I love how the Blu scout and the Red scout look the tiniest bit different. Just to show they aren’t “clones”. Just a slight touch I liked.

@@Matchlatch animation takes a long time, im glad we got a two parter rather than having to wait even longer for the whole thing, gives this feeling of anticipation, and that feeling when the second episode finnaly drops MMMMM
Ok really quick love how sweet and amazing this series is but that scene with pyro though 12:42 .., hallucinating about everything being wholesome and magical (as usual), having a jolly ol time with the spy and pootis looking like they walked out of a disney movie...and having that fantasy stripped away after he sees himself in the reflection of the tea gave me a few chills. The music getting cut right at that moment was perfectly executed as well, yanked me right out of the fantasy as well like shit man. That scene was so well executed for no god damn reason and that's epic as hell.

I love the little details in the shot with the mercs' rooms
For starters, they've all got different handwritings - Engie's is small and simple, yet neat. And it has a little smily face too (so does his note in Pyro's room, which is frankly adorable)
Demo writes in cursive and the letters are y'know... "drunkishly" slanted lmao
Pyro's handwriting is reminiscent of that of a young child
And Heavy's is a bit sloppy but hey, have you seen this guy's hands?
And it's not just the handwriting. Engie's got a locket that looks like he designed it himself, Demo's got a package from acme (probably some cartoonish-looking dynamites), Pyro should really get around to mopping up that gasoline puddle (but hey, at least they're a surprisingly good artist) and finally, Heavy has a "knock"sign, dude ain't gonna mock around
Yeah, and with how their self-portrait matches their real appearance, that means they can draw true-to-life artwork.
the detail is amazing though medibird is rather than medic in tf2 is and medic is how most people see medic
Could the pyro being a good artist be a reference to the video pyro paints?
@@LucasGleason Well, it could be partially inspired by that video, since Pyro enjoying drawing/coloring/painting is a wildly accepted headcanon which I'm pretty sure existed before the aforementioned gmod video. Or maybe I'm wrong, who knows
This animation is just filled to the brim with details and literal works of art. From medimedes appearing when Scout wakes up and blinks, to even the BLU Scout design matching the colder climate and showing that the RED and BLU teams are not just exact clones. It is also amazing how different the animation was from episode 1 and how you improved! An overall fantastic animation, can't wait for this new season!
The fact that medimedes was completely creeped out by Pyro when trying to kill scout even though Pyro themselves wasn't probably even looking at him is hilarious
I am questioning why … medimedis must have seen pyro do some terrifying stuff I wish we can see pyro a lot more since they are an amazing character

I said it before, and I will say it again. This series is an excellent example of silent storytelling. Along with the banger art style, this series goes hard. (Yes, I know there are sub-titles; I am just marveling at the fact that they are entirely optional.)

Pyro is incredibly cute, badass and horrifying all at the same time.
I also love that Pootis is making Medimedes rethink his evil ways. Medimedes is gonna have a Zuko arc, I'm calling it.

@@boo1boot261 It's just a nod to that. Medimedes is on the blu team and probably designed by blu. Since they specialize in engineering. And probably programmed medimedes to have red as an KOS (Kill On Site) target
We don't know this. It could be keeping him happy is easier than dealing with the trouble of stopping him from being sad
But...medimedes should be know scout is a caring person like other episode and when he want to trap scout with fake pootis,and medimedes accidentaly trapped pootis instead because he just hate scout when he grabbed medimedes,plus medimedes likes weapon

I really like how both teams have differences based on their team color, such as skin tone and where they live. Like I love that red team lives on an apple orchard!
Love the touch of Blu team having a more cold environment than Red team.

fun fact! the red and blue teams have deliverate different styles, red resembling a more country farm aspect and blue being more industrial
this can be appreciated in the lighting (red having more natural light and blue using fluorescents) building materials (wood vs metal) and even their logos!

@@Microphone_man_hendrik not quite. In the lore of the pair it appears that the blu soldier and the red demoman are actually good friends. Therefore, this demo isn’t agreeing with medic’s theory because he knows it’s not true.

Ik I'm a little late, but the Pyros transition from Real vision to Pyro vision was honestly hilarious, and extremely creative. I love it.
I love how all of this was made from someone editing Heavy’s audio saying, “Put dispenser here!”

This is a brilliant example of peak storytelling and the glory of the TF2 community. You have an amazing grasp on the lore, the characters, and have a love for all of them! I also adore Medimedes and Pootis-especially how they care for each other, even if Medimedes doesn’t realize it yet. They are the cutest little couple! This is incredible! This is the success of valve, none of their games will die, valve gives us everything that is related to the game, the program that they made trailers, the program that they made maps and all the rights and stuff to make people keep the game alive. Their games are not owned by one company which is valve, its owned by us. Half life, portal, left 4 dead, team fortress, counter strike, day of defeat. These are all OUR games, not valves games. We create the content while other modern game developers are trying their best create content to their fans and keep the game alive while valve does almost nothing and their games are alive no matter how damn old their games are. And the games are also very cheap! The best way to spend money on steam is to buy valve complete pack when it is on sale and anyone that doesnt do this is stupid(i dont care if this last sentence is offensive to you).

Medic and heavy. the perfect combo, apparently that apply to birds to lol.
At 4:21 you can see that Engineer has framed a crayon drawing that Pyro made depicting them as friends (along some incomprehensible words written above the drawing)
Love the attention to detail there.
This series has been a row of wholesome emotions, so much work got put into this and the results were marvelous since the very beginning, you must be very proud! We'll all cherish this episodes as yet another fantastic piece of artwork for this game. The details and the design was impeccable, really happy to have been here since the beginning!

Its sad to probably expect no more Pootis episodes in the future but this series is amazing anyway. I want to go over a few key moments that I particularly liked.

12/10. Its Frigin crazy that this was done by one person. Genuinely love your work dawg. Its been forever since I’ve seen the mercs just hanging out, so this really fills a gap left empty for what has been years. Can’t wait to see where It goes from here. Also I really liked the scoring and songs used really give it a kinda homey fun vib.

I think it’s supposed to show how quickly pyro was yanked from their fantasy world hallucinations and was reminded of reality due to their actual reflection. They may not have been able to process it properly and stared off.

The art style matches each character and their unique look, Without a single word every character speaks loud and clear what they're doing, The world feels alive and exciting and full of energy and a little bit of chaoticness, And each episode feels like a new adventure with lil pootis, the mercs and his friends. I would love to see you get proper attention as this Quality of work isnt usual to come by, Even though the wait is long, It always feels rewarding to sit down and enjoy your animations. I hope your family, the people who properly know you are very proud of you and your talented works. Excellent job.

Amazing series finale! I like how this episode shows a compilation of pootis and medimedes doing different stuff which also shows the expanded world there are in. Also love how we can see more into the mercs lives and the new relationship between pootis and medimedes. Your animation has greatly improved and the cliffhanger at the end was amazing. Great work!

I love the background detail that Engie takes off the gunslinger and has a stump in the beach scene and the Pyrovision was animated like Willy Wonka and Alice in Wonderland while the reality of the situation makes it disturbing. I also like how Medimedes has this Wily Coyote-esque goal of murdering his current owner so much so that he traumatized Olivia Mann
