I once fell on my butt while walking down some stairs and the steps were so narrow that I continued sliding down the remaining stairs until I hit the floor at the bottom. Everyone saw it happen and as I was sliding down the stairs I started to laugh because I pictured what it looked like in my head.
I was on a date, with my now husband out in nature and I walked over to the edge of a hill to take a photo of the scenery and I slipped and rolled down the hill! It’s the spot my husband proposed to me 😂
Falling stories are even better when you have an audience. Here's mine: A few years back, some friends and I went on a weekend trip to Chicago, and we decided to make a stop at a well-known skyscraper that has a series of small observation decks at the top. The decks are essentially glass boxes that jut out of the side of the building and give you really amazing views of the city. While there, I was determined to recreate a photo I'd seen on Instagram of a woman doing a handstand inside one of the boxes, so I waited in line, gave my phone to a friend, and pushed myself up into a handstand when it was my turn to step onto the observation deck. Problem was, my palms were sweaty, so they slipped out from under me, and I face-planted onto the glass floor of the deck in font of everyone in line behind me. Mortified but not deterred, I tried again, this time with dry hands. It worked, my friend snapped a picture, and my earlier embarrassment was totally worth getting to see Chicago, upside down, from 103 stories in the air.
When we were kids, me and my sister used to climb onto the wardrobe and jump onto the bed. One time though, for some reason, she decided to jump UPWARDS. She full speed smacked into the ceiling and then rebounded onto the floor. I can still hear the thump thump as she hit both surfaces. 😂😂😂
During college I worked in a BBQ restaurant. I always worked Sunday mornings during the “after church” lunch rush (I live in the southern US so you can imagine how crowded it was). I was running food, which we carried out on these massive sheet-metal style platters, and someone had spilled the smallest amount of their drink onto our slick concrete floors without telling anyone. I went down with 4 plates of bbq. Ribs went flying. Piping hot Brunswick stew spilled all down my leg. BBQ sauce everywhere. Restaurant was packed, but went silent as it happened. One of my most horrifying memories as a server.
the other day, i was at the mall with my friends and we went outside to sit for a bit 'cause it was nice and sunny and a few meters across from us there was like this big glass wall from the back of one of the stores and we could see a kid playing inside while the mom was browsing through the clothes nearby, we were bored so we were just staring at the kid playing and at one point the kid turned towards the big glass wall and almost abruptly ran into it and slammed head first against the glass 😭😭 it was the funniest thing I've witnessed in a while lmaoo
for falling stories: on my first day at University halls me and my new housemates decided to go on a walk through the campus and chat and get to know each other, midway through the walk I stepped on a manhole cover and the lid promptly flipped, and swallowed one of my legs !! they all had to help lift me out ! what an embarrassing first impression hahah x loving the build ! :)
In PE class, I once managed to step ona basketball while I was jogging around, almost did a split, fell on my butt, and started laughing uncontrolebly 'cause I pictured the scene in my head and it just looked hillarious !
I've had a lovely fall in my time. I was walking to meet my friends with bags of Christmas presents. I'd just finished overtime, it was December so it was dark. Popped into the shop to grab a quick dirty sausage roll, and thought I'll nip over the back way to their place, which is basically an almost completely unlit, unpaved potholed walk of death. Being savvy, I thought, I'll switch on the torch on my phone til I'm nearly at the bit with the streetlights, which I did. Avoided every pothole, every dip, happily munching the sausage roll. As I neared the illuminated bit, I dropped my guard, thought I'll pop this wrapper in the bin under the streetlamp. I was so focused on that as I picked up speed, I forgot there is a long granite slab, about the size of a coffin, to stop cars going down through that way, which was still in the darkness. I hit it at quite a pace and literally went from vertical to horizontal in one move. Bags of presents up in the air, no time to make a sound. As I got up, I spotted a man with a toddler in a pram, who had watched the whole thing. "Are you okay, anything hurt?" he asked as I shuffled past. "No, just my pride" I managed. Thank God for winter padding! Also, sidenote...hilarious celebrity falls. Nobody outdoes Gemma Collins. Whether it's through a trap door on a stage at a teen awards show, or flat on her face on a ice-based dance competition show, she falls with all the grace of a dropped trifle and it is funny AF every time
So it’s currently 12:23am here in the Midwest, and I took my adhd meds to late so I’m currently deep cleaning my kitchen. Of course with my AirPods in, watching your videos because the commentary is just my favorite! ANYWAYS, point of this comment… I’m cleaning my dishwasher filter, and all of a sudden I hear you say edge you a little bit more, IMMEDIATELY SHOT MY EYES OVER TO THE VIDEO AND THEN YOU SAID TIGHTER AND my mind went to all the good places!!! I was at a festival in a national park a few years back, and my friends & I were having a picnic at the top of a really high, steep hill. When we were done packing up, the grass was still dewy from the rainy day before. I slipped on the grass, TUPPANCE LITERALLY OUT (was wearing a skirt), and SLID ALL THE WAY DOWN THE HILL like it was a slip n' slide. In front of a large crowd. Still my most mortifying, yet hilarious story to date. My friends still like to remind me of that one every once in awhile hahah
The movie theater in the town I grew up in has a wall full of windows at the front. When I was around 5, my mom and older sister took me to see a kid’s movie. I decided to race my sister to the car afterwards and ran full speed into the window. Hit it so hard that my little flip flops flew off when I fell back. My mom said she and my sister were in tears laughing so hard 😂
I didn't fall down, but I did fall backwards in an office chair at my desk once. Decided I would get comfy and prop my feet on the bed and the chair said, "Nope! I was on a first date with a guy and we went out for coffee. I was a little nervous and tripped over my own 2 feet and face planted into the glass door of the cafe. Needless to say my skirt I was wearing flew up also and everyone had a good look. It was also lunchtime so the cafe was very busy. Also I adore your videos. I love this build Aden! Its so different from something I might build but its just perfect for this area of San Myshuno. I usually struggle with my historical style and this skywalk area. Also, I would love to visit this cafe/bar in real life.
I spectacularly fell off my bike into a ditch straight into a giant bush of stinging nettles once as a kid, at the time i cried a lot and was in pain for days all covered in cream, but in retrospect that was pretty hilarious. More recently i stacked it in a club, middle of the dance floor... saved the drink though.
I love the touches of green and the outdoor seating. The name "Skywalk Square" is perfect for this build as I was thinking about the view and how it does look like your in the sky. Ok, I'm a Star Wars nerd too, but this build reminded me of one of the places in "Ghostwire: Tokyo". Love the down to earth tones. 🥰 Not sure if this counts as a "falling" story, but I was taking a Greyhound bus home for the holidays when I was in college. There was a sign at the station that talking about the parking lot (like not leaving cars overnight kind of stuff) and the bottom of it was as tall as my forehead. I had turned my head to see if my roommate and my then boyfriend were taking my suitcase out of the car and ran smack into the sign, slid under it and landed spread eagle on the sidewalk. I swear I must have looked like quite a sight as I was out cold for a few minutes. Had an awful concussion, but took the bus home and my parents met me and took me straight to the ER to get me checked out. I was ok in the end, but it was quite scary at the time. Looking back on it, I do think it was funny and was glad that nothing serious happened to me.
This isn't a personal story, but there's this movie called While You Were Sleeping (amazing Christmas romcom from the 90s). There's this throw-away scene in the middle of the movie where a kid delivering newspapers fully falls off his bike and the first time I watched it I laughed so hard I cried. My mother was very concerned about how funny her 9 year old thought that was 😂 I still think it's hilarious
When I was younger like around 12, 13 I had those wheely shoes. I was trying to get used to them but I started to roll down this little incline and I did a shaggy from Scooby Doo fall. Arms doing the windmill and everything. My brother cought me but I swear he was dying laughing. 😂😂
Walking my dog on a beautiful winter morning in January a couple of years ago. I stepped on a snowed over puddle, my dog decided it was time to pull on its leash and there I was watching my legs flying in the air. I must have looked like in a cartoon. My butt hurt for days. 🤣
I was one our last day of holiday packing up. The holiday home had these awful stairs that had a really narrow corner turning part. I went up the stairs grabbed a bunch of things from the kitchen and went down the stairs. I missed the super narrow turning corner step completely and slid down the rest of the stairs. I ended up fracturing my tailbone 😅
Just to give you a heads up, the tables and chairs on the balcony out the front arent equally spaced out (idk if that was a choice or not but oh well), that being said the rest of the build is top tier!!!

I was dancing in the shower and slipped, fell on the bath taps and winded myself. Luckily no other damage was done but boy did it hurt. I just laugh about it now, haha 😂
I have a falling down tale. I used to run back in high school. It was my birthday. I was in the middle of running when all of a sudden I somehow got the toe of my shoe stuck on the shoelace loop of my other one and I went flying across the sidewalk
My fall story - Went camping with my girl scout troup. We had cabins that someone stupidly decorated with window height beds. Me being the clumsy idiot i am, leaned back against what i thought would be a while wall chatting and fell straight out of a window. So glad I have never had to see those girls again!
If you enjoy people falling down, then we definitely need to be friends because I do comedy falling down on a regular basis. Once I skidded on one of those safety mats they have in the entrance to Asda (other supermarkets available) because it was all screwed up & not flat but also it was very icey out so the mat was all wet. I didn't do sensible shoes back then so I literally flew off my feet. Whole contents of my handbag fell out. Other time I did a massive fall was when I stepped out my cousin's car (we were collecting some stuff after my dad died), I put one foot out onto the car park and again bam - fell legs and hands forward on a massive patch of black ice, which was hiding a rock that most of went into my knee. Nice trip to a&e to sew my knee back up that time. But I also often fall downstairs, have had a man fall on me on an escalator, trip up over my own feet, walk into walls by accident, you name it. Growing up my parents regularly threatened to get the camera out and make themselves some cash by sending the footage to You've Been Framed! (mean!! 😱)

Now I work from home so there's less falls in public but, when I used to work at an office, I feel just turning the corner from home and had to come back to change my pants since they ended up ripping on the knees. Literally, didn't even make a whole block before falling.
I fell out of my semi (lorrie in England) and broke off the tip of my tail bone, and as soon as I got better I slipped on gravel and re-broke the same damn area again....all within a month....😮
My husband did an excellent comedy fall during our honeymoon! We came back to our room a bit pissed, and he decided to take a bath. I was watching TV in the room, when I heard a huge splash and my husband drunkenly giggling from the bathroom. I went to investigate and found water running out from under the door. Turned out, he'd massively overfilled the bath and then slipped getting in, causing a small tidal wave.

Was rushing down the corridor outside classrooms and my foot caught on something and went arse over tit. Before my brain engaged I let out a loud involuntary "SHIT" and yes the classroom doors were open 🤣 still work there now though 😊
About 5 or 6 years ago, I was at work and it had snowed. When I came out of work to go to my car, I stepped down off the sidewalk and my feet hit a patch of ice in the parking lot and just completely slid out from under me and I landed flat on my bum. The worst part of it was that my boss at the time was also going to her car and saw the whole thing happen. It was hilarious but slightly painful.
Oh I've fallen or stumbled many heckin times. I was about 15 when I tripped over my cousins dog while we were out for a walk. That was super fun. Hurt one hand and bumped the side of my head... like temple area of forehead kinda... lol. But most recently was about a week and a half ago.... my neighbors dog had gotten out and was running in the neighborhood scared. I sat on the curb of the street hoping he'd come to me if I was down at his level... (didn't help, he trotted right passed my fat ass like wtf you doin lol.) My neighbors were driving up the street to come track the dog down just as I was trying to stand up.... lost my balance and stumbled down into the grass on my knee... then stumbled again trying to get up from that lol. I'm not a small person... I am quite round.... and had to push up off the ground like a dang toddler on all fours lmao. And they're neighbors I don't even like! So that was embarrassing haha.

I broke and badly sprained my ankle right before my 21st birthday, so I was in a boot and on crutches. We went to the theatre (for the life of me I cant remember what we saw) but when we came out we saw it had downpoured and was currently still sprinkling. My mum went for the car and when she pulled it around I tried to quickly hobble my way over there. The combination of being horrid on crutches, a klutz to begin with, trying to go too fast, and the wet concrete was a disaster waiting to happen - I ended up falling on my arse. It took several people to help me up and assist me to the car. 😂
happy pride month!! 🌈🌈 so my story isnt too hilarious i guess but i was 10 and i was playing with a group of the neighborhood kids, including my little crush i had. i fell from a half wall (cause we just standing on top of it for some reason 🙄) and scrapped my shin pretty bad, i had a huge wound and i was so embarrassed but my crush came over and helped me clean it and disinfect it. it was very nice and cute. i still have the scar almost 20 years later lol.

I was in a seminar last winter and the chairs were slippery plastic ones. I had my big parka hanging over the back of the chair weirdly, which caused me to half sit on it. I wanted to discretely pull the parka out from under myself, but when I pulled, I kind of made myself slip off the chair and fell straight down on my bum. Second week on the job and I, too my colleagues at least, just randomly fell off a chair out of nowhere. I had to laugh because otherwise I would have cried of embarrassment

It was the morning of my last uni exam for my first year. I lived on campus with about 100 other students in our dorms. It was absolutely PISSING rain. To get to the communal kitchen for breakfast I had to go outside into the weather then in through another door and down some stairs. The stair were in full view of the communal dining area. I got to the top of the stairs and nearly slipped and then caught myself but made a weird “ugh” noise of surprise so everyone eating breakfast turned to me. I then proceeded to slip again right onto my bum and fell like a cartoon character down the stairs hitting my lower back and bum on each one on the way down. We also got absolutely drenched heading to our exam rooms at the other end of campus, it was the kind of rain even an umbrella couldn’t stop. I sat in my exam cold and shivering, soaked to the bone with a huge purple bruise developing across my lower back. I failed the exam 😂
I also once tripped and fell over on a ramp at a busy train station. Managed to catch myself but scraped up my knee pretty badly. But when I caught myself my handbag fell off my shoulder and all the contents fell out and rolled away down the ramp, tampons, tissues, coins, my wallet, makeup, phone, keys etc etc. I felt like such an idiot.
Not my falling down story but we were in PE class when I was around 15 years old. We were outside and it had been raining for DAYS so the field was all muddy. Didn't stop our teacher from having us play baseball. It's my friend's turn, she hits the ball away and starts running and right before she got to the first base she slipped on a patch of mud and fell flat on her back with her arms and legs in the air (think banana peel in a cartoon-slip) and I laughed so hard I sank through my knees and peed myself a little but thank GOD I was on my period at that moment so I could just change my pad so no one noticed 😭 would NOT have been able to live that down
Not me, but the train network in my city has cctv cameras on trains & at stations. They did a compilation video on Facebook of people falling as a “safety reminder” but really just for the lols. The best one was actually at my local station and a young guy with low rider trousers was walking down the stairs and tripped the camera cuts to the underpass pov where you see him slide head first into view then faceplants with his trousers around his ankles. I pml first time and went back to rewatch it several more times. Yes I’m a bit 😈
Ok I actually do have 2 falling stories of my own but they are scary rather than hilarious. Both happened when I was feeling poorly at different times. First one, I’d got up in the middle of the night to use the loo and when I got back to my bedroom I became dizzy and fainted. Fortunately I missed the round metal bed frame and fell completely on the floor and didn’t get hurt. The other time (again ill and became dizzy) I’d gone upstairs to get some water from the kitchen (split level so only 5 stairs) and as I was walking back across the landing with a full glass I fainted. When I came to the first thing I thought was “why is my hand wet?” because I’d fallen on the floor (thankfully carpeted) spilling most of my glass of water, the cup was upright but my hand was in the “puddle” which is why it was wet. Very fortunate that I passed out before reaching the stairs or I would have fallen down them.
I am historically clumsy and have way too many falling stories. I fell on my very first day of kindergarten because I was excited and running to my class. I had on a dress and everything. Lost a good bit of skin from my knee and another kid quickly came over and said “gross” 😂 Then a couple of years ago when my son was 2, he started running off while we were at the zoo. I fell as I was chasing him, but was able to jump back up and get him. Ended up with another busted knee and a big hole in my jeans. Everyone in the area was looking and asking if I was okay. Meanwhile I was crying because I was so upset that he would run off and worried that my knee would get infected from zoo dirt 🤣
I was about 15 and in secondary school. outside our base classroom was a set of three steps. It was exam season and I was carrying around this huge ring binder along with some books cause my back was not thriving. i was too busy chatting shit about someone and tripped up the step. I tried to catch myself but ended up face planting the binder and belly flopping onto the floor in front of a bunch of seniors. the embarrassment. even to this day i get second hand embarrassment thinking about it
Here's a falling story. It was when Snuggies were on TV for sale. It's a blanket you wear like a robe but it covers your front not your back. I was walking around everywhere with mine (they aren't meant to walk around in, but americans never follow directions). It was big, tie dye blue, and comfy. My dumb self decided to walk upstairs to get my iPod for some music. I had just made a strawberry milkshake. When I was almost to the top of the stairs, I stepped on the Snuggie. I fell forward splashing the milkshake all over the wall and then went down the stairs feet first like a sled. My cat was just watching the whole time probably thinking "why are you so stupid". No, she did not leave her cat tower to check on me, she just went back to grooming herself. I didn't break anything, only had one bruise, but I never wore the damn Snuggie again.

I dramatically fell up the steps outside my work one morning RIGHT as a massive group of highschoolers were walking past...gave myself the ick just thinking about that again 🙈 I even did the thing where you look back as if something's tripped me up 😆
I was at a festival in a national park a few years back, and my friends & I were having a picnic at the top of a really high, steep hill. When we were done packing up, the grass was still dewy from the rainy day before. I slipped on the grass, TUPPANCE LITERALLY OUT (was wearing a skirt), and SLID ALL THE WAY DOWN THE HILL like it was a slip n' slide. In front of a large crowd. Still my most mortifying, yet hilarious story to date. My friends still like to remind me of that one every once in awhile hahah
The movie theater in the town I grew up in has a wall full of windows at the front. When I was around 5, my mom and older sister took me to see a kid’s movie. I decided to race my sister to the car afterwards and ran full speed into the window. Hit it so hard that my little flip flops flew off when I fell back. My mom said she and my sister were in tears laughing so hard 😂
I didn't fall down, but I did fall backwards in an office chair at my desk once. Decided I would get comfy and prop my feet on the bed and the chair said, "Nope! Not tonight!" and I flipped backwards making a helluva commotion and then started dying of laughter. All the while I was LIVE on the net as I was djing. 😊🤣

During freshers week at uni, I fell down a flight of stairs in spoons… the pub was packed as well and it went silent 😅 I did it ever so gracefully though and was like taadahhhh 😂💁🏼♀️ what a silly bum!

I fall a LOT. Up the stairs usually, but also when cleaning the bathroom, etc. I slip and fall all the time. If you were around me, Aden you would piss yourself from laughing. I am really LOVING this build. It is so pretty. I want to go there! I can't wait to see how it all comes into fruition. :P

I was on a first date with a guy and we went out for coffee. I was a little nervous and tripped over my own 2 feet and face planted into the glass door of the cafe. Needless to say my skirt I was wearing flew up also and everyone had a good look. It was also lunchtime so the cafe was very busy.

I love this build Aden! Its so different from something I might build but its just perfect for this area of San Myshuno. I usually struggle with my historical style and this skywalk area. Also, I would love to visit this cafe/bar in real life.
I spectacularly fell off my bike into a ditch straight into a giant bush of stinging nettles once as a kid, at the time i cried a lot and was in pain for days all covered in cream, but in retrospect that was pretty hilarious. More recently i stacked it in a club, middle of the dance floor... saved the drink though.

I love the touches of green and the outdoor seating. The name "Skywalk Square" is perfect for this build as I was thinking about the view and how it does look like your in the sky. Ok, I'm a Star Wars nerd too, but this build reminded me of one of the places in "Ghostwire: Tokyo". Love the down to earth tones. 🥰 Not sure if this counts as a "falling" story, but I was taking a Greyhound bus home for the holidays when I was in college. There was a sign at the station that talking about the parking lot (like not leaving cars overnight kind of stuff) and the bottom of it was as tall as my forehead. I had turned my head to see if my roommate and my then boyfriend were taking my suitcase out of the car and ran smack into the sign, slid under it and landed spread eagle on the sidewalk. I swear I must have looked like quite a sight as I was out cold for a few minutes. Had an awful concussion, but took the bus home and my parents met me and took me straight to the ER to get me checked out. I was ok in the end, but it was quite scary at the time. Looking back on it, I do think it was funny and was glad that nothing serious happened to me.

This isn't a personal story, but there's this movie called While You Were Sleeping (amazing Christmas romcom from the 90s). There's this throw-away scene in the middle of the movie where a kid delivering newspapers fully falls off his bike and the first time I watched it I laughed so hard I cried. My mother was very concerned about how funny her 9 year old thought that was 😂 I still think it's hilarious
When I was younger like around 12, 13 I had those wheely shoes. I was trying to get used to them but I started to roll down this little incline and I did a shaggy from Scooby Doo fall. Arms doing the windmill and everything. My brother cought me but I swear he was dying laughing. 😂😂
Walking my dog on a beautiful winter morning in January a couple of years ago. I stepped on a snowed over puddle, my dog decided it was time to pull on its leash and there I was watching my legs flying in the air. I must have looked like in a cartoon. My butt hurt for days. 🤣

I was one our last day of holiday packing up. The holiday home had these awful stairs that had a really narrow corner turning part. I went up the stairs grabbed a bunch of things from the kitchen and went down the stairs. I missed the super narrow turning corner step completely and slid down the rest of the stairs. I ended up fracturing my tailbone 😅
Just to give you a heads up, the tables and chairs on the balcony out the front arent equally spaced out (idk if that was a choice or not but oh well), that being said the rest of the build is top tier!!!

I have a falling down tale. I used to run back in high school. It was my birthday. I was in the middle of running when all of a sudden I somehow got the toe of my shoe stuck on the shoelace loop of my other one and I went flying across the sidewalk

My fall story - Went camping with my girl scout troup. We had cabins that someone stupidly decorated with window height beds. Me being the clumsy idiot i am, leaned back against what i thought would be a while wall chatting and fell straight out of a window. So glad I have never had to see those girls again!
If you enjoy people falling down, then we definitely need to be friends because I do comedy falling down on a regular basis.
Once I skidded on one of those safety mats they have in the entrance to Asda (other supermarkets available) because it was all screwed up & not flat but also it was very icey out so the mat was all wet. I didn't do sensible shoes back then so I literally flew off my feet. Whole contents of my handbag fell out.
Other time I did a massive fall was when I stepped out my cousin's car (we were collecting some stuff after my dad died), I put one foot out onto the car park and again bam - fell legs and hands forward on a massive patch of black ice, which was hiding a rock that most of went into my knee. Nice trip to a&e to sew my knee back up that time.
But I also often fall downstairs, have had a man fall on me on an escalator, trip up over my own feet, walk into walls by accident, you name it. Growing up my parents regularly threatened to get the camera out and make themselves some cash by sending the footage to You've Been Framed! (mean!! 😱)

Now I work from home so there's less falls in public but, when I used to work at an office, I feel just turning the corner from home and had to come back to change my pants since they ended up ripping on the knees. Literally, didn't even make a whole block before falling.
I fell out of my semi (lorrie in England) and broke off the tip of my tail bone, and as soon as I got better I slipped on gravel and re-broke the same damn area again....all within a month....😮

My husband did an excellent comedy fall during our honeymoon! We came back to our room a bit pissed, and he decided to take a bath. I was watching TV in the room, when I heard a huge splash and my husband drunkenly giggling from the bathroom. I went to investigate and found water running out from under the door. Turned out, he'd massively overfilled the bath and then slipped getting in, causing a small tidal wave.

Was rushing down the corridor outside classrooms and my foot caught on something and went arse over tit. Before my brain engaged I let out a loud involuntary "SHIT" and yes the classroom doors were open 🤣 still work there now though 😊
About 5 or 6 years ago, I was at work and it had snowed. When I came out of work to go to my car, I stepped down off the sidewalk and my feet hit a patch of ice in the parking lot and just completely slid out from under me and I landed flat on my bum. The worst part of it was that my boss at the time was also going to her car and saw the whole thing happen. It was hilarious but slightly painful.
Oh I've fallen or stumbled many heckin times. I was about 15 when I tripped over my cousins dog while we were out for a walk. That was super fun. Hurt one hand and bumped the side of my head... like temple area of forehead kinda... lol.
But most recently was about a week and a half ago.... my neighbors dog had gotten out and was running in the neighborhood scared. I sat on the curb of the street hoping he'd come to me if I was down at his level... (didn't help, he trotted right passed my fat ass like wtf you doin lol.) My neighbors were driving up the street to come track the dog down just as I was trying to stand up.... lost my balance and stumbled down into the grass on my knee... then stumbled again trying to get up from that lol. I'm not a small person... I am quite round.... and had to push up off the ground like a dang toddler on all fours lmao. And they're neighbors I don't even like! So that was embarrassing haha.
I once fell over a box of bananas when working in a shop 😂 my work friends teased me for weeks due to the fact in cartoons they always slip and fall on banana peel 😂😂

during mardi gras this year, it was pissing down rain at a parade and as a float was coming up I tried to jump over a large puddle right in front of the sidewalk and I slipped and absolutely face planted into the puddle in front of a giant crowd lmao my boyfriend said it was like it happened in slow motion
While I was driving last year, there was some parents walking their dog and a little kid on a bike riding ahead. And he was watching the cars rather than where he was going, and he just sort... Rode directly into somebody's tall bushy garden hedge and kinda got stuck in slow motion 🤣🤭
I broke and badly sprained my ankle right before my 21st birthday, so I was in a boot and on crutches. We went to the theatre (for the life of me I cant remember what we saw) but when we came out we saw it had downpoured and was currently still sprinkling. My mum went for the car and when she pulled it around I tried to quickly hobble my way over there. The combination of being horrid on crutches, a klutz to begin with, trying to go too fast, and the wet concrete was a disaster waiting to happen - I ended up falling on my arse. It took several people to help me up and assist me to the car. 😂
One of the English teachers at my high school also looked like a turtle. She completed the turtle look by regularly wearing turtle neck jumpers 😂😂

so my story isnt too hilarious i guess but i was 10 and i was playing with a group of the neighborhood kids, including my little crush i had. i fell from a half wall (cause we just standing on top of it for some reason 🙄) and scrapped my shin pretty bad, i had a huge wound and i was so embarrassed but my crush came over and helped me clean it and disinfect it. it was very nice and cute. i still have the scar almost 20 years later lol.

I was in a seminar last winter and the chairs were slippery plastic ones. I had my big parka hanging over the back of the chair weirdly, which caused me to half sit on it. I wanted to discretely pull the parka out from under myself, but when I pulled, I kind of made myself slip off the chair and fell straight down on my bum. Second week on the job and I, too my colleagues at least, just randomly fell off a chair out of nowhere. I had to laugh because otherwise I would have cried of embarrassment
when I was in uni, I fell on my chest in the bathroom (it was slippery). Apparently, I made a loud noise as I got the wind knocked out of me cause every single person in my dorm got out of their rooms to check if I was ok (I wasn’t) but I was so embarrassed I just sort of limped back to my room 🥲
It was the morning of my last uni exam for my first year. I lived on campus with about 100 other students in our dorms. It was absolutely PISSING rain. To get to the communal kitchen for breakfast I had to go outside into the weather then in through another door and down some stairs. The stair were in full view of the communal dining area. I got to the top of the stairs and nearly slipped and then caught myself but made a weird “ugh” noise of surprise so everyone eating breakfast turned to me. I then proceeded to slip again right onto my bum and fell like a cartoon character down the stairs hitting my lower back and bum on each one on the way down. We also got absolutely drenched heading to our exam rooms at the other end of campus, it was the kind of rain even an umbrella couldn’t stop. I sat in my exam cold and shivering, soaked to the bone with a huge purple bruise developing across my lower back. I failed the exam 😂
I also once tripped and fell over on a ramp at a busy train station. Managed to catch myself but scraped up my knee pretty badly. But when I caught myself my handbag fell off my shoulder and all the contents fell out and rolled away down the ramp, tampons, tissues, coins, my wallet, makeup, phone, keys etc etc. I felt like such an idiot.
Not my falling down story but we were in PE class when I was around 15 years old. We were outside and it had been raining for DAYS so the field was all muddy. Didn't stop our teacher from having us play baseball. It's my friend's turn, she hits the ball away and starts running and right before she got to the first base she slipped on a patch of mud and fell flat on her back with her arms and legs in the air (think banana peel in a cartoon-slip) and I laughed so hard I sank through my knees and peed myself a little but thank GOD I was on my period at that moment so I could just change my pad so no one noticed 😭 would NOT have been able to live that down
Not me, but the train network in my city has cctv cameras on trains & at stations. They did a compilation video on Facebook of people falling as a “safety reminder” but really just for the lols. The best one was actually at my local station and a young guy with low rider trousers was walking down the stairs and tripped the camera cuts to the underpass pov where you see him slide head first into view then faceplants with his trousers around his ankles. I pml first time and went back to rewatch it several more times. Yes I’m a bit 😈
Ok I actually do have 2 falling stories of my own but they are scary rather than hilarious. Both happened when I was feeling poorly at different times. First one, I’d got up in the middle of the night to use the loo and when I got back to my bedroom I became dizzy and fainted. Fortunately I missed the round metal bed frame and fell completely on the floor and didn’t get hurt. The other time (again ill and became dizzy) I’d gone upstairs to get some water from the kitchen (split level so only 5 stairs) and as I was walking back across the landing with a full glass I fainted. When I came to the first thing I thought was “why is my hand wet?” because I’d fallen on the floor (thankfully carpeted) spilling most of my glass of water, the cup was upright but my hand was in the “puddle” which is why it was wet. Very fortunate that I passed out before reaching the stairs or I would have fallen down them.
I am historically clumsy and have way too many falling stories. I fell on my very first day of kindergarten because I was excited and running to my class. I had on a dress and everything. Lost a good bit of skin from my knee and another kid quickly came over and said “gross” 😂
Then a couple of years ago when my son was 2, he started running off while we were at the zoo. I fell as I was chasing him, but was able to jump back up and get him. Ended up with another busted knee and a big hole in my jeans. Everyone in the area was looking and asking if I was okay. Meanwhile I was crying because I was so upset that he would run off and worried that my knee would get infected from zoo dirt 🤣
I was about 15 and in secondary school. outside our base classroom was a set of three steps. It was exam season and I was carrying around this huge ring binder along with some books cause my back was not thriving. i was too busy chatting shit about someone and tripped up the step. I tried to catch myself but ended up face planting the binder and belly flopping onto the floor in front of a bunch of seniors. the embarrassment. even to this day i get second hand embarrassment thinking about it

Here's a falling story. It was when Snuggies were on TV for sale. It's a blanket you wear like a robe but it covers your front not your back. I was walking around everywhere with mine (they aren't meant to walk around in, but americans never follow directions). It was big, tie dye blue, and comfy. My dumb self decided to walk upstairs to get my iPod for some music. I had just made a strawberry milkshake. When I was almost to the top of the stairs, I stepped on the Snuggie. I fell forward splashing the milkshake all over the wall and then went down the stairs feet first like a sled. My cat was just watching the whole time probably thinking "why are you so stupid". No, she did not leave her cat tower to check on me, she just went back to grooming herself. I didn't break anything, only had one bruise, but I never wore the damn Snuggie again.
Here's one for you... I slipped on an icy path, fell forward and pulled down the trousers (and part of his boxers) of my male friend who was walking ahead of me... Never been so embarrassed in my life! 😂🤣
