A hardworking man can be just a mule if he doesn't have motivation. Repeating the same things over and over day after day might be a way of hiding from things, fro. Trying new ways. Motivation is always what gives you vision for going to different place, uncharted territory. I mean there are countless of gym rats that never go beyond obscurity because they just repeat what's meant to be repeated. While motivated guys can create new paths.

Shortly before I made this comment I started jiujitsu and in the begginning even though I hitted the gym for yrs prior, I wasnt ready for the fitness level it requires. So sometimes I just showed up regardless either on the gym or in the mat, long story short I'm a blue belt already and have won two tornaments.
My daughter was in a bad relationship. I didn't know how to get through to her to save her. My last chance was this video. I saved her, before I became the trash on the news. Thank you

Whether you overcome your fear or not you have faced it, it is not meant to be, overcoming fear is such a misconception because you still have to live with the fear of death regardless, no warrior has a chance to die in the ring if he fights till death, so why should he continue to face death?

There is one time I can remember, a training so long I got to experience both, feeling like all I wanted to do was quit and somehow I kept going. The decision wasn’t rational, like “I’m that guy” for me. Finnishing just felt like something I had to do so I did it. And afterwards I was one of four out of about 150 people who succeeded in this training.

As a boxer I had to fight different opponents but to fight an opponent inside your body is a different story. Because of my mindset and my experience in the ring, I was - and I am still - mentally prepared for the biggest fight in my life. There is no surrender! Thanks Samuel!

Yeah love Teddy but he is a lil too hard on Mike though mainly because of the daughter incident when Mike was a teenager. Mike had his demons surely but anyone would if they endured his horrible childhood/conditioning. He is now at peace though and is a good,humble guy these days. Even though there were fights during a period where he was pretty much giving up on himself and life it seemed late in his career, Tyson did face adversity and was in some wars like with Razor Ruddick etc.. It seems the crazy antics like the Holyfield ear biting incident was much more than Mike just wanting out of a fight that wasn't going his way, it was the accumulation of many hardships, past demons and letdowns from people he confided in that ultimately just used him for their own financial gain etc.. Don King, Robin Givens etc.. There was a time when Mike had crappy character but he has evolved and grown into an entirely different human being it seems. One thing is definite though, he is the most physically gifted heavyweight fighter ever from just a raw, natural genetic perspective 🥊😉
