What an amazing experience. Glad Amy got to join. Those trees are a whole other level. Never been to any of those places. And yes I did wave back when you all were on the screen at the Ducks Hockey game. So cool. The train museum. My dad owns a G scale train steam engine. He does all displays for an outdoor garden railroad. His own backyard. The food you had. Looked quite good. Loved this vlog. Thank you for another wonderful vlog.
So happy this was posted before my trip to Disneyland next week! I want to add one for any pin traders go down one block west on south of the park and look for a store called MY D PINS. Best place to buy classic pins in Anaheim.
Fantastic video! You and Amy together enjoying the places while sharing with us the experiences and foods along with ambience 🙌 you guys did a great job 👏🏻
The beginning of this video really brought back memories. My mom would take us up to South Coast Plaza from south county every year during advent. We'd get to meet Santa and ride the carousel and admire the tree. ❤💚 This was well before the Ducks were around. Thanks for the morning nostalgia, Traver. 😢 sniff!
In 1975, Mum an i had a 21 day holiday to the western United States. L.A. to San Francisco, to Yosemite, to Las Vegas, to the Grand Canyon and back to L.A. to Anaheim, staying at the Sheraton Anaheim Hotel.
Wow such a cool video! What a beautiful mall! I’ve never been there…definitely will add to my list of places to visit. Wonderful Xmas decorations. Thank you for the video 😊
South Coast Plaza is a must for us to visit during the holidays, and also during Lunar New Year. We love Okayama bakery too, one of the best for us in Anaheim. Packing District is a nice to get together with friends.
Omggg Okayama is my favorite Japanese cafe!!! I really like their Salted Matcha Cold Brew and Banana Cream Matcha Latte!!! 🥰 I know you guys don’t really partake in brews but there are a bunch of breweries in Anaheim as well. Brewery X is popular and you must try the pizza there 🍕!
I have been to one of the breweries nearby. Broken Spirits, I think? It was for our last Get Away Today sponsored event in September. Didn't have any drinks, just food, but their food was amazing.
It was gorgeous! We'd never actually walked through the shopping plaza before. We'd been to Marugame a few times, just in and out. But it was great to see all the decorations.
You know, I even asked the Visit Anaheim rep about that question, but I've already forgotten his answer. Of all the beach choices, I feel like Huntington Beach or Newport Beach are the two top recommends for families.
@@SoCalDisneyDad Thanks for the reply! I was planning on Huntington Beach. But I was hoping maybe there was a little hidden gem you might be able to tell me about. If any other locals have any recommendations please throw them my way.
I'm going to assume that you're James Gower. And that this comment is in response to your Facebook post. I noticed that you left after what happened. I want you to know I was on your side. Mostly. I hate line cutters, and I talk about it in my videos frequently enough. But I want to explain further. For anyone else reading this comment, James posted in my Facebook Group about line cutters at Disneyland. James' position was that no one should come into the line for any reason, not even going to the bathroom. His position was that if you left the line at all, for any reason, you should get at the back of the line. It was a hotly discussed topic, as you can imagine, given the initial position, and emotions got a little heated. Several members reported James' comments, but rather than delete them or suspend him, I simply turned off the comments after posting my "official" position on the topic to "end" the discussion. I would repost everything I wrote there, but my bottom line was that line cutting, in terms of one person hopping in line and a group of others joining after sometime is wrong, rude, and inconsiderate of others. But that if you are in line, leave to the use the restroom, and return, this is okay. Unexpected things happen. We all understand. Though I did also encourage people to plan better and use the restroom before getting in line. We also touched on DAS, and how people getting denied for the service are officially told by Disney to wait outside the line and join their party before they're about to board the ride. But rather than encourage people to perform line cutting behaviors (passing you to reach their party), I informed people that there are specific meetup points for most rides that don't involve line cutting behaviors, such as going through the lightning lane or wheelchair access (speak to a cast member for instructions at each ride). Overall, I dislike line cutting, and will continue to talk about it in videos discouraging people from being inconsiderate to other guests. But I also listed some instances where it's acceptable for a single adult or a guardian with a child to do so, but no more. Not groups of 3+ adults or teens joining one or two people who hopped in line while they went somewhere else. I am sorry you felt that way, James. I'm sorry you left the group. But you were being a little disrespectful, and I could have taken harsher action. I want my community to be one a positive and encouraging place. Not one where name-calling and rude behavior is permissible.
@SoCalDisneyDad I agree with your take on line cutting. My husband gets angry at any disrespect easily. Nobody is taught proper respect any more. 1 thing I wasn't sure about is if the lines are so long, and my legs are bad due to my blood clotting disorder (I've had nine leg surgeries), and I wouldn't be able to stand in a 45-minute line. Would it be okay to sit down until we move closer to the front of the ride? I'm watching your videos to save as much money as possible and didn't want to rent a wheelchair and then get up and walk to rides. I've heard some RUclipsrs frown on that, too. They wanted to amputate my legs in 2019, but I refused to give up. Thank you for all your informative videos. We are going to Disneyland next weekend. Hope to see you there!
My mom can’t stand for long periods of time and doesn’t use a wheelchair or scooter (just cane or walking poles). In some lines she gets a return time and it applies to the family. In other rides she sits down near the exit and we line up on her behalf. When we get to the front she joins us. In both cases we speak to cast member first.

So cool about the trains! One of our favorite things to do at WDW is watching the trains at the Germany pavilion in EPCOT.

The art work at Muzeo was beautiful. The ones you pied were especially wonderful. Loved it.
Thank you for this video! So helpful, and great to see you and Amy outside of the parks just having fun
LETS GO DUCKS!!! Love going to hockey games
Great video!!! Highly entertaining!!!
Yes! I've been waiting for this video! I saw Amy's IG posts and was getting so excited!
Wow saw a new vid and clicked. The earliest I've ever been to a posting of a new video from your channel. Excited to watch.

This was a cool video. Getting to see what else to do. I really want to try all the food.

The food looks delicious, can’t wait to try it !!
Great video as always, can’t wait to be back at the parks!
Wow...can't wait to go to allllll the food places!
We love okayama. That’s our first stop every time we get into Anaheim before we check into our hotel. We’ll have to try the udon place next time!
Also, there’s a Okayama in Honolulu. Just thinking about your French toast comparison comments.
Oooooo. I'll have to look and see how close it is to our hotel when we stay in Waikiki. We're returning in May.
Oh, my goodness. Im excited!
Thanks for this one! We are going in a couple of months and I've been looking for this topic in videos! Thank you! ❤
THANK YOU for this video! My family needed this one!
Wish I would have thought of going to a Ducks' game when I was at DL. That would have been a great way to spend our day off.
Amy I am with you no cranberry sauce. Enjoyed this video.
What freeway goes by Honda Center and South Coast Plaza awesome I'm with you I do want to make a model train sets 🤔🛣️🚆🚂
Omg south coast plaza is sooo beautiful for the holidays😭 my stomping grounds since I was a little kid
It was gorgeous! We'd never actually walked through the shopping plaza before. We'd been to Marugame a few times, just in and out. But it was great to see all the decorations.
Cool!
I am definitely checking out Marugame Udon on my next Disney trip in February! Perfect stop on my way to the airport :)
Yes! It's one of our favorites.
Ooooooh Din Tai Fung 😮❤

Wow never been to south coast plaza. Need to check it out
It's a great place for food. They have a lot of good restaurants in there.

Visiting in January. We are doing Disney for 2 days. Then we want to take the kids to a beach. Where do you recommend we go?

was it over 2 bucks for each fried shrimp??? crazy
It was! It's truly not that bad as they are quite large and filling. Makes for a nice snack. Most fast food isn't cheap anymore these days.
