I Just tried shrooms for the first time last night, I've done acid and dippers, but shrooms was great, had me happy and let me almost create my reality in and unatural way if you know what I mean.
I've started microdosing mushrooms in place of my prescriptions i feel like ive become a better person... best decision ive ever made. I wish it was more accessible to those that need.
Not to get serious on a tugg video but one of my best friends died from coke laced with fentanyl, so I appreciate you addressing that issue. You can always get kits to test your drugs so I encourage you all to do that (Edit: For those of you saying "Or just don't do drugs" what I mean by I encourage you all to test your drugs, is if you are already going to do the drugs, might as well be safer- harm reduction. The best option is obviously to not do the drugs of course, but if you're going to partake or if you have an addiction, please be safe and when you're ready know that there is help out there)
Wait, you can have an amount of drugs without taking anthing? What do you mean test my drugs? The normal amount of durgs (in a blood, at least) is zero
3 years sober and whew “nothing good comes from needles” YUUUUP. Please please please don’t let people pressure you! I had such low self esteem I allowed it and it took me from alcohol to IV fet in the span of a 10 years. Now I’m playing catch up but I’m just grateful to be here.
I remember when D.A.R.E was big in the 90s, I even won a D.A.R.E essay competition in 5th grade, something about my plan future and "why/how I would never touch drugs" I was one of the stoner kids in highschool and worse afterwards 🤣
I completely ignored all the DARE propaganda because I _knew_ it was propaganda after reading up on actual drug pharmacology and effects on websites like psychonautwiki and erowid.
I actually really like how he doesn't seem to have struggled with addiction to, say opiates, but he's very understanding and empathetic of the struggle of addiction as it relates to society as a whole.
I never personally dealt with anyone that used them. But I know someone I thought was nice OD'd in highschool. I only learned about that when she wasn't on the bus after summer. hard drugs are no bueno, people that do them really need help.
I was a hard opiate addict, and a total garbage pail user. It's hard to find someone who has some sympathy while simultaneously being very clear about staying the fuck away from the stuff.
Day 5 of sobriety from weed after 7 years straight. Withdrawls already settled down surprisingly other than the irritability. I’m happier than I was when I was going hard. They say it’s not addictive but I was addicted.
Yeah weed withdrawal goes fast thankfully. I've had to take breaks before and it just takes a few days before you feel normal again. Hard to sleep though.
What were your withdrawls like? my parents told me i had withdrawls when it really just felt like goin back to how i felt before smoking. aka, all the pain and constant puking which was the reason i started smoking to begin with.
Well they say theres no addictive SUBSTANCE in weed, but having an addictive personality is what makes it seem so. A lot of those people work in repetition and dont favor change, and weed is a part of routine. Rolling a blunt becomes ritual and scheduled, you start smoking to improve food enjoyment, for sleep, for headaches ( i cough too much so this wouldnt work for me personally ) they smoke socially, they smoke when theyre alone, before work, after work, to help focus when studying or engaging with tv. Theres no substance that you get latched onto but WE as humans can latch ourselves onto habit. So its correct to say weed isnt addictive. But that isnt saying you cant be addicted, its just saying its on you. Not the drug. If you had a different personality, and some discipline that might jot otherwise be there, it becomes abundantly clear that theres no actual addiction of that kind. That and people who depend on being high to get through a day NOT because withdrawal, but anxiety and not liking interacting with people, or whatever the case is. That can make you depend on it to function. So once more, that would be them and their dependence on it to make those things easier, and it becomes habit. then when they dont have it for that they get mad. Its not withdrawal in that sense, its just inconvenient that you ran out lol. Some people weed is like their phone. A blunt is always in their hands.
Fun fact, marijuana actually IS an extremely weak hallucinogen. In large doses people do reliably report mild visual hallucinations in clinical settings, particularly people who have taken stronger hallucinogens in the past.
If you're completely sober for a year or more (no drugs, booze, not even tobacco) and then smoke a huge amount of weed all at once, it *might* create the impression that you're having very mild hallucinations. Thing is, it's probably mostly just you paying more attention to the ramblings of your mind than any kind of drug-induced abnormal brain function.
I remember eating an unknown amount of thc distillate and waking up with some crazy hallucinations nothing like on lsd or shrooms but there was this gaint spinning wheel in front of me
Lmao yeah not like it’s a personal experience or anything but all at once a dose of 5000mg (mostly liquid) starts to get you there Unless you’re really that guy, don’t do this
strong weed just reminds you of your trips on shrooms and lsd and... anyone who didn't have a trip before its not gonna hallucinate, and its mostly fun too.
@@ghjkjjghjk4702 if you have HPPD (halucination persistent perception disorder) which you can get from doing hallucinogenics substances regularly. weed enhances this condition and can make you fell like your tripping
Personally, I’m a fan of the way my school handles it; They put us all down in an assembly when we were 16/17 and went “listen, we know you guys are probably doing this shit, here’s a few ways you can do it safely.” Supervision instead of prevention saves lives.
your school must have been *incredible* lol, all we got was "only LOSERS and DROPOUTS smoke weed" and now jokes on them, I don't smoke or anything but im *still* a loser and a dropout :P
Meh, best method which my school employed was both. First prevention and then supervising the inevitable. Prevention stops the weak minded people/low esteem and filters the strong minded people/users to listen in on the ‘safe way’.
Fuckin way better than having to perform a song in my elementary school for D.A.R.E the just say no thing. I ended up smoking weed and unlocked schizophrenia
I mean, I've eaten my bodyweight in hallucinogens over the years. I'm more well adjusted than many, so it clearly didn't hurt me much. I also never turned into a granola munching vegan, a space cowboy, a moon unit, a spunion, or a tech bro turned wannabe savior, which seems to be where most of the other people who enjoy tripping end up. So I'm going to stick with doing my own thing, my own way. But best of luck to you. The worst part about doing most drugs are the other people you meet doing the same drugs, so you'll save yourself a whole lot of headaches and needless disappointment.
@@theangryaustralian7624well techically they are both mind altering drugs and sometimes weed can mess up peoples minds and mood forever, it's not without it's risks. Obviously meth is a million times worse and extremely addictive and it will kill you but still.
Ofc people don't see fully vivid trippy hallucinations on THC. But you can actually see psychadelic patterns and even see objects, animals etc. that aren't there. I'm not talking about laced joints, it just fully depends on your neurochemistry and on the amount of THC consumed (I personally don't need a lot to start seeing described stuff).
Also it happens after psychedelics. I mostly just see like color splitting and maybe a slight bit of wall melting more rarely because of lsd. I think it complements it.
Knowing a nurse can be the greatest way of really convincing you against drugs. The stories of people having to inject between their toes and getting gangrene, or having some other shit happen and getting spinal ulcers (I don’t remember the specifics I just know it was horrific) are more than enough to make me never want to do drugs. There are so many ways to make drugs seem terrible, and we’re just not using them.
Yeah but at the same time , a shit ton of doctors do coke. Think is less common now than a few years ago but it was as common as in the restaurant industry at one point
[quick grammar edit] Okay, I'm sorry you're the comment section I'm going off in, but it seemed apt tbh. So here's the drug education i wish i could give everyone (American centric obv) First, my credentials for speaking on this topic: i currently smoke and grow weed legally, but did not actually smoke weed until i was 28 years old. That said, i lived with a drug dealer in Florida for ten years. I have spoken to druggies from all walks of life, i have tried a lot of drugs. Almost all of those drugs were prescription. So let get into this, shall we? So one thing i like to make clear is drug related crimes are only a felony because of racism. Essentially, black people got the vote, and suddenly people wanted to crack down on drugs, aka make it a felony, as felons cannot vote. Related, most black people were very poor, almost as if they were living in a society directly opposed to their entire existence. There is a common misconception that poor people are more likely to do drugs, but in this day and age, I don't imagine it will surprise anyone to hear the accurate version is simply "poor people are easier to arrest." On this same topic, you know Sherlock Holmes? He was not MEANT to be an "addict" character. The drugs he used were, at the time, about on the level of cigarettes. Known to be probably harmful, kind of a bad boy thing, but not illegal, and not life destroying. In fact, historically, humans have ALWAYS been doing drugs. And i mean that fully and 100% literally. We have, (probably) been doing drugs since before we evolved into homo sapiens. Look up "drunk animals" some time. There are countless animals who, given the opportunity, get absolutely fucked up with no hesitation. Dolphins, bears, every single bird ever. Cows! Monkeys, of course. I don't just mean the ones getting it from humans either (like monkeys who smoke or those bears who keep breaking into jet fuel containers) i mean, fermented fruit? Like, the precursor to wine? That happens naturally, all the time. Not ALL the time, but if fruit is left to rot, it can mold or it can ferment. I mean, grossly oversimplifying, this is already an essay lmao The point is, the only drugs that are illegal are drugs who's main "purpose" is fun. There's tons of legal drugs. You get them with a prescription, or over the counter. Tylenol and ibuprofen are SUPER HARMFUL lmao. Tylenol has killed a bunch of people! So why are certain drugs illegal? Because we can prove that the war on drugs? The drugs won. Or more accurately, the drug cartels. We have proven time and again that fearmongering and abstinence preaching are worse than ineffectual, they actively make it worse. As always, the correct answer is...education. It's taking precautions, but allowing people to make educated and informed decisions, whilst stopping other people from taking advantage of them. If we made the bad drugs controlled substances and distributed them as we do all our other drugs, we'd have a lot less people dying from drugs. I've known ER nurses, and in the middle of this, I'd like to share with you what they've told me they want you to know: If you come to them for help, they will not rat you out. They just want to save your life. To add to that, as someone who's poor: call the ambulance, go to the er. Go let them save your life. They'll send you a bill. You'll ignore it. You'll have bad credit. It'll suck. You'll be alive. To that effect, one of the big things people ACTUALLY trying to help drug addicts, is simply making safe places for people to go do drugs. Just somewhere anonymous you can just be near other people, you can have someone there to, at the very least, call an ambulance. Drug addiction is a health issue, not a moral one. Also like, don't talk about addiction and then be okay with cigarettes which are literally chemically engineered to maximize addiction. At least with weed, it's generally just the plant, maybe some paper. If we didn't make These Certain Drugs out to be evil, we could just...responsibly do drugs!!! Drink responsibly! Get high responsibly!!!!!! Do your research, and watch out for bias, external and internal!!! Question WHY things are illegal, question everything y'all!!! And on the "how to say no" to drugs? If you got nothing else from this rant, get this: As your gay aunt who smokes weed and rescues animals, if anyone offers you drugs and you say no, and they do not accept that no? You remember me, and you hear me, you do not need that person's like or respect. You tell them no and if they try to force the issue, you tell them to fuck off. That said, if a drug user is offering drugs, they just wanna hang out with you usually. They are also probably already high. They probably aren't trying to pressure you, they're just trying to be nice and being annoyingly persistent. I actually find this very cute generally, so i don't have good advice, but generally like. Just keep saying no!!! It's okay they're not gonna get mad they're too high they probably just forgot if they asked. In social smoking and the like it's considered rude to "hog the pipe" so we tend to be like oh my bad did you want some?? Like, if you were sitting there eating cookies with someone who didn't want cookies... wouldn't you feel kinda bad!!! They're just trynna share the vibe you don't actually have to partake!!!! If anyone Actually tries to make you though, cause there ARE those assholes! I offer you my secret weapon, as someone who seems like a pushover: pinch them. Back of the hand, front of the shoulder, like upper hip area, just somewhere easy to grab a lil skin. Not a BAD pinch. But if they DON'T stop then, progressively worse pinches is a good compromise between outright violence. And if the time comes for outright violence, gut punch, as is tradition. Alright I'm spent, thanks for coming to my tedtalk, genuinely feel free to ask me about my educated drug opinions. Just know if ur a dick i do bite back
Confirmation bias. Only people with those level of struggles end up with a nurse. Healthy people that didn’t have those issues won’t end up in your stories. Drugs are not inherently bad. Alcohol not being on the list despite being the number one killer tells you all you need to know about this video. Shallow, superficial, and clearly just enforcing the social images they want to. They mentioned how their morality was dictated by cops or something like that as a joke, but what’s ironic is that they clearly did let other people dictate their morality to that level.
Yeah but nurses only ever see the worst 1% of drug users. 99% are just living their lives, nurses only see the ones that are sick enough that they need the hospital
Also advice for those with anxiety and such who find themselves in a situation where people are pushing drugs on you or trying to guilt/manipulate you into doing them, don't be a trip sitter and lock yourself into a position where you feel obligated to care for people who 30 minutes ago were trying to push drugs onto you, either make your excuses and leave (Okay let me call my folks/partner and tell them I'm not going to be home until later, step out to make the call *Don't forget your jacket because it's cold! ;) * and get the fuck out of there, or just outright leave because fuck them. Experiment with research, safety in mind, and if you're going to do hallucinogens - do it after your due diligence, with those you care about and are safe around, in an environment you either know and feel safe in, or have control over like your own apartment/home. Make sure you go into it with a healthy mind, no significant stress, trauma etc that you're actively ignoring or blocking out (Because it often WILL make you face and address those things, and unless you surrender to it, lie back and go with the current, if you fight it then you're going to be in for a rough ride.) And research trip killers, psychedsubstance is a good resource. DON'T DO OPIATES, METH, CRACK, (To be honest, avoid cocaine too, there's so much fentanyl out there it's not worth the risk and besides if you wanted to chain smoke cigarettes and talk bullshit & make "billion dollar business plans" with total strangers just go hang out at the Stock Market....though now I think about it, they've DEFINITELY got plenty of cocaine down there also...Just avoid it! lol) Explore yourself, your mind, just remember you only get one body, one mind and one life, value and treasure it. And look after your people, never leave them alone / with strangers no matter how much of an asshole they may be acting. Stay safe all X
Also, cocaine is not safe. They say cocaine is safe as long as it's not cut or laced but that is not true. I wish it was though. I'd be a lot more talkative if it were the case.
@@infern_o2603unlucky you haven’t found it I think u mean. I don’t condone 90% of drug use but psychedelics (used correctly and safely) can be life changing

Former addict. You can't trust addicts to be decent to themselves, so you can't trust them to be decent to others. Addicts lie & will go to great and unprecedented lengths to get their fixes. They won't think.twice about stealing or harming for their own buzz. Do NOT feel bad for addicts. They made the cognitive decision to screw themselves over and afterthe fact they'll screw others over. They are disgusting and I'm glad to be clean. 👍
Weed is my fave, but people often go waaaay overboard with it because they have no concept of moderation. The stuff I take is significantly better than the myraid of bottles of prescriptions I used to take; things that once made me a nervous wreck with an inability to function properly since they all conflicted with one another. Im not saying meds are bad.... and hell, I was prescribed opioids after my wisdom teeth surgery since my jaw bone was destroyed, and I couldn't talk for 2 months because it hurt so bad... but pushing this strong shit for things that could be solved with water and an acetaminophen or two should be criminal.
Stop crying about overmedicating. Doctors are under medicating, i was given tylenol when i was dying in the hospital from rhabdomyolysis and couldnt move or walk because of my legs and fucked kidneys. I have turned to street drugs because of all my chronic illnesses that doctors were afraid to treat me with. They didnt give me controlled medication while i was in pain in the hospital, and because they didnt, i was severely traumatized my entire stay and was still in severe pain, so i turned once again to opioids.
I’m kind of the opposite and a mix of what you’re talking about. I have chronic health issues. I can’t take a lot of stuff because my digestive tract is super messed up and after a lot of trial and error, I seem to be the safest with opioids and Tylenol. If I could take anything else, I would because I hate the stigma. I’ve tried weed on multiple occasions and hate it. It makes me super paranoid and panicked, I absolutely did not feel better and I got tired of being told how I was doing it wrong: wrong strain, wrong method of consumption (inhaling vs. eating, etc), did too much, didn’t do enough, it was always something. I don’t even feel comfortable trying again because my experience mentally was just awful and, again, no relief in any way. I still get suggested and just, no. No, I can’t do it again.
@@carolinamurtha3102some people just have bad reactions to marijuana, just like any medications. I'm sorry people keep trying to push it onto you. I hope your current ones do you well!
I liked south park’s approach to marijuana specifically. That marijuana isn’t going to make you act crazy and you probably won’t even get any addiction habits, but just that weed makes you ok with being bored and that’s not something parents want for their kids. That it’s in those moments you should be learning a new skill or focusing on self-growth. Kind of a general view that doesn’t apply to everyone, obviously, but i like the sentiment.
you are allowed to be bored dude, you don't have to do something purposeful 24/7. People go to clubs and party on the weekends but that doesn't mean it's all they do. You should be having fun in life as well as hustling.
@@thematrix1101 true, but i feel like there’s a balance with everything. And everything can be said to have some amount of value on its own. For example, i don’t think my playing video games is going to be at all helpful in my life, but even that’s shown to help improve reaction time. If you’re smoking weed with friends, you’re improving your social interaction abilities, just like when going out to party. But it’s easier to take a stance against any given drug because it can become an addiction, whether physically or mentally, and your life (usually from an outside perspective, but sometimes introspection too) is worsened by the use of whatever drug you become addicted to.
@@evanweaver1060 yeah but I dont even consider weed as other “drugs”. It’s more like caffeine to me, where I use it to aid my life in some ways (like to relax, have fun convo with friends, etc.). In that sense overdoing anything is bad. And weed does help you in a lot of ways, it makes you think critically and creatively. I was a physics major in college and weed helped me understand so many complex physics and mathematics topics more easily.
The bit about opiates is so true! (speaking from experience) It wont instantly make u feel addicted, thinking everyone lied to me so kept doing it. 2 seizures and 10 yrs later am instead hooked on the healthcare system to be able to even have a daily life. But thankful for treatment clinics :) Thanks for spreading good message ! liked subbed and comment
I don’t want to get all sentimental and shit but I think it’s important that you added in the video how people do suffer from addiction, and that they just need help. I’ve had so many people close to me lose their lives due to addiction. If someone would have been there for them to seek serious help they might still be here. On another note I was a stripper for about 11 years, it’s completely true that the “finance bros” are always off the shits and the “alternative” people love sharing their Molly 😂.
As a person in the punk scene people dont really like sharing their molly very few really nice people actually want to share drugs with others and if they do its most likely molly acid depending on how much they bought perks sometimes shrooms depending on how much they got and coke
My dad left when I was very young. A few years ago he died of an overdose before I ever got the chance to meet him. Ever since then, I've been helping my friends get off drugs and vowed to never do them myself. I hope the message of this video gets out more. Peace ✌️
Can’t wait for this, always enjoyed watching tugg sometimes freak out over the most random things Edit: this was written before he uploaded the video, I know it seems like this comment makes no sense but it did before 😂
Second thing-I have, for numerous reasons, one of which is fear of the law, been terrified of trying non prescription drugs. One of my deep seated fears is not being able to know what’s going on around me, and for my perception of my environment to be compromised. Recently, one of my parents came across an article headline saying ‘some hallucinogens can be used to treat something-or-other-I-don’t-remember, but can be dangerous for certain individuals and cause things like permanent psychosis’ and was like ‘oof, not for us, since your grandfather had bipolar disorder, we are some of the people who would be at risk.’ And I was like ‘damn, that’s scary that something pretty harmless for some people can just fuck up someone’s brain so badly.’ Later, hanging out with my brother, I mentioned that text interaction. And he said ‘oh yeah, that’s what happened to [one of his childhood best friends]’ and I just stopped walking. ‘What?’ ‘Yeah, he can’t live on his own, his family has to take care of him full time. Fortunately they’re well-off and they care about him.’ But like. What a fucking gut punch
Pharmacology is a truly fascinating topic, we've got the basics down but there's still so much that's unknown. Genetics play a big role but there's a lot that's still not known in terms of predisposition to things like addiction and psychosis as well as what can possibly treat what.
I did a lot of LSD before I found out I was bipolar, but I'm bipolar 2 which is different than bipolar 1. Mushrooms actually have helped me a lot, but I take small amounts. I have the same fear as you so I am always very careful of where I get stuff and how much I take!
I will point one thing out, the bad trip statistic isnt the same thing as "fucking up your mental health pretty bad", i for evample didnt start having bad trips until my life was going bad but i didnt realize how bad my life was going, and it was only after i had suddenly gone from always having a good time to 3 bad trips in a row. On the third i figured something most be wrong that im freaking out so bad. Turns out my heart rate was chilling at 120 bpm most of the day and my chordisol level was through the roof, i had gained 30 pounds in those months i thought maybe i was just eating shit and not realizing it, no i just had very high stress levels and been getting anxiety multiple times a day. I thought the anxiety was just a weird chest pain. Once i got that sorted out and i went right back down to normal 6 months later. Took a trip after that and had a wonderful time again. Moral of the story? If you get anxious smoking weed, dont fucking touch psychedelics. If youve never done psychedelics, dont tell people you have and take some. If yall arent ready then dont take it. I recommend yall start with dmt. U can take a very small amount which will feel and look like lsd but will only last 10 to 20 minutes. Otherwise stick to dreaming and having fevers for weird visuals
I wouldn't describe DMT as being a good intro, while sure a vape hit will give a brief high you have significantly less time to process what's going on and measured dosing is virtually infeasible. Better options (based on availability) would probably be iprocin, miprocin, or really just psilocybe assuming their potency is measured so you can measure alkaloid content by dry weight.
This is good advice other than the DMT. I don't recommend that for inexperienced people. Microdosing on mushrooms from a reliable source might be a good start for someone who is nervous and wants to ease in.
@@chrisashtonlightell-west1189 no see, that's the idea, see the thing is about n-n-dmt is that it has no effects on the body, only the body, you can put it in a pen and only take one small hit. You will not blast off, it takes alot at once for that. The lower doses of dmt is quite similar to lsd but the effects will still only last minutes, vs lsd which lasts 12+ hours. Low doses of shrooms could be alright. But the stomach pains some people can have everytime they fo shrooms no matter what can send some people into a bad time. Shrooms to me are the highest level of difficulty. Because they can sneak up on you, even at a low dose. Dmt can't, if you measure your dose, you will not get too high. If you stick it in a pen and keep the wattage low, you'll never be able to blast off no matter how much you hit it. I use dmt carts at raves because I can get a little high and enjoy visuals but be sober in a few minutes to go get some water and maybe a snack
@@chrisashtonlightell-west1189 there is alot of tricks you can do with psychedelics. For example, do you want to trip the whole time but also be able to talk and meet people? Low dose of molly or sally (I recommend you havent done molly for 3 months at least) and u can take up to 300ug of lsd and be completely capable of assessing your surroundings. If you don't know what sally is, its MDA. it's the first love drug and it's exactly the same as molly. It's called sally because it's straight up extracted from the sassafras plant. But it became illegal quickly and molly came out and stayed legal for a few years. Even though sally is easier to make and has the same effects, it is not as well known.
I really don't agree with saying if you get anxious from weed you'll necessarily have a bad trip from psychedelics. Weed gives me legit mind melting schizo breakdowns, but even my worst trip on shrooms was just feeling a bit somber and reflective about my past, no spiraling meltdowns or anything. At the end of the day every substance is different, just don't do shit you genuinely don't like or think you'll enjoy

IV is generally preferred but plenty of people who either destroyed all their visible veins, just don't want to IV or they're using something that simply can't be IVed but can be IMed so they IM/SC it instead. All has to do with bioavailability, IV is generally 100% and IM/SC are a close second in the high 90s (usually 95%-98%) plus onset is quicker, if not essentially instantaneous. Doubt they knew that, lot of people just see a needle and jump to wild conclusions smh. DARE worked to cause fear in a lot of people, unfortunately the actual "education" part was all but nonexistent which is pretty sad considering the word "education" is literally in the name...
I started doing drugs since my teenage, got addicted to Crack. Spent my whole life fighting Crack addiction. Also suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Not until a friend recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. This is something that really need to be use globally to help people with related health challenges.
Amen God bless people. Save your health save your mind. Life is better without heroin, cocaine, alcohol and cigarettes. And you have more money in your pocket. God bless everyone who has rejected the devils intentions to be addicted to alcohol and cigarettes etc which can cause so much damage to health.
From my experience it really works excellently! It doesnt even need to be a full hit. With potent shrooms 2-3 small ones will still make a clear difference. It will be a few hour cosy rumbling moment around rest time, but afterwards its just calm and you feel amazing and gain your freedom. Psilocybin is different dudes, its the only "treatment" I would recommend to someone who genuinely wants to get better. There is no addiction, withdrawal, or negative side effects. It's just pure healing., far more effective than any anti-depressant. You can thank me later,
I was horrifically depressed since childhood. It was relentless. I assumed it would ultimately end me somehow. About twelve years ago I randomly accepted the offer from a friend of a few doses of mushrooms. I did them two consecutive nights alone. First night was pretty mild. The second night? Wow. I saw my depression from every angle, realized much. Next day: depression totally gone. Never came back, never coming back. It's like it's a forest far away I can remember, and could probably find again with enough effort, but it has zero impact on anything in my life or mind. They honestly saved my life and improved it immensely. I never did them again, either. I wish there was a good, organized way to administer them to people who would benefit from them.
I’d like to recommend anyone thinking on trying psychedelics to check if there is a history of mental health disorders in your family. If you do, it makes you much more in risk of it affecting your mental health quite seriously. I’ve had two family members go into terrible psychosis episodes because of it. My brother now takes like 6 different pills every day, just so he can be stable and functional. Be careful y’all
I hear this is very rare, unfortunately if psychedelics were legalized this matter wouldn’t have happened since he would’ve known to look. Although I’m sorry for him.
@1betterthanyou1 What psychedelics have you used? I'm basically the same way, the only time I've gotten visuals is when I used DMT and brokethrough, or when I Kandiflipped one time

if these drugs were prescribed you wouldn't say shit, drugs aren't bad its how people use them. search whats in 90% of the off the counter pills you can buy and see people use constantly and tell me how they're any better, even meth is sold LEGALLY under prescription for adhd and obesity as Desoxyn. only difference is more professional equipment thats cleaned properly (I'd have to assume at least) which is the real problem with drugs: the instability of them, they need to be made very specific and any little bacterias in them could ruin you. that's why instead of demonizing drugs we need to educate people and make it more legal to where actual pharmacys would be giving it to you instead of that one friend who peaked in high school who got it probably got it from some dude making/growing it in a half deteriorated excuse of a trailer in the middle of nowhere.
I met a guy that did so much meth. He woke up not remembering the previous 6 months in a completely different state with an employee from a business he started during those 6 months waking him up because he was late for work. Still it got him to clean up his act lol. He's now sober working hourly
I hate how DARE and other commercials made us see drug users as zombie-like beings looking for their next fix. It can literally be anyone in your family who's an addict. Hell, I was an addict for a while til my fiance helped me quit. Addicts deserve compassion and help. ❤
tysm for this video!!!!!!!! my tip for any dr_g (esp hallucinogens) is that you can always take more but you can never untake them. so always start at a safe dose & see how u feel before u try more
I am so glad to hear you expose the folks who wear pajama pants outside the home. All I think about is whether they showered. I stare as the bottom of their pants are always dragging on the streets and dirty aisles of the CVS. Are they taking street germs into their bed? I shudder to think.
Just putting this out there, marijuana absolutely CAN be an intense hallucinogenic, but only if you have the right genes. I would know, because I would go into a cartoon world the few times I tried it. Like, seriously. It was like Roger Rabbit!
@@bryanergau6682 "People who have taken large doses of marijuana may experience an acute psychosis, which includes hallucinations, delusions, and a loss of the sense of personal identity. These unpleasant but temporary reactions are distinct from longer-lasting psychotic disorders, such as schizophrenia, that may be associated with the use of marijuana in vulnerable individuals." Completely true. I literally believed that dragons were flying above my house.
The most I've experienced personally is feeling like I'm walking at 20fps and slight visual perception changes like if I stare at a popcorn ceiling for long enough the things will move in a bit of a pattern.
I’ve had a fair amount of weed in my time, and there was only one instance where I started to hallucinate that my skull was melting and reforming over and over. It was terrifying and VERY unlike what I normally experience, and 15 years later I’m still convinced it was laced with something. At least it wasn’t fentanyl. Stay safe, kids.
I get synesthesia sometimes, which I don't experience sober. I don't partake very often, and it doesn't happen every time, but strain and/or quantity probably plays into it
i've heard very good things about taking on the role of designated trip-sitter and how it's very beneficial to everyone involved, so it was awesome to hear you talk about it. if i'm in a situation like that i'll certainly offer to do that and see how it goes.
It's not bad people that take drugs it's the drugs that change their attitude my sister was addicted to many drugs at 14 and took her 7 to 8 yrs to be clean she's as sweet as the day is warm.
As someone who was on oxys, benzos, fentanyl, morphine, adderall, nervestimulants that enhances the effect of said drug's above If you absolutely do not need it, do not take it. Please. I'm on subutex now, I went through it. but I cannot remember the majority of YEARS of my life. Its scary seeing pictures not knowing where you were, why you were there, who you were with and so on. And the scariest shit is I know I could end up deep in it again, once an addict, always an addict, it changes your brain.
As an opiate addict who's been off the needle for 15 years, I really appreciate the PSA. You're a good egg Tugg. I'm a victim of DARE. It contributed heavily in me becoming an iv-addict. Never tell kids half-truths.

Have you published or do you know of any good primary sources about how DARE leads to addiction? I feel like that's a valuable perspective to be explored.
@mistermoo7602 There are quite a few papers, numerous non-peer reviewed studies, and heaps of anecdotes from addicts. But if you're intetested in actual published papers, I'm only familiar with one called: "Assessing the effects of school based drug education: A six year analysis of DARE" by D. Rosenbaum and another name I can't recall at the moment. It shouldn't be too hard to find more. For me personally it was like with many others. I tried marijuana and since it didn't turn me in to a junkie caricature that 70s and 80s movies were full of, it put everything I was taught in to question. Psychedelics didn't make me psychotic but actually offered some benefits. So when I came on to contact with hard drugs, I had no idea that the warnings were true this time.
@JeffBenzos2006 Did I say it was? We use to fix something that's missing, physical or psychological. Dare made it seem cannabis was on the same tier as heroin. After realizing pot wasn't that bad, everything else they claimed became suspect. Made it a whole lot easier to try H.
@@mistermoo7602 It seems the yt algorithm didn't allow me to even mention the paper by name. Every attempt at answering you gets deleted. They're out there but you're going to have to search for yourself. Sry 😟
Marijuana can have psychoactive effects especially if it's laced with something else. It mostly depends on how much you smoke and your personal genetic makeup. But it can cause hallucinations and acute psychosis in some cases.
Weed absolutely makes me see things that are not there, absolutely and without a question. I get a laugh out of people telling me it doesent do that because im speaking from experience. Now im not saying that means it should be prohibited, im also not saying it was necessarily *bad* the few times its happened, like it would have obviously been insanely unsafe for me to drive or something like that, but the stuff i was seeing was generally just fun and goofy. but it does need to be acknowledged it does happen
Oooooh geeez, you just reminded me about that time I was in the psyche ward and they brought a guy in who’d removed his own eyes with a spoon. He had a 24-7 attendant to teach him how to deal with being blind. I mean…some people just shouldn’t do drugs.

Legit the best anti drug video I've ever seen! And I used to BE one of the PPO's! (Still not sure what it stands for lol but I get the idea) I have been clean for 3 years now and I feel so blessed every day. I honestly think all teens should see this video with actual GOOD ideas of how to turn down drugs without feeling lame. Even though in all reality drugs are what is lame, I understand all too well how peer pressure is even if they are jusy using it around u and not pressing you, it's still a battle almost everyone will encounter in their life. And it's one of the most pivotal decisions u will ever make in regards to your life it really is. Thanks for this Tugg
3:06 it does! I think there are some people who get the hallucinations and some who don't. Even on low doses I usually get hallucinations. For me the hallucinations start a few minutes after the peak with a feeling of seeing every color at the same time (similar to how acids starts for me). Then random noises around me start becoming melodic and some time after I get a video fitting to these noises on top of my vision but not overlapping my vision (not the way LSD does). The same way you see a pink elephant in front of you when you imagine it but less controllable. And then you start focusing more and more into the imagined video and reality becomes increasingly less important even though you can still see the reality as it doesn't get overlapped. One example, a few months ago I smoked a joint with a friend and we made pizza afterwards. My friend was somewhere else and I was chilling in a chair in the kitchen, the oven noise became more and more melodic and then I saw myself walking trough a busy park. The oven noises turned into crowds of people talking. It got increasingly more intense and at some point it became a music video filmed in a dark location with neon lights moving with the beat and a singer in the middle of the video who didn't even sing, he just made music video movements idk. Weed affects everyone a bit differently, maybe there is some mutation that makes these hallucinations possible but not everyone has it. 3:25 Deliriants if you're lucky, but they are probably the most harmful drug category that exists, the community stays small because members of this community who are actively participating in the consumption don't survive for long, I don't think that's an exaggeration, most famous people in the community are dead.
Most of the time you'll see the shadow people and get thrown in the backrooms while on Deliriants. Or worse see bugs crawl out of u. I don't get how people can handle that, or even find it fun. Some people truly be built different
as someone who suffers from PTSD caused by overdose, weed can and will make you trip fucking balls if enough is used at once. i remember distinctly my trip going as follows: everything turned into a slideshow. i started seeing red, i was fighting to turn everything back to a normal color with my mind. the more things turned red the more i imagined myself grabbing a knife and stabbing everyone i loved in my house. then everything turned into kaleidoscopes within kaleidoscopes. audio was repeating and every twist and turn of my vision was painful. it wasnt just a visual. i felt every bend around me. id come to, and freak out and scream and cry, my roommate was holding me close saying its going to be ok. until it started spinning and twisting again. it lasted about 5 hours and it felt like 10. since then my body has been hypersensitive to any smell similar to weed. and i have to take hard medication to suppress chemicals in my brain to avoid panic attacks. it ruined two years of my life and continues to affect me to this day, though not as much now that i have gotten the help i needed.
Confounding variable: they could have taken bath salts and such at a different point in their life. Isolating cannabinoids is nonsensical. All the people who smoke and don’t turn into killers will never be used as an example.
I love psychedelics but I definitely understand why ppl fear them, after having quite a few bad trips I will say that you would want to avoid that experience at all costs

what weed is actually like, from somebody whos smoked weed: 1. you zone out of reality as if your trying to think of something but you dont realize your in a deep thought then reality shifts back to normal then this repeats constantly 2. you think about the universe really hard trapped in this state of zoning in and out 3. existential crisis 4. food seems really good 5. you realize its been 5 hours when youve lost all concept of time and to you it felt like either infinity or 30 minutes 6. really chill and calm 7. wanna do silly things while high 8. the constant zoning in and out makes it hard to speak ect but when you do the things and get them over with it feels really easy (you basically auto pilot everything) think about that then times it by 10... yeah its that amazing
Believe it or not the “unicorns and rainbows” drugs have been highly contested for their medicinal purposes recently. I knew a guy who fixed his PTSD by himself on mushrooms with a RUclips video. The psychedelic drugs are rarely addictive and if used in correct doses in controlled environments can produce some surprising results
@@Doylie4122 that’s true, but these drugs don’t cause physical dependence like alcohol or nicotine. Plus they have like a built-in cool down. Immediately after the trip if you take another right away it’ll be as if you took a quarter of your original dose but after 2 weeks or so you’ll be back to normal, so that discourages a lot of psychological addiction potential
Not saying, you should take it, that depends on your state of mind, your mental health history, and weather or not u want to. I’m just saying they’re not the villain the media makes them appear. And if you correctly (in moderation and therapeutic settings) they can be incredibly beneficial.

Weed is helpful in moderation. I typically smoke twice a week, except when I'm PMSing and then it's just a full week (autism and PMS don't mix well, kids). Taking it for my PMS has also helped me get better at predicting when my period starts! It's a matter of tracking your habits and being mindful. Also, Tugg, visual hallucinations are more common with mushrooms. I have those occasionally as well, but that’s for spiritual reasons.

In junior high we had something similar to the dare program (I'm from the Balkans so things are a little different here) And all I can remember is how frustrated I was with the person that came to "educate" us She asked if there are different kinds of drugs, to which I responded with yes She then made me elaborate I told her that there are "light" drugs such as weed that is usually non addictive and "heavy" drugs such as heroin that have intense side effects and are very addictive (I had no idea meth existed at that age) And then she publicly humiliated me in front of my class for my answer and told us that all drugs are the same and just as bad

The thing about hallucinations and weed is true. In fact i guess it depends a little on the person and the dosage but mostly even in higher higher doses you dont start to see crazy shit. I have to add tho: If you start to take psychedelics, especially like LSD, DMT, 5-meo-dmt and stuff, you brain changes so much that in fact the high you get from weed changes a lot. In fact, ever since i took LSD for the first time (took mushrooms before a lot, didn't have an impact) my perception of weed changed so much that now if i take high doses of Cannabis, it actually somewhat feels like a psychedelic trip with very subtile visual hallucinations.
I have a nightmare disorder where my brain decides to make up a new horror movie every night. When I found out weed stops you from dreaming, well I’ll just say some nights now I feel better rested. Please don’t tell my secret, I’d burned at the steak in my conservative town…

This video reminds me of the time my school had everyone take a test, and it was one where they said to answer honestly. It was asking if we've used anything like [bath salts, other things like that] and i clicked yes on the bath salts because i thought they meant putting it in the bath to help with joint pain, but now i don't think they meant that, and now i have that on my record probably, thats going to haunt me for the rest of my days qwq
There's no record, those things are anonymous but they are used to make up statistics so the number of people who use bath salts amongst your age range is now slightly off. With the amount of people who just lie, checking "yes" ironically probably actually helped to make the end results more accurate, even if by only a very small percentage lol

Not to get serious on a tugg video but one of my best friends died from coke laced with fentanyl, so I appreciate you addressing that issue. You can always get kits to test your drugs so I encourage you all to do that
(Edit: For those of you saying "Or just don't do drugs" what I mean by I encourage you all to test your drugs, is if you are already going to do the drugs, might as well be safer- harm reduction. The best option is obviously to not do the drugs of course, but if you're going to partake or if you have an addiction, please be safe and when you're ready know that there is help out there)
Also, if one is partaking in coke or meth and you get sleepy, STOP, it's not supposed to do that and could be caused by fentanyl contamination.

That's great, keep it up.
A blunt is always in their hands.
phones can be an addiction and its not something you ingested. Its behavior.

[quick grammar edit]
Okay, I'm sorry you're the comment section I'm going off in, but it seemed apt tbh. So here's the drug education i wish i could give everyone (American centric obv)
First, my credentials for speaking on this topic: i currently smoke and grow weed legally, but did not actually smoke weed until i was 28 years old.
There is a common misconception that poor people are more likely to do drugs, but in this day and age, I don't imagine it will surprise anyone to hear the accurate version is simply "poor people are easier to arrest."
On this same topic, you know Sherlock Holmes?
I mean, grossly oversimplifying, this is already an essay lmao
The point is, the only drugs that are illegal are drugs who's main "purpose" is fun.
If you got nothing else from this rant, get this:
As your gay aunt who smokes weed and rescues animals, if anyone offers you drugs and you say no, and they do not accept that no?

Make sure you go into it with a healthy mind, no significant stress, trauma etc that you're actively ignoring or blocking out (Because it often WILL make you face and address those things, and unless you surrender to it, lie back and go with the current, if you fight it then you're going to be in for a rough ride.)
And research trip killers, psychedsubstance is a good resource.
DON'T DO OPIATES, METH, CRACK, (To be honest, avoid cocaine too, there's so much fentanyl out there it's not worth the risk and besides if you wanted to chain smoke cigarettes and talk bullshit & make "billion dollar business plans" with total strangers just go hang out at the Stock Market....though now I think about it, they've DEFINITELY got plenty of cocaine down there also...Just avoid it! lol)
Explore yourself, your mind, just remember you only get one body, one mind and one life, value and treasure it.

I mean I do edibles regularly but it's mostly for pain. I've known people who can't do anything without getting high and it makes me sad 😢
All that matters is a persons ability to help a corporation generate profit. Intelligence is measured at the bank.
you are allowed to be bored dude, you don't have to do something purposeful 24/7.

I AM THE BEANHOLE MAN
This is my first video outside of short form content that I have experienced via him and it is a pleasure
Second thing-I have, for numerous reasons, one of which is fear of the law, been terrified of trying non prescription drugs. One of my deep seated fears is not being able to know what’s going on around me, and for my perception of my environment to be compromised. Recently, one of my parents came across an article headline saying ‘some hallucinogens can be used to treat something-or-other-I-don’t-remember, but can be dangerous for certain individuals and cause things like permanent psychosis’ and was like ‘oof, not for us, since your grandfather had bipolar disorder, we are some of the people who would be at risk.’ And I was like ‘damn, that’s scary that something pretty harmless for some people can just fuck up someone’s brain so badly.’
Later, hanging out with my brother, I mentioned that text interaction. And he said ‘oh yeah, that’s what happened to [one of his childhood best friends]’ and I just stopped walking. ‘What?’ ‘Yeah, he can’t live on his own, his family has to take care of him full time. Fortunately they’re well-off and they care about him.’
But like.

I’ve lost countless friends, been in and out of prison, did things I’ll never be forgiven for, wasted my entire life, drove away a beautiful amazing loyal woman, overdosed, brain barely functioning, yeah don’t do drugs.
I am 18 have done meth there you go
3:06 it does!

The scariest part about the Miami Cannibal- the toxicology report did not find bath salts, not meth, not spice, but just good old cannabinoids 😂😬😬
I thought it was weed plus PCP I've heard those two don't mix lots of infant murder for some reason.
I do belive he might have been having a psycosis if thats true
Confounding variable: they could have taken bath salts and such at a different point in their life. Isolating cannabinoids is nonsensical.
All the people who smoke and don’t turn into killers will never be used as an example.
people do the sme without weed lol not relted

what meds
what weed is actually like, from somebody whos smoked weed:
1. you zone out of reality as if your trying to think of something but you dont realize your in a deep thought then reality shifts back to normal then this repeats constantly
2. you think about the universe really hard trapped in this state of zoning in and out
3. existential crisis
4. food seems really good
5. you realize its been 5 hours when youve lost all concept of time and to you it felt like either infinity or 30 minutes
6. really chill and calm
7. wanna do silly things while high
8. the constant zoning in and out makes it hard to speak ect but when you do the things and get them over with it feels really easy (you basically auto pilot everything)
think about that then times it by 10... yeah its that amazing
it’s absolutely different for everyone
obviously not everyone's is the same but you just describe my experience perfectly!
@@digitaldiamondx6773 but yes this is for sure very similar to how i experience as well maybe just a few different things

Most hallucinogens like mushrooms, acid, etc will absolutely make you see insane shit including rainbows and unicorns
Literally everything in this world can become addictive
@@Doylie4122 that’s true, but these drugs don’t cause physical dependence like alcohol or nicotine. Plus they have like a built-in cool down. Immediately after the trip if you take another right away it’ll be as if you took a quarter of your original dose but after 2 weeks or so you’ll be back to normal, so that discourages a lot of psychological addiction potential
Not saying, you should take it, that depends on your state of mind, your mental health history, and weather or not u want to. I’m just saying they’re not the villain the media makes them appear. And if you correctly (in moderation and therapeutic settings) they can be incredibly beneficial.
in colorado its legal medically to treat ptsd if i remember correctly
so...who cares? We're not talking "overweight guy is addicted to food" or "lady can't stop buying eyeliner so she's addicted to makeup."
non-addictive means "you won't be fighting for your life like with nicotine or alcohol if you try to stop using it."
Why try and bring up the inherent addictiveness of all things, just to try to keep saying certain non-addictive drugs are totally-addictive-for-real-you-guys? It's a silly way of arguing the topic, and it doesn't mean much when discussing addiction.@@Doylie4122

I have no idea how drugs work and I've recently started trying to take back control over how i consume media and this video sent down a rabbit hole of trying to learn how drugs actually work, thank you big tugg for this very good video
"Seriously, don't do drugs!"
*me, taking a hit of lung lettuce* yeah, kids, don't do drugs
In junior high we had something similar to the dare program (I'm from the Balkans so things are a little different here)
And all I can remember is how frustrated I was with the person that came to "educate" us
She asked if there are different kinds of drugs, to which I responded with yes
She then made me elaborate
I told her that there are "light" drugs such as weed that is usually non addictive and "heavy" drugs such as heroin that have intense side effects and are very addictive (I had no idea meth existed at that age)
And then she publicly humiliated me in front of my class for my answer and told us that all drugs are the same and just as bad
she’s wrong lol

5:55 why did this whole part describe me (except for molly) I feel called out

Counterpoint: they taste good if you ingest them wrong enough
So is watching RUclips lmao just saying
9:54 There is a reason why GTA6 is taking place in Miami, Florida
I think it’s because the are technically a psychedelic. But I agree it doesn’t make sense to me either. 3:20

It's okay Tugg, I was doing drugs long before this video dropped today so my drug use has nothing to do with this video lol
Why do we have to wait. We want the video NOW Mr. Big!
Big is an honorific. His full name is Tugg
The media will tell you if drugs are good or bad depending on who is selling them
Why didnt anyone tell me this before i got addicted 😭
As someone who wears pajamas in public, being a parent is tiring and pj's are comfortable 😅
