I love how they made an all new Peach's castle/Mushroom Kingdom for this. I'm kinda surprised they didn't reuse that hub area castle from Kingdom Battle since odds are we'll be leaving it really quickly to board that Rabbid star ship to travel across planets. I do admire all the work that's being put into this sequel!
Maybe a time skip happens between Kingdom Battle & Sparks of Hope. Peach probably needed a new Castle since hers was on small islands with multiple items from the 4 worlds surrounding it in KB (plus it was covered in gold paint & random nik-naks). She probably let the Rabbids have that & had the toads build a new one to be more like how it was before there world merged with the Rabbid’s. Just a made up theory.
It's funny how I never quite made that connection between this series and the original Mario RPGs (SMRPG, PM64, TTYD). I love those games as well as the Mario and Luigi ones (and SPM to an extent). This series really is the continuation of the strategy/rpg Mario games with personality.
He's been a hero in Mario 64 DS. He doesn't have to join the crew for heroic reasons. Bowser's here because he wants his minions back. That's not even counting all the other times he's been an ally in the rpg games.
I think that Rayman’ll use his hands as his primary being detached from his body and have a range of about a few meters at least. And with that, have different gloves as the different upgrades
If they give Rayman a gun instead of having him use his hands as a projectile (which would be the better option) they should at least have a gun based on the mosquito

Random theory, but what if Cursa (Rosalina) is after the sparks because they have the power to make her normal again. Think about it; the moment she has the sparks in her grasp and starts absorbing their power, her eyes change from red to blue for a moment. The power she absorbs is working, but it’s not enough to keep her that way, which is why they turn back to red.
So the main enemy in this game will be Rosalina🌠 1:55 through the eye she has become Cursa I wonder what happened to her. It will be a mystery to know how it got corrupted, now Mario❤️ and his friends and the Rabits🐰 will have to save all the sparkles and save their friend from the evil she is in this will be exciting

Eeeea...this trailer made one of their plot twists way more obvious. Should have saved that for when players are playing the game. I get that the twist was "likely" to happen but this trailer basically 99.9% confirmed it.
Yo this game looks freaking amazing. Character animations and designs are super inspired, worlds look beautiful, music sounds great, and the gameplay is everything to love about the first one, but just so significantly improved and expanded. I'm not kidding when I say this is one of 2022's most exciting releases for me -and that's in a year where we Switch owners have been FEASTING!!
This game looks amazing! I can definitely hear Yoko Shimomura's influence in the music. Loved the first game, but I have yet to beat it. Maybe once I get my Switch back, I'll consider getting back into it.
This is the most expressive I've seen the Mario cast aside from the Switch Luigi's Mansion. It's crazy that these two games featuring those Rabbids of all things are some of the most interesting Mario titles in a long time. And also yeah, Nintendo needs to do more collabs with other developers

Has anyone realized the 3 bosses are Rabbids girls (the buff the plant and Midnite aka the ghost) but then there’s Edge which also matches the other style and completed the normal number of Minions Mario villains have (fawful had those 3 villains in Bowser Jr quest and Meta boss and Bleck had he’s assistant,Dimentio,O-chunks and Mimi) so is obvious Edge betrayed cursa which is also shown by having a relationship with Midnite but this makes my ask myself if Edge will get controlled by Cursa which also seems to be the case with the other 3 rabbid girls
I like this theory. I'd be funny that halfway in through the game, Edge gets possessed and "betrays" the team. A mix up like that would keep things interesting.

This is the most expressive I've seen the Mario cast aside from the Switch Luigi's Mansion.
It's crazy that these two games featuring those Rabbids of all things are some of the most interesting Mario titles in a long time. And also yeah, Nintendo needs to do more collabs with other developers

The rabbits they encounter have beautiful designs. Keep in mind, there's probably that many unique rabbits because nintendo doesn't allow unique mario characters, like how paper mario also lost them.
That's a shame that Paper Mario has become a bland franchise. Nothing will ever top The Thousand-Year Door.
Cursa, who is obviously rosalina, is not going to be the real main villain. She is going to be some kind of vessel for them

This all started with a lady making a fusion VR headset and rabbits appearing in a washing machine
Has anyone realized the 3 bosses are Rabbids girls (the buff the plant and Midnite aka the ghost) but then there’s Edge which also matches the other style and completed the normal number of Minions Mario villains have (fawful had those 3 villains in Bowser Jr quest and Meta boss and Bleck had he’s assistant,Dimentio,O-chunks and Mimi) so is obvious Edge betrayed cursa which is also shown by having a relationship with Midnite but this makes my ask myself if Edge will get controlled by Cursa which also seems to be the case with the other 3 rabbid girls
I like this theory. I'd be funny that halfway in through the game, Edge gets possessed and "betrays" the team. A mix up like that would keep things interesting.
I had this theory too! But o think it will be near the end of the game where she loses control, since the player levels her up…

I think Rosalina is getting ready for Halloween. 😂 The dark costume is very cool. But the question is: what happened to Rosalina before she became shrouded in darkness (or in this game, it’s called “Darkmess”)?

Bowser as a party member is literally all I needed to sell me on this game.
