    CJ is so good at anticipating his recievers. So many plays he is already throwing and the reciever has not even turned to him yet. He gets that ball tight in the window and beats the secondary before they even have a chance.

    • @Marveryn
      @Marveryn 8 месяцев назад +8

      also a lot of his throw seem to have to protect receivers. a few of his misses were cause he was aiming for a spot that only his receivers could get while on the run or moving away from the defenders, but they are such a tight window some of the receivers were getting the ball before they had their hands in position to make the catch. Of course the more they play and they get use to each other the more the receivers will be waiting and ready for that ball.

    • @quigonkenny
      @quigonkenny 8 месяцев назад +3

      @@MarverynYep. There's a reason why he doesn't have any picks yet. He makes safe throws. His completion percentage is taking a hit because of it, but I'll take an incomplete over a pick any day of the week. As you said, the longer he plays with his receivers, the less those drops will happen.

      It will be a good thing because the hype train has gotten ridiculous - yes he has played well and he looks like a legit franchise QB and Ryans looks like the coach we have waited so long for but there are people talking about running away with the AFC South and being a SB contending team which at this point is way overblown. Watson looked like he was going to take us deep into the playoffs every year too and we know how that worked out.

      Doubt it. Yes, our pass rush was bad this game, but mostly because we rely so heavily on the QB to hold onto the ball just a few seconds longer so that the TJ or Highsmith get a sack. CJ is just so good that he's able to do that Tom Brady quick release. Yeah, the defense could have played better but don't act like our defense is the issue when our offense is dog water.
