I disagree with the term, “Saysbian.” I identify as Bisexual. If I’m with a man, I’m still bisexual...not straight. And if I’m with a woman, I’m still bisexual...not a lesbian. So I disagree with the term Saysbian...there is probably definitely a chick that person would love to fool around with, but since the dating pool is smaller by default ends up messing with a man. Doesn’t mean she isn’t being honest about wanting to be with women.
🤣🤣🤣 Sorry, but us old folks used the term 'breeders' to refer to straights waaayyy before desktop computers were a thing - and at least a decade before TikTok was a gleam in Zhang Yiming's eye. Thanks for reminding me how old I am though.🤣🤣🤣 🌈👭🏳️🌈Happy Pride!❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤

yes! i think i knew i was a lesbian when i was very young, like 11 years old moving into secondary school. but then because of heteronormativity and men being the only people giving me attention (because i was very unpopular and i guess a few men only wanted to interact with me because they were attracted to me), i second guessed for YEARS. i had sex with men and it never felt pleasurable, i thought people were just exaggerating how good it feels or i was just missing something. things i thought i was experiencing the same as everyone else, i actually wasn't. i got my 1st sx toy about 4 months ago and then i finally realised what it was supposed to feel like, then realised i could only climax when thinking about women. so it took until i was 20 to figure myself out. I am now sure that so many lesbians have thought i was "saybian" but it is not my fault that men (and heteronormativity in general) were manipulating me!!!! i identified as bi for a long time, but I think people doubted me because I never dated a woman, because I don't think any woman has ever been interested in me, or I was too intimidated to initiate anything (now I realise that's because I am actually attracted to women!! it's easier for me to talk to men because im not sxually attracted to them 😂)

"Fish Hook" This term could be unique to my childhood friends. I'm a hetero guy and when I was a kid back in the 80s, I ran in many circles. One particular group of friends used to call me their fish hook. Because they were very flannel and work boot wearing ladies, they felt like some girls our age were intimidated by them and that made it hard for them to mingle at some social gatherings. To make it harder, they were kind of shy too. Being teenagers and there were parties going on, it wasn't fair that they should miss out. So they would have me go with them and open up some conversations and invite these new friends to come over to meet my other friends. They openly admitted that at our age, some girls were just scared of walking up to another girl but they hoped to at least meet some nice girls, even if they used a guy as bait. A little later in life, some of my other gay friends invited me to basically do the same thing a few times but they just called me their "token straight friend". Since then, I've never heard the term used by anyone else but when I see a group of friends with ONE straight friend in tow, I suspect that might be their fish hook. 😉 I wasn't a pimp or a matchmaker in any way, as the fish hook, all I did was introduce people to each other. Whatever came from the meeting was up to them.
In our circle, "Tweener" was a label - not really butch, not femme, somewhere in between. Think sweatshirts, cargo shorts, short hair, but wears light makeup or does their hair every morning before leaving the house.
I hated when my coworker called me a gold star like it was an accomplishment or something. Like who cares? I’m a stone butch and never new it. I would totally be a lag because of being scared of coming out to my parents. Also Stud is a term for women of color so we could add that.

Great video! I was defiantly what you could call a LAG. I didn't come out till I was 19, after I saw what happened to my 2 friends who came out as lesbians. They lost almost all of their friends, except for me and a few others, the one girl's dad was a marine he beat the shit out of her then kicked her out of the house, then our year book had taken a pic of them and instead of just not printing it they blacked out their faces before it went in to be printed out. The other girls parents brought a lawsuit against the school not only foe discriminating on her and her gf for being gay, but also because they were black and Latina. It was just all so fucked up, and terrified me to come out, (except with the few girls I was hooking up with on the DL, they werent out either). But when i did come out at 19 I just felt so much better, and like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders.
You guys are my favorite couple, you guys are so adorable. I'm just coming out, a tad bit shy and I love watching your videos it helps me become less shy for coming out. You're awesome! ❤
Congrats! Coming out is difficult and a definitely a process, no matter which closet you are exiting. Please don't let any bumps or obstacles come in the way of becoming the person you really are. One quick word? You may want to transition the word "guys" into a place in your vocabulary where you are referring to two or more people generally of male gender. In the heterosexual world, it is typically fine to call even a couple of women "guys", however, some members of the LGBTQ+ community find the term offensive when it is used in reference to them. Oh, and by the way, YOU'RE awesome!
@@Jhymnbeau Thank you for telling me that, I am so new to this all and I have a few questions I need answers to. Do you not mind me asking you something?

I'm a transbian who isn't a high femme. I consider myself pretty femme, but I don't wear dresses at this point. I looked for some recently but everything I found was either too small or too large for me. Still finding my style. Just last week, I purged all my guy clothes from my wardrobe except for some t-shirts. Once I find women's versions of those shirts, I'll purge the old ones.
cute overload! my friends use the term ‘stem’ a lot. it’s to describe someone who’s in the middle of ‘stud’, or ‘butch’, and a ‘femme’. leaning to one side or the other more would denote ‘hard stem’ and ‘soft stem’
LUG - lesbian until graduation refers to college. Historically, when women leave home and are at college they start experimenting with same-sex relationships, but then after they leave university they may go back to dating men. It’s a bit of an older term i think.
As weird as this might sound -- but I'm an empath! You two's body language as a couple is so beautiful. It's endearing to even watch. Thanks for sharing!
@@csageo6 butch and femme are fine, you are correct stud has historical ties to specifically the black lesbian community. Some other words for stem could be futch, or androgynous
What do you mean "Who remembers? Who's keeping track?" If you're a lesbian, having sex with a man is inherently unpleasant at best and traumatic at worst. It definitely sticks with you. Regardless, someone else having sexual boundaries does not mean that they are insinuating anything negative about the people they are not interested in. It sounds like you are taking your own baggage and negative connotations and attributing it to other people. It's pure projection. Also, LUG is about graduating from university, not high school. It's pretty common to be in the closet in high school, so that's not what that means. Many women feel more comfortable experimenting when they go away to college, meeting new people and being away from home/parents.
ok idk if they covered this but to simplify everything you got fem(girly girl) stem ( stud or masc and fem as well) and stud, butch, masc( dress boyish very masculine).
I assume someone has caught this already, but I'll say it just in case. LUG (Lesbian Until Graduation) refers to _college_ ! For many _decades_ , young women (especially those who went to all-female colleges) "experimented" and discovered their sexuality, away from their high school friends, away from their hometown and family. But some just seemed to be "playing" at it--they enjoyed having a girlfriend and being in the lesbian community while at school, but weren't going to commit to continuing, coming out, etc. _after_ they graduated. I always assumed some of them were bi or fluid; perhaps others were afraid to admit their true sexuality and were going to try to get married to a man and live a "normal" (het) life. The problem, and hence the label, is that the girls they were with would get seriously hurt--imagine being lovers with someone for 1-4 years and then she suddenly goes back in the closet, or she repudiates your relationship like it was a mistake or just youthful experimenting, or dismisses it as just some fun she had in college and now she's going to look for a man to settle down with. Not because they weren't happy with their girlfriend, but because they were graduating and going home to their family and old friends. Because of "comphet"--"compulsory heterosexuality"...societal pressure to be straight.
What a lovely couple! And you 2 are so fun how you interact together! Loved the video it was entertaining. I agree labels feed into stereotypes but people seem to really like them lol
WoW! As much as I have fallen in love with the both of you in less than 5 minutes, a gazillion flashbacks just hit me. I have such twisted feeling about hanging in the community.
@@deehowe4141 LongStoryShort, Before collage I was already working in and with the the familia. I attended many of mixers and events with the local chapter of the LGBQ (at the time) and, yeah, I was very well received and welcomed, but humans are humans to keep this short, and a few really did not understand the word "No!" even when told by the elders of the community that I was "Off Limits". So lets just say, I have some strong repressed anxieties from the harassment of the male kind. Be they the Bear Cubs, Tweedledee and Tweedleleedii, etc... I don't question my self, I just get aggravated that my communication skill then were not par enough to keep a few strictly at bay.
If you like the female form, no man will do. I do appreciate the sexiness of woman and in a previous life maybe I was a lesbian but that road never opened up for me.

I love you all that are reading this and have no judgements or hate in my heart toward anyone , I only look to learn truth. Where that ends up taking me is another truth I seek. Curious of others thoughts on sexual preferences being something we are born with. Thank for the information I've learned from this video, good job on making this . Hope to see more knowledgeable videos like this in the future .
If memory serves me right, back home (Mexico) in the early 2000’s we used to call “buga” any straight person. Not sure if the term is still used over there...
It actually just means someone who displays both masculine and feminine attributes, and it can be men, women or non-binary people. But stylish and clean cut is a nice add-on ;)
I appreciated this cute run-down. A lot of the terms (not Alexis or Lillian, just the terms themselves!) are *very* gatekeepy, which is too bad. But whatevs, still funny sometimes
Hi guys.. I'm Evi from Greece . Congrats on your channel, just found out about it. I'm a .. "late LAG" ... lol .. ...found out about me being a lesbian after 27 years of marriage (traditional). But I'm fully OUT and competely PROUD about it. Watching your video made me realize that I don't like the word "straight" for the .."other" piece of the population. Why should THEY be straight and not us?? What are we?? crooked??? NO !!! Everybody's .."straight" ...it's just that WE are gay !! Yayyyyyyy..!!!! I agree that there must be another word to describe them. And I don't like "breeders" either, because gay people have children too. I am an activist in a grooup called "the rainbow families" , Greece, and we are fighting for the rights of gay people to parenthood. That's all from me, congrats again and ..keep up the great work. :)
Thanks for the entertaining video! Some of those I've not heard of before. And Lillian, I think you could also qualify as a "boi".... I'm not very fond of the word butch as a descriptor, either.
what do you call someone who was mostly with men in her sexual life, then fell in deep love with a woman for 2 years, and had another lesbian relationship after that and flirted with other women, identified as a lesbian during those 2 years, but then found her way back to men, and 6 years after that, became totally celibate and had no relationships, but considered herself bisexual even though she was celibate? Asking for a friend ;-)
Saysbian just sounds like perpetuated bi-erasure. The dating pool of men is larger. It's like when you're bi you have to deal with homophobia in your own community. The comments I'd hear from my own family, like "you'll grow out of it" just feel mirrored even in the places you expect acceptance :/ I don't get on apps, and the last time I dated a girl longer than 2 weeks was middle school. I just haven't met someone. Although I was in a 9 year relationship with a man so was off the market for quite a while.
Says-bian is a really really mean term. First of all, you can date guys and still be bi and the other way around too. Second, you can’t choose who you love so maybe you meet a lot of great guys and it just so happens that you date a few guys after another. I get that there are girls who seem like they are just in it for clout or something but at the end of the day that‘s not your problem or your thing to decide on.

We should call straight people "The Unbendable's".🤴🏾
😂 down!
but some of us are kinda bendy...
That was fun!
I thought you said 40 years of knowing each other! Man I thought you both agreed really well for a second
I thought she said that too and I was so confused because they look too young for that lol.
Me too!
Once I find women's versions of those shirts, I'll purge the old ones.
cute overload! my friends use the term ‘stem’ a lot. it’s to describe someone who’s in the middle of ‘stud’, or ‘butch’, and a ‘femme’. leaning to one side or the other more would denote ‘hard stem’ and ‘soft stem’
so I would consider Alexis as femme and Lillian as a soft stem. and both very cute and beautiful 😍😆
Stud is meant only for Black community, and therefore stem is as well. It’s a word tied to slavery terms. ⚪️ people shouldn’t use either.
Beaver damning LOL I like that one. And Alexis not getting it was even more funny!!!
YESBIAN: Your best or close lesbian friend whose company you enjoy so much, that u say “YESSS!!” when u hear she’s coming over 🙌🏼
LUG - lesbian until graduation refers to college. Historically, when women leave home and are at college they start experimenting with same-sex relationships, but then after they leave university they may go back to dating men. It’s a bit of an older term i think.
I died when she said, "your friend is building the beaver in between."
Happy Pride Alexis and Lillian! Thank you for being so inspiring to me
As weird as this might sound -- but I'm an empath! You two's body language as a couple is so beautiful. It's endearing to even watch. Thanks for sharing!
Aw, thank you!
As a South African Lesbian it happens so often when guys think they can “fix” you
Beersexual is also another interesting term, engaging in same-sex behavior only under influence of alcohol.
There's also the term "Stem" which is a mix of Fem (or femme?) and Stud :)
Very educational. Love your chemistry.
ok idk if they covered this but to simplify everything you got fem(girly girl) stem ( stud or masc and fem as well) and stud, butch, masc( dress boyish very masculine).
Ihr macht das richtig gut das man sich at home fühlt hier❤🌈
I’m a newly out lesbian so this is nice
Congrats!!
Weird Girl Hugs, Sis💜
Where was this my teen years ?! Thank you never too late.
I think LUG is referring to college-aged women
What a lovely couple! And you 2 are so fun how you interact together! Loved the video it was entertaining. I agree labels feed into stereotypes but people seem to really like them lol
I haven't heard of cliterference, just clam-jamming.
WoW! As much as I have fallen in love with the both of you in less than 5 minutes, a gazillion flashbacks just hit me. I have such twisted feeling about hanging in the community.
Greg Burcham Awwww...💜. How come twisted feelings, friend?... Just curious.
Greg Burcham Thanks for responding. I do hope things have improved for you and that you are building some positive memories now.
If you like the female form, no man will do. I do appreciate the sexiness of woman and in a previous life maybe I was a lesbian but that road never opened up for me.
The term “tribbing” is what us old lesbians called “bumpin uglies”! Lol!😂
@@armymanssg508 give it a rest
ARMYMAN SSG Then why are you here? Go watch videos of your own kind, you are not going to change anybody’s belief systems here with your silly biblical Christian pushing comments!!
Kathy Giffels Riiight??!!! All up in the party and wanna spout biblical quotations to support hate. Oh please!! Pathetic.
Waaaah?
I didn’t ask. I just commented.
You probably didn’t know you would be together in 4 years, with a dog, traveling, with so many followers. Miracle
on tiktok there's a slang for straight ppl it's straggot lol but we say this to the straights who claim to be "so oppressed" (idk where this thought came from, bc they for sure are not oppressed)
STRAGGOT! I'm dead. 😆
yeah they ALWAYS get so offended it's hilarious
straggot or breeder
Beaver dam ... so funny LOL. Love the vid 🥰
i fucking love being a woman who loves loves loves LOVES women !!!!
I am salt and pepper right now. Lilian’s hair is an inspiration. I can’t wait to go silver.
You two are great together, such real characters!!
I think maybe the graduation in LUG is referring to college graduation? Cuz, you know, the stereotype of "experimenting in college"
LUG was always applied during university not high school
I love your hair being brushed up
Dear Lilian you should be a hand model. I just followed your hand around hahah
Stone butch vs. touch-me-nots?
Hey! Chapstick lesbian! I finally have a word for me!!! Thanks! 😊
Congratulations! My wife and I have been together 20 years this year!
I enjoy the debate about people being born or preprogrammed in a way that denotes their sexual preferences . I completely disagree that this is true. Please understand .
I truly appreciate you both. Lots of love and respect from Singapore
If memory serves me right, back home (Mexico) in the early 2000’s we used to call “buga” any straight person. Not sure if the term is still used over there...
"Androgynous. " is someone who is very stylish, clean cut, and more on the masculine side.
Lilian your hair are absolutely amazing today !!!! 💕💕
Thank you kindly! Finally got the hang of bleaching my hair at home 😊
I would love to see more of your lesbian book recommendations/ romantic novels. Love you all 😍😍✨
Love this ! i love you guys🌈 happy pride!
i have to admit i was almost only paying attention to Lilian's hands...damn they look gorgeous I'm jealous
Happy Pride to you both. Also a belated Happy Anniversary! Thanks for sharing all your statements regarding defining gay slang words.
Instead of Stone Butch, I've heard the term "touch-me-not"
I as a straight woman describe myself as strictly dickly. By the way this video was awesome, you are so adorable!
You guys are adorable together really nice video very helpful!
Another fun name for straight peeps : Adaptors / plugs / connectors because the male plug into the female 🤷🏼♀️ lol
Just stumbled upon your channel! 😊 you girls are the freakin' cutest!❤
Thanks for the entertaining video! Some of those I've not heard of before. And Lillian, I think you could also qualify as a "boi".... I'm not very fond of the word butch as a descriptor, either.
I was dating a girl who found out I was bisexual and I found out she was a gold star. She broke up with me.
what do you call someone who was mostly with men in her sexual life, then fell in deep love with a woman for 2 years, and had another lesbian relationship after that and flirted with other women, identified as a lesbian during those 2 years, but then found her way back to men, and 6 years after that, became totally celibate and had no relationships, but considered herself bisexual even though she was celibate? Asking for a friend ;-)
Love your channel just found it today ❤️❤️
Saysbian just sounds like perpetuated bi-erasure. The dating pool of men is larger. It's like when you're bi you have to deal with homophobia in your own community. The comments I'd hear from my own family, like "you'll grow out of it" just feel mirrored even in the places you expect acceptance :/ I don't get on apps, and the last time I dated a girl longer than 2 weeks was middle school. I just haven't met someone. Although I was in a 9 year relationship with a man so was off the market for quite a while.
i think your wedding dresses are going to be super cuuuute!!!! i dont know why i just started thinking about it
Says-bian is a really really mean term.
I absolutely love your videos! You both are a joy to watch. 😊
Good vid 🌈
Love your hair Lilian looks stunning...
Dam South-African boys, they say the same to me 2...
Hell and that irritates the crap out of me, ego idiots i call them 🌻
We have a sweet thing were you complement the girl you are into's hands and if she returns the complement then it means she is a Lesbian and likes u back
So agree about sa boys ..
Happy Pride Ladies 🎉🎇
Found your channel today. Had to subscribe and i am a straight man but just amazing content
