I have been looking for just this key fob wallet and decided to check out your patterns again! Voila! My granddaughter would love this so I will be making this for her. I downloaded the pattern and watched your video. Of course, I will be watching it often as I make this. Thank you for all the details you provide and your comments. Your videos are very hlpeful as well as inspiring!!
Where have you been all my bag making life!!!!! Ran across this on the blog hop on Instagram and I am hooked. Just finished my first one and working on the second. Your videos are awesome, great instructor. You are my new best friend I will never meet!! Thanks for sharing you talents on this platform.
I just found you! I do not so face book , so I can't see your group. I love the idea of you pre-cutting. I have arthritis and hard to cut straight, but I too am self taught.. thanks to wonderful people like you
This has really been helpful for me. I bought the pattern last year and I haven't made a wallet since last Christmas so I definitely needed a refresher
I just rec'd cork fabric today and wasn't sure what to make. A friend recommended you. I look forward to making the wallet this weekend. I like how small it is. I made a different one with regular fabric, so this will be perfect. Thank you for sharing. Have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend :)

You do such wonderful work! I'm going to get this pattern and make this wallet to go with the mini box tote for my son's girlfriend's daughter. She's sure to love them. Thank you for the courage to work on cork!
You are a truly wonderful teacher! I wouldn't have thought I could make a wallet until I watched you show how to do it. Love your pattern too. I finished one for myself and my 16 year old immediately asked me to make her one, too. Amazing how much faster the second one went. Thank you!
I love this. I've been searching for a wallet pattern that would be suitable for a man or woman and this one is perfect. You truly are a genius. Thank you for your inspiration.
Wonderful tutorial. I bought some cork today. We’ll see if I’m brave enough to cut it. I’m in Florida where we had the highest amount of new cases this week. Over 12,000 this week alone. I may never leave the house. If it wasn’t for you and Lauren I would be nuts already. Thanks again.
Hello Nicole! That´s a great little pattern and a great little wallet. I love to work with cork and I´ll make one soon! Greetings from germany - Monika -
Great tutorial. I wish the pattern indicated the lines where the folds are... and how much space between the pieces on the inside. That's where I ran into trouble. As of this minute I am waiting for the inner body glue to dry and am concerned that I won't get the spacing right at the end.
This is a really old video so I don’t use both anymore. I still use beacon fabri-tac for gluing two pieces together, but I used to use Aleenes fabric fusion to seal the edges. Now I use mod podge. Also you can find that info in the description!
Hi Nicole. I just purchased the pattern and already have the pieces cut out. Do you have any buying tips on where to buy ID window vinyl? I live in a large metropolitan area that has all the large stores. Thanks for such a great tutorial. I’m super excited to dive in. 🌵❤️🇺🇸
I am loving the cork....can you do a sling bag for men pattern, for a concealed gun? I work in a manufacturing company of guns and would love to have a nice gift for the boss.
@@SewGnar no that's fine... I know it's a lengthy process.. well let's see what I can come up with. By the way... love your videos... you introduced me to cork and although it's super nice its scary cause it feels fragile...
Made my second one in two days. Love this pattern. I have one question. I got a bit of the Frabi-Tac glue on some brown cork and it took out the color! Luckily in a hidden spot. Have you ever had this happen?
Good video. I have the same machine. I have had some trouble with the pedal where it would continuously cut my threads. I now have a guard to place on the pedal. Haven’t tried it yet. Have you had any issues with your machine? Other than that issue with my machine, I love it.
I would like to see a section in this wallet for $dollar bills. Seems like it would work easily. I think I would like to carry this wallet if it had the place for a $20.00 dollar bills. I would not want to fold it up and stash it in behind the ID slot. Can you up grade this pattern so it could be made either way?????
I have watched several of your videos and can't understand how when you are top stitching you always land in the right spot to pivot. What I am trying to say is that when I use a longer stitch length to top stitch a rectangle at 1/8th, the last stitch on 1 side rarely lands so that I can just pivot and have the next side stitched at 1/8th from the edge. It either overshoots or undershoots. To avoid having this, I end up manually repositioning the last stitch and making it either shorter or longer so that when I pivot I am good to go. If you have some trick to this, I'd love to know it.
Hi Karen, I will push or pull my project ever so slightly to make sure I land where I want to. Sometimes I push/pull too hard and I’ll most the needle and break it, but most times if I’m careful I can apply the right pressure and get it to land where I want it to!
I love watching you work!!! I usually leave during half time but not on yours!!! You are amazing!!!
Wow!! Thank you so much!

Loving the Jeweled Tone hair! So Beautiful! I also love the simplicity of the wallet. Great for beginners.
Thank you on both! Everytime I wash my hair it changes a bit so it’s a fun progression!
Loving the hair!!! Think I'll make my daughter one of these
Jaded, Totally agree the hair is awesome! Wallet too, seems like a great cork beginner.
Thank you! Please do!
Thanks! and yes, a great beginner project where you learn some techniques!
I got this cute pattern several months ago! Now after watching your great tutorial I will spend my Saturday making this cute wallet! ❤️

Nice teaching angle with the camera
Love it

Yaaaas! Been waiting!!!

I noticed that you used 2 different glues. What is the purpose. Can just one be used for all applications and which one?
This is a really old video so I don’t use both anymore. I still use beacon fabri-tac for gluing two pieces together, but I used to use Aleenes fabric fusion to seal the edges. Now I use mod podge.
Also you can find that info in the description!
What is the purpose of burning the edges of the cork? I've never seen that before. TIA.
To burn any little frizzies off before finishing the edges
Hi Nicole. I just purchased the pattern and already have the pieces cut out. Do you have any buying tips on where to buy ID window vinyl? I live in a large metropolitan area that has all the large stores. Thanks for such a great tutorial. I’m super excited to dive in. 🌵❤️🇺🇸
I get mine from any craft store or Walmart and I like the thicker vinyls.
What is the purpose of burning and gluing your cork edges?
Because when the edge of the cork rubs against things it can cause a fray of the backing fabric!
I am loving the cork....can you do a sling bag for men pattern, for a concealed gun? I work in a manufacturing company of guns and would love to have a nice gift for the boss.
I don’t have a pattern for CC and I don’t have time to write one up, I’m sorry!

I have, you gotta get it off quick to avoid that!
Really great little pattern. Can you tell me where you get your labels printed. Thank you.
I brand it on with a branding iron
Love it! Question, Is the Beacon fabric tac the same as Beacon 3 in 1?
I’m not sure as I’ve never used the 3 in 1. But if it dries quickly and holds well then it’s likely very similar!
Good video. I have the same machine. I have had some trouble with the pedal where it would continuously cut my threads. I now have a guard to place on the pedal. Haven’t tried it yet. Have you had any issues with your machine?
Other than that issue with my machine, I love it.
The only issue I have is the knee lift won't lift my presser foot all the way up.
what is best vinyl for windows?
I just use the thickest clear vinyl I can find in stores!
Where is a good place to purchase cork?
I always get mine from fabric funhouse. Use code SEWGNAR10 for 10% off your order!
Where did you get your brand stamp from please x
