- Oh queer slang! Gotta love it. Here are some lesbian slang terms and what they mean, in honour of Pride - which wasn't quite as cheerful as usual this year.
From the classic u-hauling to beaver damming, which of these do you know and which ones do you know that we missed?
Happy pride everyone

I’m watching this because my daughter came out recently and I want to know as much as I can. This will help me know what she’s talking about!
aw that’s so sweet! wish i had a moment like you
That's so nice of you as a mother, not like my parents who whould kick me out of the houst for beeing a lesbian- :
U are such a sweetheart 💕 ur daughter is one lucky peach 🤗
But know your respect is all she needs 😘
Ahhh your a good mum
Aww! You’re such a good parent!
can we take a moment to appreciate lilian's platinum radiance today 💖
Hahaaa thank you! ☺️
Can I be either of your goldendildo? My bad I'm just funnin with ya's. I'm happy for you both and like seeing how you relate to one another while keeping it real. I was going to bed and this popped up ( you'll be relieved to know nothing else LOL ) sorry I had to I'm " punch drunk " as they say when you're tired, but I had to watch and glad I did !!!
Stay Well !!!
@@AlexisLilian please read above LOL
@Michael Quinn You would probably say that about Isabella Russolini too I guess. Personally all three are very attractive in distinct ways.
Indeed - Lillian looks absolutely resplendent in this one (plus, Alexis looks as cute as a kitten, too!)
Says-bian sounds a lot like bi-erasure.
In our circle, "Tweener" was a label - not really butch, not femme, somewhere in between. Think sweatshirts, cargo shorts, short hair, but wears light makeup or does their hair every morning before leaving the house.
I hated when my coworker called me a gold star like it was an accomplishment or something. Like who cares? I’m a stone butch and never new it. I would totally be a lag because of being scared of coming out to my parents. Also Stud is a term for women of color so we could add that.
Love the shoutout to Stone Butch Blues... I just read it for a course this past year and it was honestly painful and heartbreaking at points and definitely worth a read if y'all haven't read it.
Found you guys a few days ago and I’m literally obsessed🥺😍💖. Y’all are such a beautiful and wholesome couple shem🥺
Much love from South Africa 😂💖
I assume someone has caught this already, but I'll say it just in case. LUG (Lesbian Until Graduation) refers to _college_ ! For many _decades_ , young women (especially those who went to all-female colleges) "experimented" and discovered their sexuality, away from their high school friends, away from their hometown and family. But some just seemed to be "playing" at it--they enjoyed having a girlfriend and being in the lesbian community while at school, but weren't going to commit to continuing, coming out, etc. _after_ they graduated.
I always assumed some of them were bi or fluid; perhaps others were afraid to admit their true sexuality and were going to try to get married to a man and live a "normal" (het) life. The problem, and hence the label, is that the girls they were with would get seriously hurt--imagine being lovers with someone for 1-4 years and then she suddenly goes back in the closet, or she repudiates your relationship like it was a mistake or just youthful experimenting, or dismisses it as just some fun she had in college and now she's going to look for a man to settle down with. Not because they weren't happy with their girlfriend, but because they were graduating and going home to their family and old friends. Because of "comphet"--"compulsory heterosexuality"...societal pressure to be straight.
Where was this my teen years ?! Thank you never too late.
I think maybe the graduation in LUG is referring to college graduation? Cuz, you know, the stereotype of "experimenting in college"
What a lovely couple! And you 2 are so fun how you interact together! Loved the video it was entertaining. I agree labels feed into stereotypes but people seem to really like them lol
I haven't heard of cliterference, just clam-jamming.
Love this ! i love you guys🌈 happy pride!
It's funny how words change meaning. Here in the UK in the 90's a lipstick lesbian was basically a LUG, or someone who was only into lesbian stuff when they were drunk.
'Lipstick' surface level only with no depth, not naturally occurring, something you can put on and wipe off when you want, like lipstick.
Being called a 'lipstick lesbian' was an insult back in the day.
Here in Brazil some women use the word zapaton (big shoe) or lésbica , the first one might be funny, but for me is better just to sãy I am gay. I am só happy and proud to be gay. I am mexican, now married wishes my beloved brazilian woman. For 4 years.
I thought you two looked similar like sisters before you mentioned it!
You both have the same slim faces and same shape nose. Perfect eye brows
Love your channel just found it today ❤️❤️

I've been lucky enough to be with gold stars (I'm not ever identifying as golden p*nis btw that's gross) for their first time and I love them as people, they're great memories I will remember forever. I would never tell people who know them but I've heard them tell people I was their first. Mostly positive, intimate experience
The guy who said he will turn you, must be my brother-from SA. He often said that about my gay friends. I can just cringe.
i kinda feel like lesbians say i love you pretty fast.
i mean i fall in love with girls faster than i do with dudes
I like to call myself a Sapphist.
I’m a minus gold star 😂🤣😂 I love it! Same!!
What is that ?
SAYSBIAN!! BRILLIANT...you two are hilarious. Thanks for sharing.
An old lesbian term...Stud+Fish=Stish. Meaning that you present as masculine or femme. Depending on your mood that day. Sometimes when another lesbian couldn't figure out your flow...they would ask if you are stud or fish. Back in my 20s I considered myself a Stish. I'm not sure what today's s equivalent term would be. It wouldn't be androgeny because that blends the 2 personas. I mean one day I was lipstick, blouse, skirt and heels and then the next day carmex, hat to the back, jersey, jeans, and K Swiss🤔😏😌💯
This is where I get really confused at okay so the woman on the left (in the white )is claiming she’s a lesbian and explaining how after she has sex with these guys she doesn’t feel anything and only because she’s more attracted to women but the woman she sitting next to on the right looks like a whole man… what I’m basically saying is that she does not like men but you like women that look like men which confuses me because I feel like you’re just basically straight
God straight? I`m marquese of Korqrakgulan and i`m Anarcho realist( A 1) i`m not a maggot ( A 2) to ask racket to make me racket or maggot cause i just can't play with rackets
You two are very entertaining and so attractive

I call them breeders or straggots LMAO

Haha hilarious so what do you call a bisexual like myself? A mudblood?! 🤣
@@babygap720 😂
@@babygap720 now i can't stop thinking about bisexual hermione
I disagree with the term, “Saysbian.” I identify as Bisexual. If I’m with a man, I’m still bisexual...not straight. And if I’m with a woman, I’m still bisexual...not a lesbian. So I disagree with the term Saysbian...there is probably definitely a chick that person would love to fool around with, but since the dating pool is smaller by default ends up messing with a man. Doesn’t mean she isn’t being honest about wanting to be with women.
i agree, it's just making biphobia even worse :(
Thank you! I can't help it that none of the girls I've liked have liked me back!
100% agreed. If I say that I'm bisexual, then I'm bisexual. End of story. 👏😊
It said “ONLY“ not “currently“
@@frogcom-ni3kl Well, I'm married to a man now, so I guess my transformation to saysbian is complete?
Lilian said "power-lesbian" and I thought "oh like Bette Porter!"
and then she repeated it out loud

Hahaha love it!
Bette immediately popped into my mind too!
I always think of Rachel Maddow when I hear “power lesbian”
“Every time I’ve had sex with a guy, it’s just been.... NOT good.” Lmao 😂🙌 love it
I don’t think we should belittle the ‘saybians’ because I was one for a long time before I was able to work through my internalized homophobia!
Thank you, it should be known that acknowledging Saysbians is not the same as being biphobic, as there are some bisexuals there that are up to do harm, either by intention or internal struggle like you were...
yes! i think i knew i was a lesbian when i was very young, like 11 years old moving into secondary school. but then because of heteronormativity and men being the only people giving me attention (because i was very unpopular and i guess a few men only wanted to interact with me because they were attracted to me), i second guessed for YEARS. i had sex with men and it never felt pleasurable, i thought people were just exaggerating how good it feels or i was just missing something. things i thought i was experiencing the same as everyone else, i actually wasn't. i got my 1st sx toy about 4 months ago and then i finally realised what it was supposed to feel like, then realised i could only climax when thinking about women. so it took until i was 20 to figure myself out. I am now sure that so many lesbians have thought i was "saybian" but it is not my fault that men (and heteronormativity in general) were manipulating me!!!! i identified as bi for a long time, but I think people doubted me because I never dated a woman, because I don't think any woman has ever been interested in me, or I was too intimidated to initiate anything (now I realise that's because I am actually attracted to women!! it's easier for me to talk to men because im not sxually attracted to them 😂)
I heard of a term ‘spaghetti straight’, where a girl is straight until she gets gets wet..😬
That's a good one🤭🤭🤭
😂 I like this one
LOL reminds me of a girl in H.S. people used to call spaghetti 🍝 head but as far as I know or anyone really knows in H.S. back then she was str8 !!!!
wtf?
Hahah that used to be me before I realised I'm not straight xd

"People attracted to people who look similar to them."
So true! My wife is a short blonde haired bisexual. She watched this video from the corner of her eye, and grin: "Why are you watching FULLY CLOTHED lesbians?", then she came closer, and yell: "Oh my god, i'm gonna leave you for her!" (Lilian)
ME: "Why? Do you have a twin fetish, or what?"
"No, no, look at her hands!"
ME: "Why? ...OH MY GOD, SHE REALLY HAVE BEAUTIFUL HANDS!!!" :D

These aren't necessarily slang words but more lesbian terminology I can think of: "Wlw" (women loving women), "Sapphic" (same as lesbian but includes all girls who like girls, aka also bis and pans) "Futch"- middle between butch and femme
in my area, we call futch as andro
that's what slang is...

Loved it. Just one note. Some people are not lazy just not able. I will probably always need to be a pillow princess cause of my chronic illness. Not scolding anyone, I know most people just don't haven't heard or thought of it. So I might play all princess on a one night stand just to not have to reveal my personal disabilities that I haven't gotten out of my "now I feel unsexy" complex. But loved the lingo update :)
LAG makes so much sense when you think about it, lol.
LAG for most of us, but LUGs are typically referencing graduation from COLLEGE (since they presented as "straight" in High School and felt more free to engage in a "phase" of "experimentation" in college before "settling down" with a guy after graduating from 2-4 yrs in Undergrad, typically).
~ In general, most of humanity (60-80%, according to the Kinsey Scale research or common Bell Curve stats) are bisexual to some extent, but do end up in hetero relationships out of either convenience or a desire to be socio-culturally acceptable.
Love this! There are a few terms that I don’t know of but the doppelganger thing is hilarious. And about the gold star thing.. that’s a really controversial thing. I am a “gold star lesbian” but I absolutely agree that never being with a man doesn’t make me better than someone who has. I think it’s fine for a lesbian to be proud of never being with a man because heteronormativity pressures all women to do that, but it gets problematic when they put down other girls (lesbian or not) for having been with a man.
This⬆️. Plus there's always those who don't identify until much later in life. Imo dismissing a person because of their past is so judgmental.
Yesssss. Well said.
DoppleBANGER
I have a gay guy friend, very flamboyant who is proud to say he is Gold Star ... because not only dud he never touch a girl, he was a c-section. Still, it could be taken that you are “less than” if that was not your path.
Alexis, I dont know if you would like to talk about that kind of topic in a video but I would love to hear more about your personal journey with sexual orientation and identity! I remember that lilian made a video about her coming out as bisexual which was super interesting to watch!
Listen y’all..... We gotta start referring to the straights as defaults...!!!!!!
We should call straight people "The Unbendable's".🤴🏾
😂 down!
but some of us are kinda bendy...
Great video! I was defiantly what you could call a LAG. I didn't come out till I was 19, after I saw what happened to my 2 friends who came out as lesbians. They lost almost all of their friends, except for me and a few others, the one girl's dad was a marine he beat the shit out of her then kicked her out of the house, then our year book had taken a pic of them and instead of just not printing it they blacked out their faces before it went in to be printed out. The other girls parents brought a lawsuit against the school not only foe discriminating on her and her gf for being gay, but also because they were black and Latina. It was just all so fucked up, and terrified me to come out,
(except with the few girls I was hooking up with on the DL, they werent out either). But when i did come out at 19 I just felt so much better, and like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders.
Wtf?! What year was that? And which country? Wow, that‘s so terrible. I hope her lawsuit succeeded? I‘m so sorry you had to experience that.
But glad you did come out! That's great for you!

I as a straight woman describe myself as strictly dickly. By the way this video was awesome, you are so adorable!
I was with a LUG in college. So bummed when she ended up being "straight". Oh well. Btw, the "G" in LUG also refers to college graduation. There are a LOT of women who have lesbian relationships in college but then go straight after that.
"Fish Hook" This term could be unique to my childhood friends. I'm a hetero guy and when I was a kid back in the 80s, I ran in many circles. One particular group of friends used to call me their fish hook. Because they were very flannel and work boot wearing ladies, they felt like some girls our age were intimidated by them and that made it hard for them to mingle at some social gatherings. To make it harder, they were kind of shy too. Being teenagers and there were parties going on, it wasn't fair that they should miss out. So they would have me go with them and open up some conversations and invite these new friends to come over to meet my other friends. They openly admitted that at our age, some girls were just scared of walking up to another girl but they hoped to at least meet some nice girls, even if they used a guy as bait. A little later in life, some of my other gay friends invited me to basically do the same thing a few times but they just called me their "token straight friend". Since then, I've never heard the term used by anyone else but when I see a group of friends with ONE straight friend in tow, I suspect that might be their fish hook. 😉 I wasn't a pimp or a matchmaker in any way, as the fish hook, all I did was introduce people to each other. Whatever came from the meeting was up to them.
Beersexual is also another interesting term, engaging in same-sex behavior only under influence of alcohol.
The LUG thing is more of college graduation rather then highschool in my experience.
AHH I LOVE YOU GUYS!! happy last day of pride 🥺🌈
That was fun! I really enjoyed this :3 Das "Tschüss" am Ende war richtig cute und hat mich erst absolut verwirrt. Ich vergess das manchmal einfach während ich dem englischen stuff lausche :D

I'm a transbian who isn't a high femme. I consider myself pretty femme, but I don't wear dresses at this point. I looked for some recently but everything I found was either too small or too large for me. Still finding my style. Just last week, I purged all my guy clothes from my wardrobe except for some t-shirts. Once I find women's versions of those shirts, I'll purge the old ones.
Uh, I am 52 and I have been out for 36 years and have never been with a man except kissing. You two are saying "How can you remember?"! I say, how would you NOT remember that? OMG, do you typically forget sex partners or did you spend your years in a blackout or something? I kissed a guy twice and I remember it very well as NOT a good experience (and I am known for my horrible memory). I can't imagine forgetting sex with a man. I call BS!! You just don't want to admit that you've had sex with a man.
I’m hard of hearing. I thought you said, “ golden peanut.” 😀
That's what I heard, she didn't say that?
Hahaha !!! Much better 😄
No it's men who think they have the "Golden Penis". Aka the penis that will change you back to straight. Ridiculous concept.
Hi guys.. I'm Evi from Greece . Congrats on your channel, just found out about it. I'm a .. "late LAG" ... lol .. ...found out about me being a lesbian after 27 years of marriage (traditional). But I'm fully OUT and competely PROUD about it. Watching your video made me realize that I don't like the word "straight" for the .."other" piece of the population. Why should THEY be straight and not us?? What are we?? crooked??? NO !!! Everybody's .."straight" ...it's just that WE are gay !! Yayyyyyyy..!!!! I agree that there must be another word to describe them. And I don't like "breeders" either, because gay people have children too. I am an activist in a grooup called "the rainbow families" , Greece, and we are fighting for the rights of gay people to parenthood.
That's all from me, congrats again and ..keep up the great work. :)
Hey! Chapstick lesbian! I finally have a word for me!!! Thanks! 😊
Beaver damning LOL I like that one. And Alexis not getting it was even more funny!!!
on tiktok there's a slang for straight ppl it's straggot lol but we say this to the straights who claim to be "so oppressed" (idk where this thought came from, bc they for sure are not oppressed)
STRAGGOT! I'm dead. 😆

There's also the term "Stem" which is a mix of Fem (or femme?) and Stud :)
@@csageo6 butch and femme are fine, you are correct stud has historical ties to specifically the black lesbian community. Some other words for stem could be futch, or androgynous
What’s the big deal with having had sex with a guy. I have a lot of gay men friends who were married to women for years and have no grudges. One friend had his ex-girlfriend (and long time friend) preform his wedding
Saysbian just sounds like perpetuated bi-erasure. The dating pool of men is larger. It's like when you're bi you have to deal with homophobia in your own community. The comments I'd hear from my own family, like "you'll grow out of it" just feel mirrored even in the places you expect acceptance :/ I don't get on apps, and the last time I dated a girl longer than 2 weeks was middle school. I just haven't met someone. Although I was in a 9 year relationship with a man so was off the market for quite a while.

I really don’t belong here and altho my son is Bi as are 2 nieces and I have I lesbian and 1 gay cousin, so I was curious if I knew any slang.
I wanted to tell you that for all that still will unfurl... America has come a Long Way Baby. I am 60 and straight, but I hope you won’t mind my sharing.
My Grandaddy was gay. He was born in 1900 in Maine. He went to Harvard. While he was there there had been a private gay party and a young man tragically went home and killed himself. Harvard could not sweep a dead boy under the rug. So they more or less did a “purge” of half a dozen students suspected of being or acting gay. My Grandaddy married very quickly. It was what nearly all people did in 1920 ... no matter what you wanted.
My Grandmother had been told literally nothing about sex AT ALL. People went to Church on Sundays. Sex was to create a baby, nothing more. Separate bedrooms were also common if you had even a bit of money. This worked out fairly well for my Grandaddy. He could claim he shied away from his baser instincts, his “unseemly lust for her” 🙄😉. Meanwhile her best female confidantes (after a sherry or two) discreetly giggled that they maybe, just maybe Liked sex with their hubby... even when not trying to procreate. We are WASP’s, so we Never talk about anything intimate. Not now and Certainly not then!!! 😱 This left my Grandmother confused and sad. She produced two children and then was left to her Gin & Tonics the rest of her life. You might be thinking, well she had a College Degree she coupe have left him, gotten a job and worked. But say what? There was no Divorce without a few very harsh conditions. Spouse sentenced to life in prison, spouse committed to an Insane Asylum, Failure to consummate the marriage or proven Infidelity. She had no money for a Detective, A Lawyer, no job skills, she’d have to get photos if him in the act with a man which would find her ostracized too. Lastly, women were not legally allowed to open a bank account without their husband’s signature and permission until 1973, 4 years after she died!!!
Grandaddy became Curator of Paintings at the Art Institute of Chicago for 45 years. Wealthy Chicago Wives who hated being snubbed by Boston and New York, essentially said “Go shopping around the world and build us a World Class Museum to rival The Met. Spare no expense.” That meant traveling all over Europe who often were very open to gays. It was Illegal in America to be Gay. If you were caught, you became unemployable, shunned from your Church, your neighbors, friends and most family. As a Mom and Homemaker Grandma mostly stayed home while he was away on business trips. My Grandma died in 1969.
In 1969 Chicago was the ONLY place in America where it was not Illegal to be gay. Once she died, while never making an announcement or coming out as we now say, Grandaddy then began living as a gay man and spending his time in places like Paris or Berlin where he could do as he liked.
Stonewall of course took place and then the 1st Gay Pride Parade. My school friends in the 70’s when they quietly told their parents ALL were thrown out of the house, disowned, shunned, barred from ever going back for a family Holiday meal. Lesbians were much rarer to see (as it were) and it appeared as if their only real option was to stop wearing dresses to church. Play as many sports as Title 9 allowed, wear ever more masculine shirts with jeans and no heels or makeup and to cut their long hair Dorothy Hammill short in 1976. The family would say “Oh she is just a tomboy!” and “Thank goodness she is not Boy Crazy yet!” Still oblivious that their precious daughter was in fact dating her “Best Friend”.
By College 1979 there were Lesbian relationships, but still I never heard of any one “coming out” as my gay guy friends did. It would be another decade before I heard the term Lipstick Lesbian. I was so ignorant, I genuinely thought you were not ... unless you appeared to dress as a man. I adored going Disco Dancing and the guy Gay Clubs always had the BEST DJ’s and set design. Lesbians were still kinda low key until around 1985.
Ellen & Portia and so many shows and people have blossomed into “types of lesbians” as vast as flowers. There is no one look that says: “Hey, I am a lesbian.” and that is perhaps one if the most Beautiful things of all. Everyone can now simply BE.
I believe Love is Love and I loudly and proudly support all my friends. For the millennials who are tormented still by bullying, my whole heart goes out to you. My son certainly has had horrific problems. I just want to promise you that with every decade It Gets Better! Truly. And if you were born to a small minded community or a small town, just you wait until you can spread your wings! The World is becoming a welcoming place and you will be the generation to fix 20,000 years of Human Bigotry.
Should it be perfect now? ABSOLUTELY. But unlike previous centuries YOU will be the ones to really see Freedom ring! Wishing you every happiness!!!
Another fun name for straight peeps : Adaptors / plugs / connectors because the male plug into the female 🤷🏼♀️ lol

Is it. Just me or does all the new slang ,from the gays or straights, come with so many RULES ? It seems so easy to break Tabu,s and say things that are not politically correct resulting in offending someone or being ridiculed .being an elder these days can get some people tongue tied or feeling doubtful about one,s memory.I,m here to tell you it,s not easy ,I wish we could just use sentences to get our thoughts out and take more time talking if that's what it takes to communicate well, does the whole wide world have to take shortcuts to keep up with the computer age?i would just die if I hurt someone's feelings by accident so I think I will just ask people to be patient with me while we are getting to know each other and not worry too much about smiling ,laughing or frowning in response to jargon I don,t understand.....so thank you for the language lesson ,if there were more people like the two of you around to keep communications open it sure would be a more relaxed world.

You guys are my favorite couple, you guys are so adorable. I'm just coming out, a tad bit shy and I love watching your videos it helps me become less shy for coming out. You're awesome! ❤
Congrats! Coming out is difficult and a definitely a process, no matter which closet you are exiting. Please don't let any bumps or obstacles come in the way of becoming the person you really are. One quick word? You may want to transition the word "guys" into a place in your vocabulary where you are referring to two or more people generally of male gender. In the heterosexual world, it is typically fine to call even a couple of women "guys", however, some members of the LGBTQ+ community find the term offensive when it is used in reference to them. Oh, and by the way, YOU'RE awesome!
@@Jhymnbeau Thank you for telling me that, I am so new to this all and I have a few questions I need answers to. Do you not mind me asking you something?
Says-bian is a really really mean term. First of all, you can date guys and still be bi and the other way around too. Second, you can’t choose who you love so maybe you meet a lot of great guys and it just so happens that you date a few guys after another. I get that there are girls who seem like they are just in it for clout or something but at the end of the day that‘s not your problem or your thing to decide on.
Great show. As a senior straight man, I loved the inside knowledge into your community.
I think LUG is referring to college-aged women
You both have pretty brown eyes. Rachael Maddow , ultimate power lesbian!
I am Bi and know "Saysbians". I am with a cis heater man right now but am still Bi
Instead of Stone Butch, I've heard the term "touch-me-not"
cute overload! my friends use the term ‘stem’ a lot. it’s to describe someone who’s in the middle of ‘stud’, or ‘butch’, and a ‘femme’. leaning to one side or the other more would denote ‘hard stem’ and ‘soft stem’
so I would consider Alexis as femme and Lillian as a soft stem. and both very cute and beautiful 😍😆
Stud is meant only for Black community, and therefore stem is as well. It’s a word tied to slavery terms. ⚪️ people shouldn’t use either.
Wow ok ppl dont seem to like saysbian, but like, that totally explains my behavior. It's just so much harder to find a girl, and like why would you go out of your way to find a girl when there's so many great guys that go for you. Not to sound like a pillow princess but yeah ^^
L.U.G. originally meant Lesbian Until Graduation ... from college - not high school! I know 'cause I dated several... What a bore!!! Don't even remember their names now. This is back in the 60s-70s when only a "Kinsey Six" would be out of the closet in high school. The pier pressure against it was sooo strong.
What do you mean "Who remembers? Who's keeping track?" If you're a lesbian, having sex with a man is inherently unpleasant at best and traumatic at worst. It definitely sticks with you. Regardless, someone else having sexual boundaries does not mean that they are insinuating anything negative about the people they are not interested in. It sounds like you are taking your own baggage and negative connotations and attributing it to other people. It's pure projection.
Also, LUG is about graduating from university, not high school. It's pretty common to be in the closet in high school, so that's not what that means. Many women feel more comfortable experimenting when they go away to college, meeting new people and being away from home/parents.
WoW! As much as I have fallen in love with the both of you in less than 5 minutes, a gazillion flashbacks just hit me. I have such twisted feeling about hanging in the community.
Greg Burcham Awwww...💜. How come twisted feelings, friend?... Just curious.
@@deehowe4141 LongStoryShort, Before collage I was already working in and with the the familia. I attended many of mixers and events with the local chapter of the LGBQ (at the time) and, yeah, I was very well received and welcomed, but humans are humans to keep this short, and a few really did not understand the word "No!" even when told by the elders of the community that I was "Off Limits". So lets just say, I have some strong repressed anxieties from the harassment of the male kind. Be they the Bear Cubs, Tweedledee and Tweedleleedii, etc... I don't question my self, I just get aggravated that my communication skill then were not par enough to keep a few strictly at bay.
Greg Burcham Thanks for responding. I do hope things have improved for you and that you are building some positive memories now.
Dear Lilian you should be a hand model. I just followed your hand around hahah
LUG - lesbian until graduation refers to college. Historically, when women leave home and are at college they start experimenting with same-sex relationships, but then after they leave university they may go back to dating men. It’s a bit of an older term i think.
I appreciated this cute run-down. A lot of the terms (not Alexis or Lillian, just the terms themselves!) are *very* gatekeepy, which is too bad. But whatevs, still funny sometimes
