ANYONE WHO HAS NOT SUBSCRIBED YET- PLEASE DO SO!!! Darren and family make these amazing videos, which transport us into their world of yummy, delicious foods!!!!
Great video. I can't believe the amount and variety of food at the market and looks like your video covered them all. I must try the mussel omlette next time I'm in Thailand. Also liked the KFC on sale there - Krabi Fired Chicken!
As always. You show lots of types of Thai Food very interesting and yummy.I'm planning to go there in Krabi to celebrate my Birthday next year with my fiancée. Thank you very much to all impormations about food and places to go. Really love ❤️ to go there in Thailand 🙏🏼
Watching your market videos always make me hungry... My mouth is watering and I can't really wait to go there again in April next year.... And yes, I wanted to know about the Songkran, Will there be songkran in Bangkok or anywhere else? I was supposed to be going for songkran, but now I am not sure whether it's gonna be held.. but I have already booked my hotels and flight tickets.... please update me if you have any idea about it... thanks in advance...
I'm sure Songkran will be much as it always is. It is a tradition that goes back hundreds of years and is the Thai equivalent of New Year, I can't see it being cancelled. Please note that this is my opinion only.
Great video as usual Darren. Btw how is the daily life going on in Thailand after pass away of the Thai king. Heard that many shops and night entertainment venues are still close. Is that true? I will be visiting Bangkok in Jan next year.
Thanks a lot. Daily life is as close to normal as could be expected. I did not hear of any shops being closed and I did not see any shops that were closed where I live after the King's passing. I just got home from my local bar area in Ao Nang and all of the bars were open. I would expect that everything will be open in January. I hope that helps.
I usually go to Chiang Mai for the last 4 years this year .i love its vibe.I want to try something different I'm thinking about going there what is your opinion? I don't party, I don't drink, I Muslim but I love Street Markets ,night markets ,walking in chinatown etc.even here in Chicago Im always at flea markets.i love outdoor activities that won't break the bank. would you suggest ao nang for a month vacation?
Hi Darren, Im planning a trip in december/Jan and was wondering if you think its better for me to book my ferry trips and flights whilst actually in thailand instead of online? Just trying to save as much money as possible to spend on activities and food!
Yes, you'll get a better deal booking most things when you're here. With flights though you'd probably get them cheaper online when the airlines release specials.
Fried Angry Birds...LOL...who knew???? BTW, jackfruit has become the new rage out in California as the latest non-meat phenomenom....lots of vegetarians out there due to the ease of getting fresh fruits and veggies and their year round growing season. Ananda so cute deciding on and paying for his food. Quite the lil' man ;-)
Lol, the Angry Birds seem to be very popular judging by the number of shops that sell them. That doesn't really surprise me about jackfruit, it's good that it is catching on. It is delicious and I believe it is very good for you. Yes, he's growing up fast, he does love those little yellow things :)

Tq darren..i went here after saw ur video last year regarding this night market in klong haeng..
Is it the same night market on evry thursday? Klong haeng area..
Yes, the Thursday market is still in the same place in Klong Haeng.
Great video. I can't believe the amount and variety of food at the market and looks like your video covered them all. I must try the mussel omlette next time I'm in Thailand. Also liked the KFC on sale there - Krabi Fired Chicken!
Thanks Seb! Yes, there's so much you can try at markets like these. The KFC is divine :)
I like your idea of posting the map coordinates. I am making note of those.
I wish I'd thought of it earlier ... I used to spend hours creating maps.

Love your vlogs Darren! I'm coming to Krabi in a month so I can't wait to try all the yummy food myself. PS: Why is your wife wearing a mask?
Thanks a lot, I'm sure you will love the food here! She is wearing the mask because she wasn't wearing sunscreen, Thai people hate the sun.
Wow 👍👍👍
👍👍👍
Your baby is sooo adorable!!!
Thanks :)
I keep seeing in videos it looks like characters on a stick at the food on a stick stalls what are they?
They are processed fish protein, or something similar, shaped into Angry Birds, Doraemon and other shapes.
Where is the google maps like Darren mate?

Hi Darren, it's Wednesday and I just got to Ao Nang. Where will I find a night market here? I leave Friday morning. Thanks!
Head to Google Maps coordinates 8.047571, 98.811975. There's a great market every Wednesday there from about 4pm till 7.30pm. Enjoy!

Is that the Muslim area near the Snake Show?
It's about 1km from the Snake Show, back towards Ao Nang.
YUMMM !!
Yes, big YUMMS here!
andy stubbs
The fish can't last long in the heat at the market!
Yes, they keep it in ice boxes and only take out what they will sell quickly to display.
I am from Türkiye
Hi from Thailand :)
Wow, western cooking seem primitive to this!!!!
