Never understood why ‘mylo’ was not developed into a single, its probably one of marillions, most melodic and accessible pieces, and my favourite section (along with childhoods end) from the MC album.

I always wondered why 'Tux On' was a B sided single, (Sugar Mice) it should have been on the album.

+David Hunter Wasn't it just! Such a privilege to see and hear the album played in it's entirety, especially in such an intimate venue. Icing on the cake was briefly meeting Steve afterwards and getting a photo with him. Great night!

Lovely band all in all, but strangely I was more interested in meeting Matt Stevens and get him to sign my guitar, as I've spoke to all of SRB before. Yatim did grab me for his Panic Roomies photos though!! :-)

Steve Rothery is a great guitarist no doubt. Marrilion without him isn't Marillion. Just like Marillion isn't Marillion without Fish.

Marillion is better without Fish. Although he was a good lyricist, he was not a particularly good singer.

They really wshould've take a new name. Nathan is right, Marillion has gone once they departed, it cannot exist without any of them.

The singer, Martin, is so amazing.
during "Vocals under bloodlight/passing stranger" resemble Fish so much. Rothery is effortless and plays perfectly, but let me telll you... The drummer is so so so so Boring and slow. During those titles i mentioned ruined everything, no Snare drums, no toms, and the rythm sounds very slower then the "original". seems even worse than a current mosley in bad shape evening.
What a waste! This album had an amazing powerful drumming, like this is a soft album. not for me. :(

i recently saw fish on the 31st anniversary, i thought it wasn't very
good. The whole thing was downtuned because he can't sing the same
anymore, the keyboards and the leads / solos were different, I just
thought whats the point, i'd rather listen to the album, think i would have preferred this.

Yeah it's sad. Fish was never a great singer, more a vocalist, but he didn't really look after his voice. It's a shame. THese songs don't sound the same without him.

I'm going to see fish in December, my last chance to see a legend I suppose, still listening to all the fish marillion albums, not expecting too much if I'm honest

No mames Steve es el alma y fish el corazón. Sin ellos marillion no es genial.

This is sad. Rothery is a great guitarist, but this era of Marillion without Fish is like a wish sandwich. A wish sandwich is when yo have 2 pieces of bread and yo wish you had some meat. Bow wowowow.
