We're not sure if you can officially trade those on the boards in the parks, we're going to ask a cast member when we make the update to this video. Usually CMs wont tell you "no" as long as your pin is a Disney themed pin, but we're still going to try to get the detales on that from a Disney employee!
You are allowed to trade anything with the C disney logo on the back (this is why a lot of scrappers or fakes still end up in circulation because they still have this on them usually even though they are fake). Official Disney pins that are licensed by Disney but made for companies like Loungefly etc still have the Cdisney and are also allowed to be traded. Fantasy pins however (fan-made designs, popular on instagram etc, often prettier, bigger and more detailed than authentic pins) are not allowed to be traded.
Fun video! Pin trading at Disney is my favorite thing to do! That mirror pin you found is a Loungefly pin and to my understanding as long as the pin is licensed by Disney it’s tradable. I’d keep the mirror 🪞. In all honesty I love the Loungefly and Walmart pins better than the badly faked pins you find on the board. Great Vlog! I subscribed to see more!

Its super cute & eye catching. When we make the update to this video we'll ask a CM for the "official" say on trading Disney pins not purchased in the park.
I too love to find Loungefly pins on the boards. Sometimes I think they are a better find 😂. Most of them have that interesting backing instead of the Mickey Waffle back.

How exciting! Download the Disneyland App if you haven’t already. How many days will you be here? Are you doing both parks? My recommendations for first timers who want to get a lot done is to arrive at the parks 30mins to an hour before they open and stay after fireworks, which is when the parks will be less busy and wait times won’t be as long. If you’re a foodie, come with a plan on the things you want to eat and try to mobile order the items early in your day. If feasible, genie + will be worth it during this time of year.

We hope you have a great time! You can grab some "first visit" Disneyland buttons for free at City Hall right at the entrance of either parks & *sometimes* you'll get "some pixie" dust from cast members if they see you're wearing one.
