      It's so bizarre! Like 18650 but 0.1mm smaller each

    It must have cost to have these special size cells made. I'd be interested in the actual measured capacity of the cells too.

      Unfortunately they have all gone now, this video is about a year old from my back catalogue 😪

    Strange implementation, why even step down the voltage and why not to use balance wires.

      Very good questions. To keep the cost of assembly down? Would you trust a brand that penny pinches to that degree?

      Heinzmann were generally regarded as a really good brand, bmz is a huge company also... But I agree, it's weird

    I have run a 15s1p pack with no balance, checked it yesterday after approx 1000 charges, all cells well within tolerance.
    I charge to 63v and never run below 54v.
    20ah eig cells. Great for hgh power ebikemy max draw is 55amp burst
