  • Pyrography Textures #6 For woodturners and wood burners. In this video I explain how to burn the ‘fish scale’ pattern.
This pattern looks great on either turned objects or for flat decorative pyrography work.
Part if this demo explains how to shade smoothly.
This pattern can be burnt using both solid point and wire point burners

The video and project are great but the perfectly clear instruction and narration are amazing. It's like a master class in wood burning.

Nice work. I will be taking my pyrography business on the road when my wife and I hit the road in our RV full time this summer.

Hej Sue, I love your videos. They are really helpful ( I just discovered the joy of pyrographie).
Would you show us the pen you are using? I bought a Weldinger, but it's hard to find different tips for it here in Germany, so I'm thinking about purchasing an additional model.

That's a great video, thanks for posting it. What do you use to scrape with at the end?

No worries:) You can use anything to scrape at the end as long as its sturdy and sharp. I usually use a snap blade but in this case I had a carbide tip handy so I used it.
