I saw her open for Steve Wonder in LA. I never heard of her but once she began playing I was hooked. This music is full of emotion, complexity yet free. Fantastic musicianship.

After watching her, something just clicked & I experienced a growth spurt in my own Bass playing. Thank you Espaeranza!!! After studying with Ron Carter many years ago, I then got to watch many of your vids & see so many other possibilities, both musically & instrumentally. I am now a completely different bass player now, thx to you! - U gave me the greatest gift of all :)
simply amazing. saw her perform last night and she closed with this piece. not only is she a virtuouso, but her band is sick as well. the guitarist was awesome, the drummer was beyond on point and keyboard player was gettin it in on the piano and the organ. she would be great with backup singers but i actually dig the quartet. this band has great chemistry so if it ain't broke, don't fix it
This will never been marketed like the commercial plastic performers because it inspires and has depth. You cannot mention a pop star in the same breathe

@eowolo Generally speaking, if you're ignorant of style/form/dynamic/tenor and the LANGUAGE OF JAZZ...it's best to just sit silently and bobble your head and Pretend that you comprehend..until you can be mentored or educated to the point where you can appreciate, enjoy and experience la musique...long way from pre-school to PhD
