Funny since Galaxy 2 ignores the events of Galaxy 1. It being excluded from this video is kind of like Galaxy 1 getting it's revenge.
They didn’t include Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels (which is understandable), Super Mario Land 2, or Super Mario Galaxy 2.

Mario has been a staple of my life for as long as I can remember! I became hooked on the game in 1st grade, hooked on the series since 2nd grade, and Bowser character fandom as of 2 years ago! The Mario franchise will always have a special spot in my heart.
And I can play a ton of Mario songs on the piano!😊
0:12 i find it really funny they did the infinite 1-up glitch in an official direct.
Nintendo is proud of this glitch that it needed to be used in every mario games.

I grew up on Mario since I was just 3. My father got me an NES with the Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt bundle back in 1990 and everything changed. The whole game made me both a gamer and Mario fan for life. It's amazing how far the plumber came his 1981 arcade debut with another Nintendo character rocking his chair right now waving his cane at his grandson Lol.

Mario held the torch for the entire video game industry when no one else did. He was the spark that started the everlasting fire. This is a great time to celebrate Mario's accomplisments and I hope Nintendo does something like this for Mario's 40th anniversary.

When I watched all the 35th anniversary videos on RUclips I actually cried. I was born in the early 90s and grew up with Nintendo and especially Super Mario. To see how Nintendo celebrates it makes me so happy. To see how Super Mario evolved from that popular 2d game to the latest game is so great... it feels so special magical...

“So long *King* Bowser” is just one of the things Mario can say when throwing Bowser. He also can say “Bye bye!” In the original.

It also save the video game industry as it became iconic and a phenomenon in gaming. It was decent and to this day I still play it. Mario is a true blue ultimate cultural iconic that has the ability to warm the older and newer generation hearts with his charmy and likeable personality as Shigeru Miyamoto is a brilliant and creative individual that created a masterpiece. It never gets old. 😍😎💯👍
