video below the "Save project file refences..." line I mentioned earlier can be seen.... Has the latest version done away with these options?
I like the idea of tracks being initialized/created with "REC" ON automatically [04:22], however, I usually have my computer in "audio loopback" mode and I monitor through my interface. I get feedback if I don't have the tracked muted in Reaper. Is there a way to handle this kind of situation? ie. Create track in REC ON mode but MUTED locally on the computer.
LOL Answered [04:55] but what's the difference between the two mute buttons then? There's one to the right of the REC button (a speaker) and another on the right edge of the track box (red letter "M")? Ah wait, M mutes the whole track. Different than monitoring....I can learn new things.
@@REAPERMania Ah yes! Thanks That works, but you need to insert track from template every time rather than just double clicking. I have assigned Ctrl+T to Open Track Template to make opening the templates faster.
Good info that I do need ... but wow.. the upward inflections in the voice every few words is driving me batcheet crazee making it hard to focus. Its like there is a big question mark?? after every other word?? Does anyone.. get?? what I'm saying??
@@hadarahbatyah it's extremely annoying once you notice it though. I can process more than 3 words at a time. If you need a pause after every 3rd or 4th word, then you shouldn't even bother with Reaper. You need to just play with a set of Lincoln logs or something...

Yup l. Kenny, swap the thumbnails
Super helpful!
It's also the thumbnail is off for 2 and 3. They should be swapped as well. Great video though Kenny.
Thanks so much!
Thank You, Kenny!

Is there a way to set a VST on default input chain??
I don't think so. But you can save it as a track template.

You always cut. Your sentences. Into little pieces. But there's no real logic. To the way. You do it.
I appreciate the way he cuts his sentences. It gives me time to process what he’s actually saying as I follow along.
i agree i noticed it but it does allow me time to process what he is teaching
yes. it is. pretty distracting. i feel like. he's trying. to talk. to tards. sounds like. that robot obama. gross
