That show how these three clowns are exciting to watch

Clarkson: "The world's most USELESS burglar"
Burglar: *I'm about to ruin this man's whole career*
I was very impressed by his skill
10 secs..
i wonder who he actually was
@@L-8 Lithuanian probably, they never miss a full van of tools. i know, i'm the one :))
@@zandarion Yet the biggest tool was holding the stopwatches
Fun fact: hammond admitted in a recent drivetribe video that the scandinavian flick here was staged, and it took him 10 attempts to actually roll that van.
It also gave him whiplashes even to this day
It's actually quite easy to roll the Suzuki Carry...... everyone has one here in Pakistan and it was produced and sold in Suzuki showrooms upto 2022..... It was very very easy to flip built is great fun to drive
it was kinda obvious...
I mean, pretty much every "Oh hahah I can't believe that just happened" moment on Top Gear is planned
I mean if it had been a real crash, then their reaction to it wouldn't have been so relaxed.
'1!'
'Your van rolled over!'
'I could have been killed!'
'So? You'd have still lost'

Timeless comment. James has a point there.
In my opinion, I don't think Hammond should have had 1 point for that challenge. He didn't get very far and he rolled his van over after one turn. I think really, he should have had minus exactly what he already had. In that challenge, I don't think it said in the envelope you get points for crashing after just one turn.
That was a fantastic Scandinavian flick
Scandinavian flip
Leijonafani is a great way to make the best decision on the way
Leijonafani I
yep
You can really tell it was a classic Scandinavian flick because someone got fucked.
'Well ventilated'
'It had no door on it!!'
Classic :)
AZ_R The best part
Look at his postage stamp go!
😊😊
The race was what each of them do best. Jeremy almost made it to the finish line. James was living up to captain slow. And Hammond just had to crash the van.
😂😂
"I reckon I gonna give it the good old Scandinavian flick"

Clarkson: "The world's most USELESS burglar"
Burglar: *and i took that personally*
Clarkson: "he could be dead!"
Cap Slow: "well there is a police car at the scene of the accident so.."
4:12
JC: Well, if it he's dead and if you are a fancy job on Top Gear, why not write to us at: "I'm better than Richard Hammond was"...
RH: I've made of... a overcooked up a bit...
Jeremy: ...BBC Wood Lane W12 7TS.
I really wonder what Hammond could have gotten if his van hadn't rolled over xD
With enough practice learning the handling characteristics, it should have easily beaten the other two, but still been caught fairly easily
His van was the fastest, so he likely would have won the race giving him 3 points instead of 1. Jeremy Would've gotten 2 instead of 3. Hammond would still have won
Probably finished while officer Stig was at the hammerhead
I have simulated over 100,000 different possible outcomes and in conclusion it was inevitable that Hammond was going to roll the van no matter what.
Another crash probably.
"....the world's most USELESS burglar."
well still a useful one if he needs just 10 seconds and a hammer to get into a transit
@@mipmipmipmipmip He got Jeremy back for that one.
He just walked up and it opened.
2 out of 3 is not bad
mipmipmipmipmip You could get into a Transit by just saying “Open Sesame”
Fun fact: a Scandinavian flick is colloquially known as "Inertia drift", so if Takumi was driving a Suzuki Super Carry, he would've flipped over.
If my old 13 year old self saw this comment I would've thought of something more clever as a response
"it did open"
"it didn't"
"it did when it fell off"
Richard didnt' make it past the hammondhead
And James did, on his first time ever going through it.
If they were a real courier company: Jeremy would buy the van, James would drive it, and Richard would repair it.
I don't think someone wants to wait 3 months for their furnishings to arrive at their new home.
@@aumjayakishatriya2982 I can't think of any way it wouldn't take that long. If James bought and Jeremy drove, the van would be so slow, it'd still take 3 months to make a journey.
I suppose another way might be Richard buys, Jeremy drives, and James repairs, but the van would be too small to be of use, and if it broke, it'd be decades before it was repaired.
@@mattevans4377 yes, but if Jeremy drove he'd floor it until the engine blew. That leaves crash prone Richard.

Clarkson, Hammond, May= the OGs of Top Gear
This is brilliant. The new Top Gear is lifeless and boring. Bring back the lads !
Leigh Pankhurst No need, we've got the grand tour coming up. I really hope they show reruns on TV tho
Leigh Pankhurst 👏well said
Leigh Pankhurst This was back in the peak years when it was amazing. It stopped being funny around 2013, sadly. Should've ended it on a high and left us with the memories.
Will Waterman yeah even now with the grand tour you can tell the boys are getting a bit old for this.
The Bellcaptain I agree. Classic Top Gear was the best thing on TV every Sunday. I think after 2013 it just got too smutty and stupid.
Back when BBC had something worth watching.
Back when Top Gear was at it's finest, not just a motoring show, but an entertaining fun one that was unpredictable and full of comedy laughs.
Just before Hammond stated, "I may have overcooked that a bit", I laughed so much that I sprayed my drink all over the computer screen.

4:12 world's finest obituary ever heard! XD
I love how they set James up - did you notice the 7 or 8 mattresses in the back of his van when he did his run round the track? (3:03) I wonder how much better he'd have done if he'd had it empty. I didn't see if Jeremy or Richard had stuff in theirs, it didn't look like it.
there were crashing sounds when they turned, so they probably did it with a lot of internal cargo as well
Scandinavian Flick xD

I laughed so hard when the van flipped I now feel guilty^^
It was staged
'I may have overcooked that a bit'
Clarkson - "1"
Hammond - "1?"
Clarkson - "Your van rolled over"
Hammond - "I couldn't been killed"
May - "So, you would've still lost"
"Any idiot with a van could get themselves killed"
And Hammond very nearly was killed in the next episode.
"I reckon your gonna do quite well" famous last words 😃
"Well ventilated"
"It had no door on it!" loll
And James, you get, minus FOUR MILLION.. LOL XD
There was some challenge where they kept scoring Richard minus a thousand points in every single category, and then Jeremy still ended up with a worse score. 🤣
I laughed with tears running down my face
Hammond recently released a video on DRIVETRIBE where he admit rolling his van was planned. It in fact took ten tries to achieve. And he suffers whiplash from it.
"I could have been killed!"
"So, you still would've lost.""

Hammond's van looked so cool! Here in Canada, we sadly get the imported 'leftover' cars from our American neighbours :(
Ironic, since we get the imported cars of newer years
"I could have been killed."
He should have saved that until the next year.
"Just put the van in your pocket!" I lost it there xD
Epic banter between this trio of dudes
"that means im second"
"hes lost... so um, richard could be dead"

"There goes Fingers Clarkson with his haul......" Awesome.
Now that’s more like a Vandinavian flip
"Now its mid engine so i reckon im gonna give it a bit of the old scandinavian flick"
He basically jinxed it saying that as its then 3 2 1 and it rolls over.
3:02 James still has all the matresses in the back
The van already was slow enough so I’m surprised they put the mattresses in
he should just put in: MEET JEREMY CLARKSON and he would get alot of replies

Sony Trinitron just don’t go around a sharp turn with the throttle completely open! :D
I drove one for many years and could jump with it. Fits and handles like a glove. Very lightweight, so lean into the corners.
Richard was making a major Scandinavian Flick that was meant to avoid a whole herd of reindeer. I never ran into that.
