My daughter is Abby riding with you here, thank you! She loved riding with you, we go to this event every year with her brother. The siblings get a lot out of this too. Hope you’re back again!
Emily, your facial expressions were PRICELESS during that last ride!!! I love how you tried to maintain your composure and were genuinely scared at the same time!! Loved it!!
Derek You are an absolute LEGEND! Emily thanks for taking us all along :-) You were VERY brave both in the car with Derek AND for leaving in all the footage lol because there were some moments there where I could see a teensy weensy bit of terror. What an awesome event for a great Cause!
It was a privilege to be a part of this event and meet you and Derek! The reactions and time spent with the kids and parents was priceless. Not to mention the Vanishing Paint Challenger was a beast out there.
What a truly magnificent experience for these youngsters. I have a family member on the spectrum. Public awareness is desperately needed and the helmet really brings out your features.
Super cool to watch you two guys ride around that wet track together, it looked fun like two little high school kids back in the day ha ha. Thanks for making a great video looking forward to the next one
Nice that you teamed up with VGG and did what you did for the kids, Just awesome. By the Emily, never seen so many expressions on your face when Derek gave you a ride around the track, hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a cool event!!! My daughter has Asperger's and would have to wear noise cancelling headphones and would need the window rolled up. Many of the other kids with liw function Asperger's would be really challenging. Hats off to all that gave kids a super fun day on a race track and in a race car. 💕
Emily your an amazing and awesome person I loved how the third rider said the sound makes up for not speeding lol all of the kids were tickled to death I can only imagine you made there day
I just discovered this channel after following Vice Grip Garage and watching her interaction with Derek. Emily is a very rare creature these days. A beautiful woman with a fantastic body and a million dollar smile and no visible tattoos. Enough said!!!!
I did something very similar to this, called Drive for Smiles. Car owners took kids with life changing health issues for paced laps on a road track in South Western Ontario. IMO one of my most rewarding days ever. I had my 2020 GT500 Shelby and was one of 5 North American cars there. Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porches, McLarens and a couple new Ford GTs. It rained a bit and was sunny too. No one hit the wall, but I did see a McLaren spin out on the lawn. If any car owner ever wants to have a life changing event something like this is so worth it. Kudos to Emily and Derek for doing this.
Enjoyed seeing the collaboration with Derek and his family and nice to see Heidi, by the way that v12 bike was built in a shed by Alan Millyard and they have a collection of his creations there.
I must admit this made my eyes leak. It was not a small leak. This is the best kind of cool. Thank you for doing this and getting it on video. Kindness is wonderful. :)
I'm so glad you two did this! One of my really good friends has a son with autism. I see the day to day challenges he faces. He and his wife have day to day challenges that would ruin the average person. Yet they persevere out of love. This event has to be awesome for these kids, parents and siblings. Well done! So glad you exposed the RUclips world to the cause.
Emily......you had a bit of worry when he was first running on that wet road especially with lack of proper belts. The look in your eyes was priceless. What a hoot.
Looks like a great day out for everyone involved. It makes so much sense for the "celebrities" to have fun, while providing such a great, fun experience for the kids and their families, which is fun for various RUclips audiences to watch - that's a whole load of fun for your buck. I'm sure some of the parents were secretly, kind of relieved it was 𝒚𝒐𝒖 that was driving their bairn round the track, in the same way 𝑦𝑜𝑢 were glad to have Derek at the wheel. I'd love to attend something like this but I wouldn't trust just anyone to do the driving. There seemed to be a few tyre-walls getting some use, maybe guys with less skill than Derek. What you lack in racecar experience, you made up for by driving within your limits.👍😁 Thanks for sharing the experience Emily and fair play to you for getting involved in such a good cause. I'm looking forward to seeing Derek's take on the day. Cheers for now, Dougie.
Loved it...FYI if I had those 2 with me, especially if I invited them, my wife would have a nice mason jar on a shelf with a set of SAE nuts on a shelf rusting 🤣 I'm happy you are doing life and have the support to do it. God blesd
Thank you. I also have autism and wasnt diagnosed until 47. For the last 6 years I have been piecing together all the aspect of it to understand where I have come from and my weaknesses. Reading and showing emotions can be difficult.
@17:32 having watched EVERY Roadkill and Garage ep about that car, to see you doing THIS to it is amazing. And THAT as the leak source! @emily @VGG thank you both for your time that day. Some of us live through your adventures until we can take a pause and experience our own.
Emily, you are sooooo cooool. Not only are you so enthused, but the way you enthuse the rest of us too. I really love the way you love to include youngsters, in your own close family, but these dear kids too. That alone makes a really special person special. keep these cool videos rolling. Have e a great break and happy new year.
I've done something the same, here in the Netherlands, driving my '93 Corvette C4 on the Zandvoort Circuit. Also with kids who can use some spark, driving around the circuit. It was awesome to do, seeing those big laughs on their faces. Next time I will be there again.
Wow what a wonderful thing you did for those children it makes me feel like a kid again. Merry Christmas to you and your family thanks for a wonderful vlog .
