Guardian Tales is definitely one of if not the most F2P friendly gacha games. It's on mobile and switch. Note that the switch version is only on World 15. Meanwhile, mobile is about to start season 3 with World 19. That and different publishers with Kakao Games doing the WW mobile version and Kong Studios doing Japanese mobile and WW Switch versions.
No doubt for azur lane. I've played the game for almost 5 years and it is still generous. And i appreciate for Arknight's Developer and Nikke's developer because both of them can use their revenue well to create paid non live service game like Ex Astris and Stellar Blade Hope the other gacha game Developers can do the same thing not just relying on addictive gacha system
Azur Lane is so "generous" that people can't even use basic game features like dock spaces or dormitory without paying real money... Lmao, Azur lane fans are so delusional it's unreal. And no, I couldn't care less about 70%+ of ships, they're all the same and irrelevant without skins, which is why I don't understand why devs are so greedy and won't just give everyone unlimited free dock and dormitory just for playing the game, they make all of their money from selling skins so where's the logic? If anything, this is one of stingiest games, I don't care if I can pull many ships WHEN I CAN'T STORE THEM.
Eversoul should definitely be on the list. Dev will give out 1000gems (2100gems for 10pulls btw) randomly time-to-time (without any reason to do so). They also gave out over 100 pulls during their 1st anniversary. Also, JP server is releasing soon on end May 2024, with new contents releasing soon. Would you be doing another review on Eversoul soon?
eversoul yes they give gems for every thing like ranker placed a new record here 100gems i just download it like after year today there is a welcome party and i pulled and got all 3 limited banner characters and 2 normal banner characters as well

@@fresiota6662 I like characters and game play as well it so nice I wish there were English dub as well only down side is there is some times too much to do like dungeon and town management and stuff but u get rewarded I mean outings are important feature I don't mind them
Aether Gazer's 1st anniversary brings 100% rate up banner, with a pity of 90 pulls costing 18k shifted stars. It's more f2p because getting an off rate S rank doesn't restart the pity until you get the guaranteed one and your pulls carry-over. The signature functors are forever available in the game, so you can pull for them whenever you feel like it, they're also farmable for A ranks.
PGR 100% rate new debut character 60 pity 80% selector signature weapon 30 pity Free selector every 6months EZ itemization no more bullshit rng stat gacha How about that ? But yea can't argue about taste
@@WesaReti-dy4tx There's no denying it, it's the most f2p Gacha game out there, been playing it since 2021. I agree with you but I dropped PGR, for WuWa. For me, it's just better to get the guaranteed S rank and off rates along the way to pity, both games are awesome!
@@WesaReti-dy4tx I won't argue that the debut omn banner is unbeatable, but PGR has certainly gone downhill in the F2P-friendliness department since launch. First, SS became more important for units to feel smooth when playing - still acceptable since PPC skulls exist. Then sig weapons became significantly more important in improving damage and QoL (especially now with sigs being able to equip memories), eventually followed by introduction of sig CUBs (sometimes important) and finally, the SS3 system which resulted in Daren being too weak if not SS3. Thankfully, CN must've complained to kuro as since then, other gen 2 units weren't as hamstrung without SS3 as Deren was, but you can clearly see kuro getting greedier over time and only relenting when the playerbase pushed back. Do you have to pull for all of that? No, but enjoy having your units feeling a little wonky in one way or another without their sig. Don't hope to perform superbly in PPC and WZ either. Thankfully there's no BC locked behind leaderboards but you'll still miss out on some PPC skulls, and WZ currency for resos and Leaps. It is still undeniably a more competitive game than AG, which, if at all, only has avatar frame cosmetics locked behind leaderboards. Regarding "no more bullshit RNG stat gacha", pretty sure the substats for memory reso are RNG just like Aether Gazer (unless you have those WZ mats which are heavily time-gated), so not sure what you mean by that. Ignoring gameplay as it's subjective, PGR is better in some ways but also worse in other ways compared to AG. However, PGR has been getting worse while AG has been improving and here you are trying to one-up someone who praised AG. When was the last time PGR made a significant positive change that made the game more F2P-friendly? For example, did you know they made farming for 5* weapon currency worse, if not downright removed it altogether in CN co-op? Idk if global has had the same changes though.
Brown Dust 2 should be in this list. I spent nothing on the game and pretty much got all the limited banner characters since I started playing. The game gives you 10 more pulls for getting the limited character too
Snowbreak! Can sweep most content for daily/weekly currency. Dupes can be FTP farmed. Energy system is not required for almost all replayable content. Seems most of the revenue is being generated through super sexy skins with standard skins being already pretty sexy.
the sexy skins limited time purchases or can you buy them anytime? i don't wanna start playing it only to find the sexiest costume will only be back for sale a year later or never.
@@f.b.l.9813 They are limited, but reruns frequently and I think they officially announced they are releasing all skins at discounted prices during anniversary, happening soon. Now is a great time to start to build your account a bit before anniversary starts.
@@f.b.l.9813 uhm I think the skin will be able to buy when the charcter comeback, normally each character will comeback after 3 version, for example katya is released in 1.5 and comback in 1.8(current version). And the skins will also able to buy in that time. Also, 20th July is the anniversary, probably in that version all the skins will be able to purchase! BTW I just played about half of month so I did not really know about the skins availability issue, and I want the sexy fenny and katya skin to come back so bad XDD
Brown Dust 2 is extremelay F2P friendly. They literally shower you in premium currency and draw tickets, including giving you a free 10 pull every time you pull the banner character. And they're currently celebrating their first anniversary, too, so it's a great time to jump in
I RECOMMEND ALCHEMY STARS!!! It has SO MUCH QoL that has made the game more enjoyable than it was on launch, it has a LOT of end game content and is constantly coming out with fun enjoyable and difficult content. on top of that, new battle mechanics have really freshened up the tile matching mechanic and have added more depth to them with Dark Tiles. The game is in such a good spot imo and I think it's worth going back for anyone that may have dropped off with it or stopped playing. Also the new home screen looks fantastic
your first gacha game? oooof, just be sure to stay F2P and if you get burned out from playing the game daily, just take a break from playing it for a few days or week or else you'd end up hating the game while still playing it for fear or losing out on "limited premium currencies" lessons I learned from playing genshin.
for me the most f2p friendly would be Langrisser M. pretty old game and niche (trpg like fire emblem), and u dont need to pull every single banner since some starters can be upgraded into top tier units
Star Rail gives 10 tickets every patch. Still fresh in my mind after getting Gepard at 70+ pulls, before the banner end I managed to pull Jingliu last month at also 70+ pulls. It's not blatantly giving stuffs like other games, but you just somehow got enough pulls to guarantee. (Day 1 player btw so you can't argue me being new player luck or whatever)
I started the game 1 week later and will say characters are great but the story also been PEAK so far in all the main story specifically with penocony and so far I been able to balance to get characters I want and then there own light cones but yeah I been having fun in hsr so far I have no complaints
@@claudioanimemaniac If you watch the video, Stix seems not playing them mostly heard of what other people said, with the exception like Arknights, Nikke, Blue Archive, Azure Lane. And I can safely said Star Rail also f2p friendly since I plays it regularly. Because if you want to truly explain, you need to know the in and out.
@@camtoantran8128 I tried Blue Archive and Nikke, both gives a ton more than Star Rail, but to me it doesn't feel f2p. For Nikke you need dupes to ascent, while for Blue Archive I pulled 200 and still not getting the rate up character that I had the need to use the points accumulated to redeem that summer character. I hadn't comeback to both game since. In conclusion, for me both the amount of pull and the pity system I should say is the factors I considered Star Rail f2p. I don't have to either pull for dupes or reaching 190 pulls. That said, what's YOUR criteria to be considered f2p? Surely you have one or two criteria.
People say that HSR is generous compared to Genshin. This is only partially true. Yes you get more rewards, but Star Rail releases new characters way faster and the older ones get powercrept in an extreme way. You dont HAVE to use the new limited character to beat the story, but the give you a lot of qol. They also change the meta A LOT. We went from Hypercarry Hunt to Hypercarry Destruction to DOT to whatever op meta Acheron is to now a Break effect meta. The new enemies always reflect, what new characters excel at. You can play it completely f2p, but not getting the monthly pass or battlepass makes the progress feel like a slog. Especially at endgame. It also falls into the Genshin trap of progression: For day 1 players there are 5-6 weeks between patches. Time, people can use to upgrade their team/s. New players might keep up with the lvl requirements, but after each patch you feel the higher difficulty for certain teams. There are bosses that are straight up unbeatable, if you dont have at least one decently built team at endgame lvl. So people get tempted to pull for the shiny new characters, that lets them straight up IGNORE boss mechanics. (Fu Xuan, Aventurine, Ruan Mei, Acheron etc.)
As a new player you get tons of jades but have to plan wisely what to buy, because later jades are hard to get as a F2P, I'm only buying monthly pack and that is not enough amount for the 20 days banner rotation, this is my 1 month experience, I think as you get stronger can farm more jades from things like MoC
@@sempiterno3243 tbh you can get to moc 8 or 10 easily as f2p. If you spend money you only get the extra 60 or 120 jades. Pure fiction is honestly easy to complete. You just have to use the right buff for you team. I would ALWAYS recommend limited 5 star Sustain. Especially Fu xuan and Aventurine atm as a new player. You can always get even decent damage with the right relics. With sustain you dont even have to think about survivability.
@@Ugotsomemilk I have Aventurine and Im thinking to get Fu Xuan for a second team, with Fu I can use the other 4 star units I have, the thing is I also want Firefly and Silver Wolf for my Acheron, seems impossible u_u
I started playing on General's banner (completely f2p) and I always pull for whoever I want or whoever makes them work. As of now I have almost everyone I planned to get (and few I didnt, like E2S1 Acheron and Aventurine). I would say I was lucky, few early 5* here and there. Since I like to build whoever and however I want, later stages of MoC were kinda nuisance to beat till recently (getting Aventurine), some bosses indeed require you to use specific characters (like meme/dino with DoT and newest weekly boss forces you to use characters with high break efficiency).
Absolutely agreed. Apart from the manifestations, every F2P aspect of the game can be had in a relatively short amount of time. Of course, the skins aren't F2P but the devs have to make their money somehow.
I wondering the same, why is it not on the list ? Also, where is Genshin Impact ? you get in the game so much for free, the leveling of the characters and the gear is so easy, the cash shop is almost invisable.
How is that a good gacha system lol costumes who require to be +5 to gain full potential and character who need multiple costumes to be viable like rou
@@CasPer-mo7uh ? PvP has nothing to do with the gacha system. In pve don't need to +5 everything for most cases, you only care for better gear. Only Fiend hunter bosses require a lot of investment if you care to rank higher.
@@CasPer-mo7uh You are missing the point, the game is generous with currency and pulls, can get characters from the pub, or once the banner is gone is available in the powder of hope if is not limited.
Just curious, has Snowbreak really improved so much since launch? I dropped it shortly after launch as I didn't have a good PC and the mobile client wasn't well-optimized. Also wasn't too happy with how they copied Genshin's gacha system and though improved compared to genshin, the rates are still pretty bad for a non-open world game. It was fun though, I liked the idea of a gacha third person shooter. On a related note, I saw some comments on reddit joking about how GFL2's constant angering of their playerbase with the NTR backlash contributed to Snowbreak's rise in popularity lmao. This is of course on top of Seasun trying to turn things around by going the fanservice route and succeeding.
My friend plays Blue Archive and He said he will give a shot a Honkai Star Rail if I give a shot for Blue Archive after this videao Ill go for it I don't like starting to play so long after the premiere though.
I actually disagree with Nikka being free to play friendly unless you reroll. The Pilgrim Tower is a giant random gatekeep, You can get hard walled in PVP, the extreme random nature of equipment and house stingy it is through special interception makes it to where not having great units will put you months behind content. Also the $60 buy-in skin gotcha is the most horrid feature I have ever seen in a game. I'm not calling the game bad I'm still playing actively and I'm completely free to play. But I do feel people are so scared of criticizing the game is why it still has some of these horrible mechanics. It's a great game that idle game progression works against all the other features of the game.
I got burnt out on HSR but it’s honestly pretty decent with its monetization and gacha system. I’d say it’s F2P friendly. Just don’t expect to get every character, which is a mindset you should have to begin with if you’re going into gacha games. I have some friends playing HSR who haven’t spent a dollar and they’ve managed to beat all content while getting units they like design wise.
@@camtoantran8128 I’m not talking about the story, that’s made for everyone to beat with little to no investment in any characters. I mean the actual end game content that are much more difficult. There’s plenty of people beating it will very low end characters. It may not be the best indicator of whether or not something is F2P friendly, but what else would be other than them just throwing every character at you. At the end of the day, it’s still a game and if you can beat all its content for free, it’s F2P friendly enough. There are many games that make it near impossible to beat without grinding forever, getting extremely lucky, or paying money. HSR is pretty respectful with your time. Also to answer your question, I’ve played many gachas on and off for years now, most of the notable ones released since 2018 when I started paying more attention to the genre. Started with Puzzles and Dragon 8 years ago lol. 👴🏼
Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis (On PC/Steam) and I just started playing it for the throwback since the past nostalgic PSO Xbox and PSP. Another Eden is one i will personally recommend, i have not added any cash at the exception of me supporting the developers with 5 dlls, and i have very Over Power characters, its rich on story and great on DLC's, awesome 2d RPG
Dokkan during annis you can get an endgame capable account with max level units in like 5 days if you really really work for it. or like 2-3 weeks if you don’t and you don’t even need duped units either. Its like if you took the amount of premium games like ba and nikke give away but removed the dumb account level restriction for unit levels.
I just started Ather Gazer back idk how that will go, but wuthering waves and snowbreak, so far snowbreak you can earn the most gems in for free. Battle pass wise Ather Gazer has more gems a freakin 1,000 right out the gate absolutely insane. Idk how many free gems you can get free to play in that game though. The 1,000 is for paying, but i've never seen a battle pass with 1,000 paid gems up front.
@@cocobos just like every gatcha at their release. The biggest gatcha name started with no that much ressources and develop everything with time (SW being the biggest example going from standard gatcha to most f2p friendly gatcha game currently).
Reverse 1999 is very F2P-friendly imo. 1. No PvP 2. Can clear most content even with free characters given. 3. Lots of rewards(clear-able content)/ major patch e.g Gems/Unilogs/Free Psychubes etc
and then there's arknight which has the same issues. you can only add friends and currently in CN server there is a momentary coop event, yet it still much more fun to play then gacha games with global chat, guild etc
I have been getting random special 3 stars in Atelier Resleriana. I got 8 already without spending a single cent. I looked at the 3 star rate of the game, and it was 4%! The highest I've seen so far in a gacha game. Imagine making 100 pulls in a paid session. Virtually 4 of them might be 3 stars.
Honkai impact 3rd is also f2p friendly, we just got another S rank Herscherr of Origin for free. Chars banner in hi3 only have 5 unit: 4A ranks and 1 S rank, so no 50/50 involve. The amount of crystal you can get alow you to get 1 new S rank/2 -3 patch, and some S rank (even new) can be farm.
played that one on Steam, it's horrible. Gear farming is dumb, I don't trust the gaming stats and the ladies are ugly and outdated. Oh and it's far from f2p friendly as you need dupes for gear and waifu's.
@@CasPer-mo7uh getting all the costumes can make the game easy you dont need +5 costumes you need to collect the costume and the summer event and their half anniversary they gave a 300 pulls for everyone just to get a Limited Costumes im still f2p in the game but i can beat all the chapters.
Because its not even close to generous, giving ppl pulls some pulls when u need 200 pulls for 1 copy and +0 is useless af, this is not what u call generous
@@redlotus1353 The 200 hard pity is the only "bad" aspect of BD2. The rest is super generous; they constantly give pulls and gems every event. Cash back: each time you pull the character from the current banner you get 10 pulls for free. You can save a lot of currency in very short amount of time.
@@exanoid1end game content and high rank pvp requires +5 certain character like rou are fine on +3 already but it’s definitely far far away from f2p friendly
Arknights: Hard pity is indeed at 99 pulls, but you will almost never get there. You have 2% base chance to get a 6* character. Which is increased by 2% every pull after 50 until it reaches 100% at 99 pull. But realisticatlly, you have to be uber-unlucky to ever get there. When you are pulling with 30% 50%, 70% chance you will have to be a wizard not to pull something in the remaining 20 pulls. :D This pity transfers between all non-limited banners, so you will get 6* regularly just by playing. Realistically, 2% base is already so generous that you rarely get to even 50 pulls (where the soft pity kicks in). CORRECTION: "Every banner guarantees 5* or 6* on your first pull". Not true - within the first 10 pulls. The optimal strategy is to pull every banner until 5-6 star and then save everything else for limited characters only. Because of how generous this system is - you will get all non-limited heroes within a year maximum. The also release special events at lest twice a year where you get 20 free pulls, and you get premium currency rather fast.
And yet a certain former arknight cc who now created content for HSR made an idiot excuse of quitting arknight because of how bad the arknight gacha system is
@@arumi9410 I mean I can't care less about content creators. I am sharing my experience. Over 3 years I probably spent $300 on Arknights, which is a good value for a game worth tens of thousands of hours. But I played HSR on release and quickly found that if I want to get every limited character at least 1 copy I would be spending $50-$150 every 2-3 weeks because of how stingy Hoyoverse is. And that is without getting into copies/artifacts. In arknights, 1 copy of a character is 10-20% weaker than full-potency hero. The difference is negligible. But in HSR or Genshin you are looking at 70-80% weaker. So it actually isn't even worth getting sometimes. This is insane greed.
I really like Neural Cloud at first but this game really was something. One "so called stage" was in fact 20 Stages in one and this times 14 or more. It was just too much.
ok, whjy is everytime people talk about Nikke, they say it has best narrative? what is it? I didnt play the game, so i dont know, but how can a game looking like that is known for its "narrative"???
Azur Lane is beyond brilliant. It truly is incredibly player friendly. I've played since about a year after it was first released and it's the only mobile game that i have stuck with.
Yeah bro it's so friendly towards people who didn't play for 6+ years and didn't benefit from all the free gems they gave out that now dried up because of course why would they give you free skins, ignore that vital part of the game that is dock is also locked behind gems for no reason.
It used to be but netmarble slashed the drop rates and continually increased the gap between ftp and whale players, It famously drove a lot of whales off as the game outpriced even them.
Dokkan Battle is pretty F2P friendly as well. They have so many events that can help beginning players and they give out a lot of Dragon Stones as well
All well and good for anyone who finds it visually appealing, but I'm not a Japanese cartoon, anime, or Waifu fan. I've been playing RAID Shadow Legends and Watcher Of Realms and I like the graphics animation and Asthetics, but they are two top tier money spending games. I was just interested in something free
gfl is a hardcore af..i can safely say it is pure torture..the last time i play im stuck in the core hell phase..havent play it for 3 years i recalled..
Idk what it is about PGR, but I just can't get hooked. And that's with me agreeing that the action combat being the best in the genre, and with the game being very generous. Like, I got my Crimson Weave and her team fully kitted out and have a blast with her, it's just that, idk. I think it may be because of the game's content feeling same-y, and the low production quality of the story.
Epic 7 for sure. It's a game that's showing its age, so it definitely helps to check out a guide or two when starting up, but you can put together a decent roster that'll compete with established players within a month. The fact that the shop packs are such terrible value also makes you less likely to every buy anything.😂 😂
I can't think of any other f2p friendly gachas, I know Epic Seven can have a f2p start, but is just a grind afterwards. Almost forgot about AFK Arena and Journey, they're pretty f2p friendly, at least for new players. Not sure about long term players
Genshin is notoriously stingy as far as Gachas go, the only reason many people feel it's generous is 2 reasons, it's their first gacha game so they have no point of reference and 2nd is there's no hard content in the game or barely end-game at all so you rarely feel incentivized to get that "next new powerful" character, unless you just want to collect characters and have nothing to use them on.
It's in some ways better than Nikke tbh. Nikke doesn't have a hard pity so if you don't have 200 mileage saved up it can be quite painful. Also Pilgrims are kinda OP. There's also the infamous 160 wall, which can take varying amounts of time to overcome depending on your luck. Overall though, I'd say Nikke is probably still a little better if you save your mileage for Pilgrim banners. AG will get more generous soon with the introduction of the new 90 hard pity debut modifier banner, no 50/50 for this banner. We also get one S rank selector and one meta unit per year - for year 1 we got Jinwu and are likely going to get an S rank selector for global's 1st anniversary. The devs actually got more generous this year in CN too as they're not just giving S Verthandi for free, but her sig as well.
I’d have to say Epic 7 is definitely in the top 5 for f2p friendly gacha games. Not only do new and returning players get near end game pve gear to help you with story but you can get selectors for 2 ml5s which would normally take a long time for a person to save enough for pity. Usually every update has some qol that gives those players more free stuff to progress. Content creators for the game have also been able to reach high levels in pvp on accounts only 15 days old. Not to mention they do give a ton of free summons during events and anniversaries for each server
The character gacha is basically genshin's but with slightly better rates and lower pity, you'd expect better from kuro (even for an open-world game) but you should probably expect gacha developers to be greedy in one way or another. It's definitely worse than PGR, but on the other hand, you don't have to compete with players in PPC or WZ. The weapon gacha is way better than genshin's though, you will always get the banner weapon at pity, no 50/50. It seems the characters and weapons are on separate banners so you can't hope to get spooked by a 4* weapon when pulling for characters, which is a double-edged sword (pun intended). Btw I hope you liked genshin's artifact substat RNG, because it's in WuWa as well. Kuro said they'd improve the system but it's still going to be shit when it releases, just less shit than it was in the CBT. I like how they made it a less fun experience instead of minimizing the things players hated about genshin. TLDR: it's basically genshin but more combat-oriented and a little more generous, and the devs are almost definitely better listeners than hoyo, but that's an extremely low bar to clear.
@@dikafirmansyah6779 I think you underestimate how much money even very gentle gachas (Arknights, Azure Lane) make. It's tens of millions per month -more than enough to keep the development going.
PGR LETS GOOO I am playing it and having a blast in gacha games, you usually get overwhelmed as a beginner, but this feel perfectly paced and its super fun to play with! Even the pricing is reasonable (for me at least)
I dont know how to feel about nikke on the list since just to get to later parts of the story and get more power you need to get 4 copies of 5 characters which also means sr's dont work. And as f2p dont even think about pvp as even with 4 copies, to max them out its a total of what...14 copies? Its cause of that that the game gets so much money from whales lol.
I've cleared up 'til chapter 24 so far, making my way into chapter 25 and have had an issue with only 1 fight - the whale boss. Otherwise, I'm powering through it without issue, I've core2/core4 my entire main roster of characters, only spending money to guarantee I get the new Waifu's as they release. But I could've achieved a lot without spending money as well. Like I said though, NIKKE's "Free to play friendliness is not for the same reasons as the other games listed."
f2p's don't even think about pvp at all leave it to the super whales to duke it out there 😂 but normal ch 29-30 is easily clearable even with huge cp deficit with the new OP defender Pilgrim Crown, the good ol Liter, your 2 strongest dps and healer Naga/Rapu. the new campaign lineup performs very well. pretty much just playing the devs shower you will so much rewards.
been there as well thinking I'd never be able to clear higher stages. but with lots of patience, idling, grinding events, pushing campaign and hoarding core dusts managed to keep pushing through story chapter with huge cp deficits. fiddling around with units to take advantage of rapture weaknesses especially those annoying shielded and electric code weak raptures at later stages
You don't, they're all delusional clowns, Azur Lane is incredibly f2p hostile, they want to force you to pay real money just so you can keep ships that you get from the OH SO GENEROUS gacha....
Dokkan battle has been absolutely phenomenal when it comes to F2P they give out 300+ stones every month and during anniversary’s they give out 1k+ stones
Enjoyed the video! For free-to-play players, it would be helpful to know more about the impact of in-app purchases on character strength in Nikke. Transparency around monetization helps viewers decide if the game aligns with their playstyle.
you mean if you constantly need dupes on Nikkes through buying currency? if that´s the matter, then not really, dupes add stats, and those are most for pvp, most units can be obtained in special banner, with lower rate than main one, but with so much currency you´ll be constantly getting new and new and dupes can be bought in store too
@blackabalah Just 1 correction, you still need at least 5 Nikkes of the highest rarity with 3 dupes each to pass the level wall, and Nikke is, summarised a little poorly, a DPS check game. Meta characters are VERY important to your account, unlike Azur Lane, where I usually just insert 6 of my favourite shipgirls in a team, and they'll pretty much take care of business. (My favourite team was Belfast, Eldridge, Helena, Hood, Enterprise and Illustrious)

No doubt for azur lane. I've played the game for almost 5 years and it is still generous.
And i appreciate for Arknight's Developer and Nikke's developer because both of them can use their revenue well to create paid non live service game like Ex Astris and Stellar Blade
Hope the other gacha game Developers can do the same thing not just relying on addictive gacha system
Ex astris just got an update too. A huge one.

@@Stixxy Nikke has that affect on the cultured
Aether Gazer's 1st anniversary brings 100% rate up banner, with a pity of 90 pulls costing 18k shifted stars. It's more f2p because getting an off rate S rank doesn't restart the pity until you get the guaranteed one and your pulls carry-over. The signature functors are forever available in the game, so you can pull for them whenever you feel like it, they're also farmable for A ranks.
PGR
100% rate new debut character 60 pity
80% selector signature weapon 30 pity
Free selector every 6months
EZ itemization no more bullshit rng stat gacha
How about that ?
But yea can't argue about taste
@@WesaReti-dy4tx There's no denying it, it's the most f2p Gacha game out there, been playing it since 2021. I agree with you but I dropped PGR, for WuWa.
For me, it's just better to get the guaranteed S rank and off rates along the way to pity, both games are awesome!
Fr fr
Oh yes wuwa
See you there then !
The game gives you 10 more pulls for getting the limited character too
Yeah I even get roxy weapon in a singlepoll
Snowbreak! Can sweep most content for daily/weekly currency. Dupes can be FTP farmed. Energy system is not required for almost all replayable content. Seems most of the revenue is being generated through super sexy skins with standard skins being already pretty sexy.
I tried to get into it. Rerolled nine times with a 10-pull for a five star but gave up.
Limbus Company felt like it had more better rates.
the sexy skins limited time purchases or can you buy them anytime? i don't wanna start playing it only to find the sexiest costume will only be back for sale a year later or never.

Why is Reverse 1999 not here? I feel like it's pretty f2p unless I'm missing some kind of predatory tactics they've been using 💀
Nikke, can´t wait to see more of it´s story, that´s my favorite, then Guardian Tales for the story too
Been wanting to get into a gacha game so highly appreciate this video!
your first gacha game? oooof, just be sure to stay F2P and if you get burned out from playing the game daily, just take a break from playing it for a few days or week or else you'd end up hating the game while still playing it for fear or losing out on "limited premium currencies" lessons I learned from playing genshin.
for me the most f2p friendly would be Langrisser M. pretty old game and niche (trpg like fire emblem), and u dont need to pull every single banner since some starters can be upgraded into top tier units
@@nurusds3agreed much agreed 👍
i feel it isnt f2p at all, giving many pull isnt mean it f2p v:
@@sempiterno3243 yep and thats how they get you. 2.0+ was horrible for f2p because skipping felt really bad
What about Snowbreak?
Absolutely agreed. Apart from the manifestations, every F2P aspect of the game can be had in a relatively short amount of time. Of course, the skins aren't F2P but the devs have to make their money somehow.
I wondering the same, why is it not on the list ?
Also, where is Genshin Impact ? you get in the game so much for free, the leveling of the characters and the gear is so easy, the cash shop is almost invisable.

Bro it's not snowbreak it's SNOWPEAK
It’s easy to catch up!
Arknights for sure ❤

Should've included HSR?
HSR also very f2p friendly
not at all v: the game does give you more free pull, but it doesnt mean f2p friendly
@@ICM9 How many gacha games have you played? (need to play at least 1 year to count)

SW.. Summoners War?
I knew all these games woudld make the list without watching the video, but alas, the Thumbnail...

Not sure about long term players
shout outs to brown dust 2 boisss collab and 1 year anniversary hypee
Broooo EPIC 7 BEST GACHA
That's a fine sauce, like good ol' rum
Hehe yup..
Oh dear, you mention Limbus Company... The comment section will be swarmed by sleeping agents.
I also consider Aether Gazer a F2P friendly game.
kind of surprised you didnt put hsr or genshin on here. do you prefer 2d over 3d? from what i remember your favorite games were 2d gachas.
Not at all! I live both Genshin and HSR! But they’re definitely not overly f2p friendly haha.
@@Stixxy Yeah you're definitely right. I've really only played these two games so I don't really know how f2p friendly other gachas are.
What about Aether Gazer though? Sure its not the same level as Nikke, but it is really F2P friendly.
The devs actually got more generous this year in CN too as they're not just giving S Verthandi for free, but her sig as well.
surprised i dont see snow break, while it have mihoyo esc gacha mechanics, they give alot of tickets to pull
I'm surprised I didn't see anyone mentioning afk journey here. My guild is in the top 10 and majority of us are f2p.
Hard pity used to be 300 pulls in Arknights 💀
Arknights is a f2p friendly gacha...... if you are a disciplined person. If you don't, this game can drain your money much quicker than any other
You left out Eversoul. Great game with a lot of “ Plot”. A LOT!!
None of you did not play Limbus Company
boring
@@miguelorozco4445 yea that true
Do you know if Wuthering Waves will be as friendly as PGR or worse?
It will be more greedy than PGR. Because Wuthering waves is open world and it will need more revenue to develop the game for sure.
WuWa has Genshin 50/50 gacha, so it won't be as friendly as PGR.
With all those massive marketing.
They definitely have to make more money than what PGR could do to keep the development and the game alive.
@@dikafirmansyah6779 I think you underestimate how much money even very gentle gachas (Arknights, Azure Lane) make. It's tens of millions per month -more than enough to keep the development going.
Azur Lane f2p for the longest time until I saw that NJ & Yorktown 2 swimsuit then Bocchi Bunny suit I had to open up my wallet 😂
Nikke friendly gacha ?? u forgot the fact spend money for clear main story ?
I'm at Chapter 25 and haven't had to spend anything if I didn't want to.
Project Moon sleeper agents activate.
Aether Gazer
PGR LETS GOOO
I am playing it and having a blast
in gacha games, you usually get overwhelmed as a beginner, but this feel perfectly paced and its super fun to play with! Even the pricing is reasonable (for me at least)
azur lane my beloved
Some how I feel free to play and gacha don't go together real well😂
Sad that you didnt talk about brown dust 2
@@skyMcWeeds im still in chapter 23 with like 160k power
been there as well thinking I'd never be able to clear higher stages. but with lots of patience, idling, grinding events, pushing campaign and hoarding core dusts managed to keep pushing through story chapter with huge cp deficits. fiddling around with units to take advantage of rapture weaknesses especially those annoying shielded and electric code weak raptures at later stages
Brown dust 2
stix didnt u make a video a year ago spending like 1k on nikke?😂
AZUR LANE players enlighten me how to manage dock space as f2p😢
You don't, they're all delusional clowns, Azur Lane is incredibly f2p hostile, they want to force you to pay real money just so you can keep ships that you get from the OH SO GENEROUS gacha....
Dokkan battle has been absolutely phenomenal when it comes to F2P they give out 300+ stones every month and during anniversary’s they give out 1k+ stones
Are you Braindead?
Enjoyed the video! For free-to-play players, it would be helpful to know more about the impact of in-app purchases on character strength in Nikke. Transparency around monetization helps viewers decide if the game aligns with their playstyle.
you mean if you constantly need dupes on Nikkes through buying currency?
if that´s the matter, then not really, dupes add stats, and those are most for pvp,
most units can be obtained in special banner, with lower rate than main one, but with so much currency you´ll be constantly getting new and new and dupes can be bought in store too
@blackabalah Just 1 correction, you still need at least 5 Nikkes of the highest rarity with 3 dupes each to pass the level wall, and Nikke is, summarised a little poorly, a DPS check game.
Meta characters are VERY important to your account, unlike Azur Lane, where I usually just insert 6 of my favourite shipgirls in a team, and they'll pretty much take care of business. (My favourite team was Belfast, Eldridge, Helena, Hood, Enterprise and Illustrious)
Is path to nowhere f2p? Like i started only for the story and i kinda like it.
My f2p gacha games gray raven and Dislyte(Dislyte community is vile though)
