It holds really well - 8 years in and never broken I can have 3-4 people sitting on it or so that’s easily 600 pounds on the side of just 2 tables
@@duduschannel9765 I’m not sure how much weight it holds but I’m a big fat grl and it holds me it’s very sturdy…I recommend it 😊

from a local fabric shop - you can try Michaels or Joannes or even Walmart

After 2 years how have the held up? Have you sit on them for good amount of time?
It’s been about 7 years, sturdy as ever.. and I have kids and family is always over so they’re sat on more then the couch honestly

What's the measurement of the board? I wanted to start while I'm waiting for the tables to ship. I'm doing the same number of lack tables
Which side( I have one side w 2 tables and one side with 4) ? The measurement of the lack table is 21 5/8 inches you can multiply it by how many tables you’ll be using and I got the board to the same size
Are the ikea tables you used as benches pretty sturdy? Do they separate at all? :)
Extremely sturdy I’ve had this set up for yearsss. They separate for me because I never fastened them together but you can definitely get brackets to secure them together and use Velcro from bench to table 🤍

Where’d you get the white dining table?
ikea but it's discontinued - you can look up kidney bean table and find similar online - I find a lot of low coffee table ones but you could check to see if the legs are removable or don't come attached and find some long ones from Ikea to screw in

Hi, I was wondering if the ikea tables are strong enough to hold the weight of a person? I'm worried because the tables say the hold up to 25kg.
I’ve had this set up for about 7 or more years- never broken - the cushion probably helps with giving it more stability but I’ve had several people sit on these at once and even with one person that’s 250 lbs - you can stand on one of these tables itself and it won’t break .. hope this helps

Where can someone buy cushioned benches already made ?
you could buy individual cushions, but maybe you could find someone on Etsy who may take custom orders
Where did u get the chair from?
It was from a store in nyc Chinatown, but I see them online but never with an exact name - search “unique plastic chairs”
My window is longer and closer to the ground. So the pillows wouldn’t work 🥺
What iffffff you built two of the same cushions and then use L brackets behind it to secure it and now you literally have a whole seating moment
You could find nice looking brackets to match the hardware like gold or silver in the house orrrr put fabric on the back and wrap it under the seating and no one would see it - it’s an option!
Feet are usually ugly. However, for some reason God said "I'm gonna give THIS human perfect feet... for absolutely no reason".
