I watched Sasaki in the last grand prix held in Azerbaijan 🇦🇿. He's an absolute beast. His style is similar to Shoei Ono bringing traditional Japanese judo with western concepts of power.
I went kodokan once and watched a Japanese coach throw nearly all the higher grades. I remember thinking this guy gave his life too judo i was mesmerised watching him. Judo is so hard but the masters make it look so easy

Also makes opponent think next time (if there is next time) 1:14 … and then sasaki goes for ippon. Brilliant.

去年の全日本と今年の選抜の勢いで五輪に出れたんだよなー
結果永瀬選手優勝したんで81はすごいですよね笑
