Great flip-through. I have never used guides like these but now want to check them out. We are reading Tom Sawyer as part of our Read Alouds list for 2023-2024. We are HUGE Harry Potter fans! Lots of useful activities are packed into these guides. Thank you for sharing!
I really appreciate this video. We used one last year during the holidays and plan get some more this year to use as spines for literature unit studies throughout the year.
Thank you for doing this video! I'm always on the lookout for good literature guides. We love using them for additional activities/discussion questions.
You do such a great job on your reviews! My only struggle as a Christian mom would be, I couldn’t teach my children from books about witchcraft😬. Harry Potter , The Witch of Blackbird Pond ect. I know most don’t see a problem with it. It just doesn’t align with my Christian values.😊
Thanks for sharing this video! I appreciate tips on how to use these literature guides effectively. I especially like your suggestion to look for guides that include pre-reading activities, vocabulary, and discussion questions. These features can really help to enhance the reading experience and make it more engaging.
WOW! This is amazing, SO thankful I have been looking for readers, guides for my kids but nothing really has stuck out to me untill now. WHat a great vlog! We also watch a movie when we find one. Aways find it better when the books are older classics!
I think these are really helpful. I'm amazed that you have lots of them. It shows that you are an extensive readers and you're teaching your kids to be the same. 🤩
These are so helpful. You have inspired me alot. I'm not books reading person, I'm more visual. But I know being parents you take care of everything. And I'm looking forward to do this in future. God bless 💐💜
Thanks for sharing these:) This year after going back and forth, I opted to stick with what we are using for literature, but I will be looking into some of these for next school term. I know a few publishers, but I learned a few new ones from your video. Thank you!
Gréât vidéo. I’m always wondering if we need to incorporate lit guides. We have tried memoria press before though. Our oldest didn’t enjoy it. Do you use it solely for reading comprehensive or in addition to? Do you use a separate literature program as well?
Some books I feel are enhanced with a study guide/literature guide. I choose guides on a case by case basis. I don’t use a separate literature program because the geography and writing curriculum we use has so many rich reading books. 🌻
Hi! I did a quick search and found some available on websites. There were a handful on Amazon. Your local homeschooling or teacher store might even have them. That’s where I found mine.🌻
I have never heard of this company before, maybe they don't make the grades we need at the moment..... but I would love to know where you bought your curriculum? So far I just get mine off of ebay, amazon, or Rainbow Resources
These guides are from a variety of companies. I found most of them at a local new/used school resource store. I purchase curriculum online and locally and from conventions. Is there a particular one you’re looking for? 🌻
Im glad I’m not the only one that wants to collect all the literature guides! I haven’t heard of several of these, thanks for sharing!

Where can I find the Portals to Reading Series? I think that format would work well for my daughter.
