I read bigtugg as buttplug 😭
Thank you. I'm actually 3 hours away from my father's funeral. I probably won't take any of your advice (because I'm not crazy), but you made me laugh. Great timing!
Sorry for your loss. I know it’s tough.
Sorry for your loss, hope you get better from this situation as soon as possible, it never gets easier
I’m sorry for your loss. Sending a virtual hug.
Sorry for your loss, glad you could find a laugh. It helps.
I promise to avenge your dad.
My dad died when I was thirteen (we weren’t close but it was still weird) and I was sat at his funeral and they started reading the poem “chocolate cake” by Michael fucking Rosen and I started laughing so hard because it was such a dystopian and weird experience- it got to the point where my cousin started laughing as well and he put his arm around me and whispered “pretend like we’re crying” so we just sat there laughing while they read this god awful strange poem and it was honestly the weirdest experience I’ve ever had
Bro chocolate cake is a national treasure
That cousin is a treasure
Omg the bit of arguing with yourself was so perfectly timed. We found it. Peak comedy
I agree. I thought that it was hilarious
Amen to that. Fuck.
🥖
fucking sublime
Top tier comedy 🤣
FUN fact: I saw a funeral procession drive by my house earlier today. A few minutes later, I got the notification that this video was premiering. Thank you, good sir, for the comedic timing.
Imagine dying and some mf makes a RUclips comment about you being "comedic timing" 💀
@@doggycatalanwe could only be so lucky

@@doggycatalan I would be glad that's quite rare timing
i genuinely believe it is important to make funerals fun and enjoyable. when i was 10 at my 18yo brother's funeral, i was in the worst place mentally i've ever been in. my two best friends came, however, and i sat with them during the precession rather than the family pew at the front. long story short we talked and had fun and laughed so hard we had to try to be quiet. i have zero idea how i would have gotten through that without laughing.
In Ireland we drink and celebrate the life of people who have passed. Wakes usually last 2-3 days, filled with people laughing, sharing stories and drinking. A funeral is a 6hr affair from service to "after party" 😅 a lot of us end up in the pub the rest of the night, toasting to the fallen ❤
I went to Ireland a couple years ago and to be honest…y’all really seem to have life figured out! And death apparently. Ig the absolutely insane views probably help…the scenery was shocking coming from America 😂
Sounds amazing!
The Irish side of my family has those kinds of funerals. Burial is in the morning and we spend the rest of the day and night partying in memory of our family. It gets weird when you get used to the fun funerals and then end up going to the normal ones.
That's how I want my funeral to go fr.
And singing. Every funeral I've been to turned into a sing song.
I'm irish btw

My aunt died 3 months ago from cancer. At the funeral most of the people were important people in politics (because my uncle is kinda important in my city) and they were there for the picture. I hated every second of it.
This video made me laugh and wonder what would had happened if I did some of the things you put in the video.
Great video Tugg, you made my grieving so much easy❤️
I love the candle. It's harmless, practicable, and many layers of mindfuck.
Already laughing.

"Hee hee" Michael Jackson.
After listening to the new Alvin Flames album my third eye was opened. My ex was shot off a cliff from the pure vibes. And my dog started talking to me purely to say how amazing it was
Lucky, it just cured my cancer
That bit where you argued with your future/past self was very Bo Burnham-esque and it was incredible
OH MY GOD THATS THE PERFECT DESCRIPTION!!
Okay this is so apropos because my mom is literally dying and we've planned a few pranks for her Catholic funeral 😂 She's an icon and I'm gonna miss her so much
I’m glad you guys can still make memories. Show em what you got
So sorry you’re all going through such a hard thing, but glad you’re making it through with some humour. My dad mentioned he wants us to throw a party and have him there weekend at Bernie’s style. Lol. I told him I’m pretty sure we would get charged with messing with a corpse.
okay but that argument with yourself bit was hilarious
I was trying to forget about that rash on my back, and 10 seconds into this video i was rudely reminded of it, thank you Mr. Tugg
The I miss Mac Miller shirt is just true for this video
RIP mac🕊🕊
That argument Tucker had with himself was pristine comedy.
Ah the bestie that rants to me
His sense of terror and his emotions make him so entertaining and humorous even though it is about FUN FuNERALS!!!!😂😂❤
Love u tug froma proud TUGGLET❤
I work in a party store and we commonly have people come in to buy balloons for celebrations of life. I love the idea because instead of mourning the loss of someone, they’re celebrating the life they lived
Thank you for this great advice Tucker I used this at my mother's funeral! 🙏🙏🙏
😀🫢😂
LETS GOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
I genuinely want a comedian to perform in my funeral
As a funeral director, i appreciate this video
The part where you’re arguing with yourself is absolutely hilarious. Hands down the best part of the video
Wakes/funerals are almost fun in a macabre way in the Irish catholic tradition. Story telling/remembrances of the departed, drinking (and/or smoking weed with the cousins/cool relatives), laughing/crying/laughing/crying, etc…
“We miss the shit out of ya, but we know you’d call us pussies for crying so we’ll just have a friar’s club roast by your casket” type vibes
That fourth wall break was golden.
almost a year after my cousin passed away, this was sort of comforting and therapeutic in a twisted sort of way, thanks tucker
14:11 these are wise words.
I love the weird relationship between past and editing tugger
This reminds me of my Nanas funeral where we tripped while setting the casket on the lowering straps and the casket slid into place (only slightly off kiltered 😅). Luckily everything was good and everyone got a good laugh knowing Nana would just laugh her butt off at it 😂 It really helped the mood before the end of the funeral!
A 14 minute tugg video? Right after I finished watching solo leveling? This is the best day ever.
I was at a funeral for a partners great aunt a few years ago.. the son got up to "speak" and instead pulled a karaoke machine out from his pew and began singing. He sang 2 and a half songs before someone went up to stop him. It was still the most wild funeral experience I've personally had
(The son is a narcissist and often does outlandish things to get the attention on himself at the *most* inappropriate times)
I find it genuinely funny this video comes out the day after my grandpa died and I don't know if that's a bad thing or not, don't worry I'm sure to use the advice given here
HOLY SHIT that bit during the sky burials was INSPIRED. Absolutely iconic acting and writing and editing i love you tugg
11:40-12:02 was a great bit.
That part with you arguing with yourself is exactly how editing feels sometimes. I guess it is a universal feeling across all content creators.
today's my grandpa's funeral and you have no idea how much better i feel after that video, it really made me less stressed, thank you bro
Tucker has officially gone off the rails. Thanks for taking us with you
At my great grandma's funeral my cousin and I (both twelve) just went exploring around the church, finding a bunch of creepy old hallways. One of which held both an open room with a chalkboard and a playroom, most of the kids at the funeral spent it in the playroom, me, my brother, and my cousins spent the time playing hangman and attacking each other with pillows. Moral of the story:
Have pillow fights at funerals (no disrespect to my great grandma, we were all there for the service and all of us were very sad when we found out she was dead)
My grandpa passed away recently and I've been going through a rough patch. His funeral is coming up and this really made me laugh so I feel a bit better about the whole thing. Thanks Tucker!
Tucker, I literally just finished watching the final game theory episode, you didn't have to time this video to make it MORE emotional lmao.
dude your jokes are getting better, your production quality is improving, and your videos are the only videos I ever actually laugh at in real life. The arguing with your past self bit and the funeral pranks were great segments. Keep up the good work my man, this upload schedule is insane, try not to burn out trying to get these out every Saturday.
I was having an existential crisis last night and this video just made me feel so much better. I’m not even kidding.
1:05 As a former catholic, holy shit you are correct. Catholic funerals somehow make the funeral even sadder than it originally was
Your timing is impeccable. My grandfather passed away the day you uploaded this. His funerals Friday. You always know how to make me smile Tugg. Thank you
My family has launched my dad's ashes 3 times now with Celestis Memorial Spaceflight.
And I know three times seems like a lot but he was quite the space Enthusiast and the first time around we couldn't go to the actual memorial launch because of covid so they gifted us with another launch, that one we got to go to but he re-entered the atmosphere within about 6 months so they gave us another launch. And that one is TBD. But it's a fucking epic experience every time
Just lost one of my grandparents. Thank you for the smiles.
As someone with a dead mom I love to find the deceased’s kid and tell them either “welcome to the dead moms club” or “welcome to the dead parents club” and they either love it and it makes them feel better or it makes a scene which I apologize and try to explain why we personally relate now to try to make them feel better. Another I like to do is call out the people who the deceased didn’t like (exs, enemies etc).
Thank you.
My grandma passed a few months back and I'm finding it incredibly difficult to deal w the loss bc we were p close and lived together w my mum so this helped a bit.
I’m planning my mother’s memorial service and I’ve had to stop myself repeatedly from getting to the podium and telling off everyone who treated her wrong. It’s terrible. But it would be hilarious.
I swear he gets funnier every video. Especially where he argued with himself that was gold 💀
"you always want to get the audience to pop" oh okay
a lot of these would be fun to do at a wedding as well. like make a speech about grieving over the fact that your buddy just lost all his freedom and start crying hysterically
You know this makes me so happy my family didn’t throw a funeral for my grandpa. He was a weird man he just didn’t want one.
Wait why dose big tugg look like an off brand Ryan Reynolds's
The bit with your brother was so wholesome!
I remember I was going to my Uncles funeral, and we he was actually just 3 years older than me(my mom had me at a young age, and my grandmother had her children at a similarly young age) and we grew up in the same home and he was practically my brother growing up, but as we grew we started drifting apart, and he became more, and more pretentious to the point no one liked him(me included) nor associated with him(me included), and when he died in a car accident, I was the person he said was closest to him so I had to give a speech at his funeral. Legit no one wanted to do it, not even my mother, she and everyone I knew practically begged me to do it. Worst day of my life. But rest in peace Nikolai.
Already know ima love this
My grandfather chose all the music for his funeral and we exited the church to “Staying alive”
YOUR GANDPA IS THE ACTUAL GREATEST MAN -ALIVE- UH TO LIVE
@@mrs.samuel.L.jackson Thanks - his sense of humour is what I miss most about him
Ever since I started following your channel I've been enjoying every video you do. I really love your style of comedy and video making. This was really good so thank you for all the content you do!
I love how he exploded at the end...
I do not get this joke.. 😐
That editor argument was hilarious!
This man's humor is the only reason why as a Christian I still watch him he is so funny bro
Does he have some weird religious baggage or something? Im a recent viewrr and at least my impressjon so far is that hes your typical northeastern self hating catholic like 90% of white catholic comedians
Thank you for making this video, Big Tugg. My mom unexpectedly passed away a few weeks ago and I never thought I would lose her at such a young age (I’m 30, she was 50 and only 2 weeks away from her 51st birthday). I want to thank you though because this video helped me laugh uncontrollably 😂 My mom would have loved if I had done any of the pranks you mentioned 🤣 By making these kinds of videos you really do make a significant positive impact on people’s lives. And on the off chance you see this comment, I wanted you to know that I’m very thankful for you and your content!
Judging by the current state of my grandma’s health this video gave me some amazing ideas.
Don't want to be sobby but after a bad day watching this helps
when my stepdad passed away the funeral was interesting. there was tons of bright colors and costumes and games, it was a celebration of everything that made him special there was geeky stuff, food, and sword fights. he had the coolest hat collection and all of his kids could have one, I wanted a certain hat but so did his biological son so we had a sword fight (I won obviously) and that set the tone for the entire night and my grandma asked me to swordfight. it was a wonderful night. I can confidently say that I'm one of a few people who sword fought my stepdads biological son for a hat.
Adding to the map thing, basically anything that makes it seem like the deceased had some mysterious secret they took to the grave will do nicely.
Bonus for funsies: you have 2 minutes to ruin a funeral. What do you do?
When I first saw the title I immediately thought of the video where a guy made a recording to play at his funeral that made it sound like he was alive in the casket they just put in the ground. It was pretty funny and the attendees got a nice laugh out of an overall sad day.
You could also grasp the casket and scream" I never touched Lurleene", " Grandpa where is all the gold?" or " You said you'd teach me to paint!"
I didn't know you are a helldiver, thank you for your service for freedom and democracy.
Me and my friend made a promise to each other that the person who dies first has to sponsor the funeral with Grammarly
My Grandma wants to be a firework when she dies. That sounds so metal honestly
Anyone excited?
Tugg My great-grandfather passed away a few days ago .This video will help thanks.
Of course my grandmother died yesterday and then today you upload this. Thanks for the tips.
I’m impressed with how many “funeral” stock photos there are😅
7:46 I mean, perfect.
We're catholic, but when my grandpa died we got mariachis for the mass and the procession. We sang along to his favorite songs and drank tequila all the way to the cementary. Then we went home and spent the rest of the day drinking, eating and sharing stories about him.
I have maintained for years that when I die, I want to be put up like a f#%cking singing fish. Imagine this: people slowly shuffling into pews as the lights dim over them. Candles go out around the room at once. A slight chill rushes up your spine. Suddenly, f@%cking disco lights activate as the coffin slowly opens to reveal the deceased strapped to the lid sideways. Suddenly, that s#it starts flopping around like it's having a seizure just to open its mouth and start singing. Might be a bit costly, but you get the right hillbilly mechanic cousin and it's no problem.
I can only imagine big Tugg out of context compilations.
A minute and a half in and "PLEASE DO THE 'GUESS THAT OBSCENE PRICE' BIT" just popped into my head out of nowhere.
my Papa's funeral I found out he was a spy during the Korean war....I knew he worked for the Pentagon for 22 years...22 years, 2 months, 2 weeks and 2 days to be exact. He was also a financial advisor/accountant, he really liked numbers....which I found out even more so because the coordinates he would have to memorize while being behind enemy lines. He also was one of the first 20 men to break the sound barrier in a plane and he got court-martialed for doing it because it was under the Golden Gate bridge. He spent the next couple years in Iceland haha. You find out more about people some times after they die.
I think it's pretty cool that you promote your mates music as much as you can, the music is pretty good too.
my mans whole logo should be the way he stands with his arms out like a toddler that just shit the bed and is waiting at the door to tell his mom but she hasnt noticed yet so hes just standing there and hes embarrassed so he just stands in silence
Physically buried, dug the hole and filled it in for my grandparents today idk how I feel still but the video is well timed.
I LOVE the candle one. Wish I would've done that at my mom's funerals.
"The right people in the room and the right person in the coffin " is so freaking funny to me lmao
Yessssss. Any editor and editee argument is fantastic
"Are you picturing a large cannon?"
no, but now I am
The arguing bit was amazing, breaking the 4th wall with yourself was perfect.
But I didn’t know about getting your ashes launched into space, I want be snorted by aliens too.
The last funeral I went to was for one of my Mum’s Aunty’s. It was a beautiful funeral, it was a celebration of her life
My dude, timing of this could not have been more/less (jury’s out) perfect. Heading home tomorrow for a funeral and now you’re just giving me ideas
11:40 best part lol. Also, at the end! Your brother is awesome for spreading Managed Democracy!
"Different strokes for different folks! No pun intended- a man died Tucker, get it together." 😂😂😂
Honestly been having a very hard time losing my dad and other family members this year but your videos are so calming and I just hope you do not stop uploading for awhile you have the comedic talent to where I'm sure you will SOAR over 1.5 million subs!!!!
Tugg fighting himself is my brain trying to get at least 5 hours of sleep
Tugg needs AOC

officially canon
This is probably a bit deeper than the video intended, but I think it's a legitimate alternative to the common western overpriced box that gets buried, my mother has said that when she dies, she doesnt want the standard funeral where everyone sits and listens to strangers deliver a speech about a person they didn't know before family members have emotional breakdowns in front of a crowd that is either feeling depressed or awkward. She wants my brother and I to take her ashes, rent a boat, bring close friends and family, and have a good time on the water before spreading the ash into the sea. No holy men, no scripted eulogies, no hording her remains underground or in a vase forever, just people who truly care about her and us getting ready for a new reality without her.
And I think that's a great way to do it. I've been to funerals for grandparents and sat in a stuffy church I'd never been to before just quietly crying while some priest I'd never met before talks about my family member to a crowd of people I barely know, and I dont want to do that again.
Even though I have premium your promos are the only ones I don't skip past 🤣 you even make commercials entertaining
