Throw It Away by Abbey Lincoln - Видеоклипы
Mesmerizing, so beautiful! I trust Abbey is smiling with her song treated so lovingly in Esperanza's hands.
Harriet Johnson Her mentor the late Marianne Mayfield another singer bassist also smiling
if I can get my jaw off the ground i'll find a way to express how blown away I am. it is a travesty that I can only give this one uprate.
awesome. Thank you Esperanza
Hauntingly beautiful.
this is music I can lose myself in for a while and find myself renewed
ASTONISHING
Saw her in concert in Oakland a few months ago. She played this song during her encore. It was the best song she played. Very powerful.
I never miss other instruments when I'm listening to her
Lovely Little Sis!❤❤
all i can say is whhhoooowwww, is not easy turn a song into art, you did it Esperanza.
So Sweet~ Abby Would Be Proud!!
Abby Lincoln?.... yeah!
so good words..
This is amazing. I just recently turned myself on to Ms Lincoln and was truly amazed by her. Love finding great things out about my people! I have loved Ms Spalding for a number of years (I'm not a bass player but I definitely respect it.) as well and was fortunate to see her in concert. This was a match made in heaven, in my book.
Absolutely Beautiful
I saw Ms Esperanza yesterday (05SEPT) at "TOKYO JAZZ 2015". I was very much impressed by her incredible bass playing, singing as well as hot & spicy instrumental interplay with guitar & drum. Though I largely scoped Jack Dejohnette trio on same day of the LIVE program, I was so much knocked down by her & her splendid performance. Good meeting with her !!
Ina class by herself........Wonderful.
Incredible! To display such playful joy in the midst of intense concentration... This is not an easy piece and she performs it brilliantly.
hello....you captured....it...and really have the gift!
Outstanding as usual!
Wow, not only is she beautiful and gifted musically, she is spirit-filled!! God continue to bless you, Espy!!

Thank you......
My new favorite artist. I'm just floored by her musicianship. Unreal
Marry my son:)
Great example of how less can be more, musically
Ouch! Great!
Wow!
monument prachtig
I can't find words......
Because there are too many other musicians out there who would show her a clean pair of heels on a standard, that's why.
@@JUANS3F Seven years too late with that reply
Nice
We love Esperanza. And this is a great song! How do you like our recording?
oh my Esperanza Spalding
Woo, just like Sting and "sister moon". Very similar style.

ブラボー!
she's beautiful. m.
lol for a sec I was like what kind of a name is Dick Hannah Dealerships ? !
I wish she moved me as she is clearly the consumate musician, but I've listened many times, and I just am not. She clearly does not need my vote though and I wish her continued success!
I love this comment. Curious, who does move you?
ONLY VOICE… great

Man patinka,gimineja buvo dziazmenu.
Unique artists find that genres are rather a binding definition, besides, if i want real jazz i know where to look. You'll only get frustrated when talent refuses categorization. Esperanza alludes her neutrality to mixed identities brought about by her heritage (she's from different cultures). please listen to this interview.paste this in you-tube search duiDsimsJLk
Anyone with this talent will get gigs my friend... maybe your other 'much better sounding' musicians aren't that great after all...
What sex changes are doing here in your remark is a question to me, but I'm sure an 'earchange' could help you :)
I don't understand why she avoids jazz standards
They're still unhappy about Justin Bieber. :p
It's hype, that's all, she's not the saviour of Jazz, she's just a chick who can play.
So many great musicians in the world scuffling for gigs and we're presented with this?
How the hell is this gonna save the art form? Just one chick who can play, she ain't that heavy.
Pop crossed over into jazz and everyone brought the hype with it.
Yes, there is something so fake about her. She's got no special talent.
You both are both sick fucks and deaf at that , bite it...!!!
OK,she's great, but what about the rest of the world's musicians who can't get a gig who sound much better?
Do they all need sex changes and shit or what?
Love it !
