what a kind, genuine person he is. hozier has such a gentle energy to him, i could listen to him talk for literal ages. i saw him live a bit more than a month ago and it was absolutely the best concert i've ever been to. he talked about the meaning of Francesca there, too, and i think it's such a beautiful re-interpretation of her appearance in the divine comedy. i love how genuinely humble and down-to-earth he is, i will never forget that at the end of the show i went to, he took the time to personally thank every single person who was in any way part of his performance, be it his band, the technicians, the tour manager, he gave everyone a personal shoutout. that's really stuck with me since then because it really shows how hozier takes none of this for granted and i feel like every time he thanked you guys for anything during this interview, he really meant it. he just seems like such a genuinely good human and that's wonderful because we really can't have enough of those :')

There is pure poetry in this album. The ability that this man has to leave me a puddle of tears when I hear so many of his songs in unmatched.
There's a family of Gleason actors. Love them all. Domhall is a son. Brendan is dad. I look for films with any Gleason. Brendan is in the film In Bruges... hilarious and dark. A favorite.
