Can't imagine ed sherron or Sam Smith still performing in there late 70s. Some people are really stupid. These guys are real music legends . Not like the so called stars of today .
I agree. I've seen McCartney a few times over the years and it is clear he has lost some power and his range has declined...but this is quite normal. I think Jagger is pretty much the only one of his generation who has kind of bucked the trend for this. At the end of the day, I was there and I'll always remember it. Such a fantastic night.

@@carnivaltym imagine how good it Would be if Paul Ringo, Mick and Keef and Ronnie all did one last hurrah together.. a mix of EVERYTHING between them. Id pay huge money to see that show.
Paul, Ringo, Ronnie and friends are some good medicine for a very troubled world. Paul spreading joy and good feelings....just as he always has! Music rules!
I’ve read multiple remarks about Paul’s voice being less than stellar on this song, and they’re right. Buuuut... he puts on a long show - well over 2 hours, he’s singing on every bloody song of the show, he’s touring, meaning he’s singing at least a few times per week, and this is the encore. I say give it up for THE MAN! I’m sure the audience was happy he played for so long that night. They got their money’s worth. And what a fantastic legendary encore it was!!!
You’re probably right, but he enjoys it, his fans enjoy it .... It’s been said that if you find an occupation you love, you’ll never have to work a day your life. Having said that, Paul has nothing to retire from. Wish I could say that.
I saw him about 15 years ago and with the show he puts on, I was surprised his voice lasted that long! 15 years later? I'm surprised he has ANY voice left. This guy doesn't slow down and it's one song after another.
Anyone else love all the small moments between Ringo and Paul? They've always done well together as friends and musicians! AND we have a stone too? Nice! :D
Now that's a thought, the surviving Stones playing together with the surviving Beatles...Jagger, Richards, McCartney, Starr, Wood and Watts alternating between Beatles and Stones classics....could bring in Eric Clapton as well.
@@triumphadelic It's you who really don't know your history. Aside from a few arguments c1969/1970, Paul and Ringo have always been the best of friends. Paul has written songs for, and played on, many Ringo LPs from 1973 to 2019, Ringo makes many appearances at McCartney gigs, and to this day Paul and Ringo regularly hang out, eat together and socialise.
Seeing a Beatle and Rolling Stone playing together on stage is pure heaven. I am so lucky in my seventy four years of life to have witnessed the best there is. Christ knows what tomorrow's crap we will be served up.
Cheryl Familant me too!! Entered HS in 68, pretty wild times, and the greatest music. Now I keep seeing some young'uns being pretty disrespectful, NO idea who they're talking about. Luckily many more kids today got into them as little ones and do love all those bands.
Watching this after seeing Peter Jackson's film, then watching the 1969 rooftop concert makes me appreciate seeing the two surviving Beatles all the more. Paul & Ringo... Thank you for being. 💯❤️
If someone told me in 1969 when I first heard this song that one day I’d be watching Paul and Ringo playing this in 2018, I would have thought they were crazy.
yeah its been more than decades now😍😍Anyway whether they perform or not they will be forever in our heart but looking forward in seeing more performance like this
I saw Paul McCartney in concert in Philadelphia back in 2002 , best concert ive ever been to , the crowd varied in age from 10 -100 everyone was jamming just perfic!
I am very lucky to have been in the audience. When Ringo came out, trust me I nearly died. And the atmosphere throughout the show was incredible. It was worth the money I paid and more! I loved it. The sad thing is that I don't think any show I'll ever go to will top this one hahaha
@@terryhurley1 Amazing. I love R ' n' Roll. I have seen so many great concerts including Paul three times. I shook Chuck Berry's hand once in my hometown. Eddie VH once gave me 5 (I was 14 y.o.). But all of these musicians just jamming. Only happens in heaven. Right? Didn't it seem like nirvana or heaven or something miraculous?
There comes a time in life when you stop being critical and saying he is better or that guy is better and just listen to music. Old guys like me just enjoy these greats while we still can. We have lost so many of these great musicians that we have to enjoy them while they are still here. Like Ringo said at the end "Peace and Love everybody".
Hear hear Indy Custom Made. My kids were rock-music raised and I always taught them that music is not a competition. If you like it that's fine; if you don't like it that's also fine but it doesn't make it crap. Not that they always listened but, hey, I did my job.
What a brilliant night. Yes, we were there! How PM got through 40 numbers over 3 hours without one not drink of water I will never know. To see half of the Beatles, and a quarter of the Rolling Stones - I'll take that any day. Our 21 year old daughter Laura also loved it. Priceless!!!
I'm glad you had a nice time there. I had a ticket for the show, but gave it away a few hrs before the show. I love Paul but dislike concerts ( crowds and social anxiety etc ) the thought of attending a concert with that many people started to dawn on me. Got too much and decided it was not for me, let someone else experience it that will feel comfortable at the show.
New supergroup with Paul on bass, Ringo drumming, Keith and Ronnie on rhythm and lead. Mick could share vocals and both he and Paul could sing their own and each others songs. Great event or limited shows charity.
I was there that night and it was quite simply the best night of my life! Such an honour and a privilege to see Paul & Ringo together on stage together. Very emotional and I’ll always remember that night for the rest of my life... Cliche I know but it was just so special.
Amazing he has a voice at all after all the years of night after night performing for hours and giving it his all. Plus writing and recording . This man doesn’t quit and I love him for it. Rock on Paul and Ringo and Ron Wood as well.
Ron Wood is, and always has been, a class act. I saw him with the Faces and Rod Stewart in the early 1970's. I have to say that Ron's vocal duets with Rod were truly great. Smart choice when you need a guitarist who knows his stuff and loves a good tune.
I just said I wish Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr would perform together again, and ten minutes later this shows up in my recommended videos. You're freaking me out, Google!
Can we all appreciate these gentlemen who clearly in their 70s bringing so much energy and enthusiasm to the stage just to entertain us it’s mind-boggling I’m in my 50s and I don’t have that much energy to perform every day at work like these guys bring to the stage
You are so lucky, people living in England because you can enjoy Paul sharing stage with Ringo and Ronnie Wood or David Gilmour and Pete Townshend...something that is impossible to happen here in Argentina. Anyway, I'm so happy to know he will be here again on March 23! And I will be so next to him this time! See you soon mi amado Paul!
Cronos of Venom Please don’t remind of the current crop of “Stars”. It’s beyond belief how bad it is! I only like Jack White and Greta VF because they remind me of LED Zep. That’s it!
And then there was two.. 😌 imagine having the pleasure of seeing two of the Beatles live on stage, literally inspired all the bands you love and listen to now.
I've been therely and I can only say that I have felt so honoured to take part of that amazing experience. Once in a lifetime!!! Thank you Paul, grandude!!!!

Wow! what an encore. Having sung for over 3 hours without a break, Paul brings on Ringo! Last time i saw them on stage together live was over 50 years ago at Odeon Hammersmith!
How awesome to been there for THAT concert. Seen him in 76- Wings, '93 flowers in the dirt. Sir Paul- the consummate performer- and keeps raising the bar- exceeding!
When Paul was doing the Wings Ovet America tour is the time I wished to had seen him . That Wings band was incredible and Paul s voice was at his peak .
I went to this night and it was honestly one of the best experiences I've ever had. He sang for 3 hours straight, not a break or even a sip of water.. sang his songs, George's songs, johns songs, the beatles, wings and even a happy birthday song for anyone out there celebrating a birthday. It was unbelievable. Paid triple the face value price for a ticket but worth every penny ❤
I was fortunate enough to be there. Probably one of the greatest moments of my life to be honest - I'll never forget it. Thank you so much for posting. What the hell are we going to do when this generation finally retire? Modern music just isn't the same.
One after 909, is one of my favorites, too. Your dad has good taste. A very underrated little rocker by John, with nice harmonies with Paul. '...run to the station, railman said, you got the wrong location'. Ok, now I gotta get out my Let it Be album and hear it! 😎🖒
I was there! This excellent video hardly conveys the excitement of the audience when Macca introduced Ringo. A moment I will remember as long as I live.
Ringo and Paul YEAH BABY! The only two left of the greatest band that revolutionized rock and roll the British invasion never will be again. Loved them!
Oh LORD I Almost lost it when Ringo took the stage, I shed a Tear when he hugged Paul, I mean Come on Man.......the Catalogue of Music they Gave Us! Two Living Legends together Plus Ronnie and the Gang, WOW!! Thank you so VERY much for Posting this Beauty, the BEATLES ARE MY FAVORITE BAND OF ALL TIME, JOHN was my BEATLE..... R.I.P. Right before the Covid shutdowns I got to see Paul live at Dodger Stadium; it was awesome! And to see and hear Ringo along with Paul was insane. I’m 44 but have been listening to the Beatles since I was a kid.
I am absolutely honored to be born in a time when the Beatles and The rolling Stones and rock and roll reigned supreme. Imagine how our life would be without that great music those outstanding musicians. Thank you Paul Ringo Ronnie Wood and everybody else
I saw Paul at the Echo arena recently - it was awesome!! 3hrs and 40 songs - he’s a brilliant and true professional. I’m a Beatles fan, but he can hold his own. As good as this video is, it doesn’t do him justice. I only wish I’d seen him years ago.
@@roberthaizlip7143 and he admits he is not a good drummer. I saw the all starr band a few months ago, and he barely plays drums at all, relying on the main drummer to do the real work. Still, he is Ringo, & a great happy peaceful spirit.
@@roberthaizlip7143 he was excellent in his heyday and put together some of the most iconic drum parts in history. It's just totally ill-informed nonsense that you're regurgitating from other people
Ringo plays the drums with great ease and precision. The magic between Paul & RIngo is obvious, even after many years not playing together. Add Ronnie to the mix, and this was something quite special.
Imagine travelling back in time to 1969 and playing the clip to them and telling them they're still doing this nearly 50 years later, are looking this good, and still adored by screaming fans many of whom aren't even born yet. They'd probably have thought they'd be dead by then.
I am from Hamburg and saw the Beatles when they were a mere warm-up band at the Kaiserkeller. When they moved to the Star-Club a year later I was seeing them at least once a month, until George Harrison took my girl-friend away. I am still unhappy about that....but how can a student compete with a rising pop-group? Good times....

His voice has not been on point for a couple years now, but what can we expect from such a long career?
You’re probably right, but he enjoys it, his fans enjoy it .... It’s been said that if you find an occupation you love, you’ll never have to work a day your life. Having said that, Paul has nothing to retire from. Wish I could say that.
I saw him about 15 years ago and with the show he puts on, I was surprised his voice lasted that long! 15 years later? I'm surprised he has ANY voice left. This guy doesn't slow down and it's one song after another.
Ron Pippin
Paul never did have the best voice, but then as others have said his performance value is incredible.
Anyone else love all the small moments between Ringo and Paul? They've always done well together as friends and musicians! AND we have a stone too? Nice! :D
they are NOT real friends...you really dont know the history of The Beatles do you?
Now that's a thought, the surviving Stones playing together with the surviving Beatles...Jagger, Richards, McCartney, Starr, Wood and Watts alternating between Beatles and Stones classics....could bring in Eric Clapton as well.
Liverpool bond my friend.
@@peterowen9183 Thank you. People are so dumb and want to create drama.

Make that two Beatles and one Rolling Stone.
I will always love these guys. I grew up with the Beatles and Rolling Stones ❤
Hey
Hate being old, but love my generation!! We had some amazing talent in our time!!! Ringo is in great shape.
Cheryl Familant me too!! Entered HS in 68, pretty wild times, and the greatest music. Now I keep seeing some young'uns being pretty disrespectful, NO idea who they're talking about. Luckily many more kids today got into them as little ones and do love all those bands.

Cheryl Familant indeed, I’m glad some legends are still alive to show us their legacy and continue to influence music.
@Cheryl Familant - "It's OK to get old, but don't let old get to you" - Keith Richards quote :-))
Watching this after seeing Peter Jackson's film, then watching the 1969 rooftop concert makes me appreciate seeing the two surviving Beatles all the more. Paul & Ringo... Thank you for being. 💯❤️
Yes, it’s quite a thing that existed for a decade and will last forever. Beethoven, Mozart and the Beatles.
I was there, it was incredible seeing Paul and Ringo together ♥️
If someone told me in 1969 when I first heard this song that one day I’d be watching Paul and Ringo playing this in 2018, I would have thought they were crazy.
yeah its been more than decades now😍😍Anyway whether they perform or not they will be forever in our heart but looking forward in seeing more performance like this

HOW ABOUT STILL WATCHING IN 2022.
The magic of The Beatles - their music is alive and kicking ar$e after 60+ years, in 2023!
All the blues and jazz musicians were still performing well past their 60s in the 60s idk why rock would be any different
So great to see Sir Paul and Sir Richard (Ringo) still playing together..My God Ringo just turned 79 and Paul is 77 and they still got it.
Screamed my lungs out when he shouted Ringo Starr’s name! Whole night was fantastic and so so so happy to be in the crowd!
So lucky, I would have sell my soul to be there
I saw Paul McCartney in concert in Philadelphia back in 2002 , best concert ive ever been to , the crowd varied in age from 10 -100 everyone was jamming just perfic!
Every time Paul introduces ringo is a gem
I am very lucky to have been in the audience. When Ringo came out, trust me I nearly died. And the atmosphere throughout the show was incredible. It was worth the money I paid and more! I loved it.
The sad thing is that I don't think any show I'll ever go to will top this one hahaha
Totally agree, this was a show I will never forget, proud to have attended it, well worth the £100+ ticket price to get such a great seat.
I always have a hard time believing comments like this, but notwithstanding my skepticism, if your stories are true it is enviable. Congrats.
@@newjack2166 I was there too. I shook hands with Ringo before the show. Ringo and Ronnie sat in the audience before they played on stage.
So True, These legends won't be here forever. Embrace them while we can.
Exactly! Who cares, anyway? It's all a matter of taste. Spend more time enjoying and less comparing, complaining, and arguing! 👍🎶
Absolutely!!!
Amen!😎🎶🎸 God Bless.
Hear hear Indy Custom Made. My kids were rock-music raised and I always taught them that music is not a competition. If you like it that's fine; if you don't like it that's also fine but it doesn't make it crap. Not that they always listened but, hey, I did my job.
Ringo is 80 now and looks like a 20 year old jogging on stage and having fun!! Love that guy!!
Paul McCartney with Ringo and Vox amps behind him! Perfect!
The Beatles' rhythm section, in full bloom.
There’s still something magic about them playing together.
I saw him in 2009 and wondered the same thing! He never left the stage for the entire show!
How lucky you were!
New supergroup with Paul on bass, Ringo drumming, Keith and Ronnie on rhythm and lead. Mick could share vocals and both he and Paul could sing their own and each others songs. Great event or limited shows charity.
He got through that long without drinking water...why is that an achievement?
Wherever and whenever they play, they are always John, Paul, George, and Ringo ❤️
I was there that night and it was quite simply the best night of my life! Such an honour and a privilege to see Paul & Ringo together on stage together. Very emotional and I’ll always remember that night for the rest of my life... Cliche I know but it was just so special.
I love Ronnie. While Paul is doing the intros he’s going round saying hello to the band. Such a nice bloke.

The Beatles forever.... unbeatable. More power to Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. God bless.
