Can’t take a second gunner unless you take 1 sorcerer and 5 rubrics. You have to have 4 rubrics selected for the team before you can select a second gunner. Which would make 5 rubrics and a sorcerer.
Did not expect a 2/4/0 loadout on Warpcoven, but you played this game well, just being unlucky in TP3. Maybe 3/3/0 would have done better. Thank for a great batrep guys! Hope to see more WC in the future
Can you use buring advance like that? Burning advance specifically says preform a dash and then a shoot action, i dont think it would let you guard, which is a separate action that counts you as having shot
You absolutely can swap out any ability that lets you shoot for a guard action, this including's abilities like bolter discipline or dakka dash. Note that if it specifies a weapon, you must shoot with that weapon, such as with bolter discipline. Can be a pretty useful trick This is alluded to in the close quarters FAQ for sauce
@@boerhcauldur1873 I would argue that 2 or 3 sorcerers and rest Tzaangors is the best learning set up for this team. With full marine team you are lacking room for mistakes and bad plays as you really cannot lose any piece outside maybe the normal rubric marine without either incapacitating key opponents or scoring ton of VP or achieving other goal you set for him on start. Now do not get me wrong, I do not have any Tzaangors as money do not grow on trees, but I used my Neophyte Cultists as proxy.
I don't have either I'm afraid. I've never played this team and that's good to know that maybe that's the way to go with building the team. My issue still comes with that box is that it has 1 sorc, marines, and the zangers. I guess as a type this it's not a terrible buy just to have a team on the field until I can buy the other 2 sorcs that are the better build.
Correct! As long as they die within 2 inches from the center of that objective marker. Which I played it wrong haha, I should have not score the 2nd VP from it

You can't take two rubric gunners and two sorcerers. The second gunner has to be your fifth rubric.
Warpcoven needs some lovin'
No man they are right on this one: You cannot select a second GUNNER operative until your kill team includes four RUBRIC MARINE operatives.
Yeah...exactly. 4 rubrics plus 1 extra gunner equals 5 rubrics.
If you interpret that as "this operative can't be included until you already count it as being included" ... Tzeentch must be playing tricks on ya

Yeah sorcerers are not rubrics. That's Tsons 101

What a Great battle report! Love it!
Never heard anyone pronounce ecclesiasticus like that, was certainly one of the ways you can say that word haha
Pond here, yeah these novitiates kick my butt. Haha 🤣
@@2CasualYT DW I'm the same way, all the special names give you a headache by the end of the game lol
Right haha 😆
Damn those are nicely painted rubric marines

I want a warp coven kill team so bad! But nobody wants to sell the parts lol
Just buy the Combat Patrol.
It doesn't have the sorc
And the zangors suck rn
It's not worth the money

Great game and excellent production
