I was 17 when i first jumped in...i'm 61 now and still listen to it.
That is a lot of great Punk records. Damaged is my favorite punk album.

I got static age yellow vinyl when it was first released from my neighborhood record shop for 20 dollars. Still have it and only played it 3 times

Almost impossible to tell which pressing of ‘no gods no managers’ you’ve got. Pretty much if the jacket doesn’t have a barcode, it’s at least an early pressing. Reissues are all identical I think.
Also: totally consider it classic punk even though it’s late 90s

Rad collection dude! I have 6 Ramones records and Green Day’s Dookie album. I want to get a Stooges records but there rare in my local exchange, I have a Ramones Pleasent Dreams album but the NY remix and it sounds AMAZING. If your interested I got it at Princeton Record Exchange but it was the only one there. Anyways, love the albums
thank you! ramones are another band i definitely need to get vinyl of - have some of their cds but that's about it haha. i have a ton of green day, which i plan on showing in a "pop punk collection" video. discogs is my favorite place to grab records, aside from my local shops, which i find to be superior lol. thanks!!
You’ve got some solid classics in there. We have similar tastes for the most part. To add to your Bad Religion I would recommend No Control. It’s what got me into them in the 90’s. For something classic you may not have heard of I recommend X-Ray Spex. They are a revolutionary UK punk bad with a saxophone!
haha thank you! as for no control, yes, i love that album!! big bang is actually one of my favorite bad religion songs. i definitely need more of their vinyl, they're one of my favorite bands. i've heard of x-ray specs, can't remember if i've actually listened to them or not - will totally check them out. thanks!!

I don't think the Angry Samoans are in any way "surfy" That Back From Samoa album is blistering hardcore with an attack that has rarely been equaled in HC.What a sound they had. Just make sure it's the Bad Trip pressing, the original pressing and not the one on PVC.
You've got some good choices here. BTW Why can't you stand Johnny Rotten? His singing on NMTB is terrific, every thing you could want in a snotty, sarcastic punk singer. And the album is one of the 15 greatest punk albums of all time---a masterpiece in every way.
yeah, i guess you're right. i don't know why, maybe it's certain guitar licks or the vocals, but their music just gives me surf/skate vibes. maybe it's because the first time i heard them was on a boardwalk so the memory just stuck haha. as for the johnny rotten thing, i am a fan of the sex pistols, but i jusy personally find him kind of irritating. that interview he did recently with marky ramone/henry rollins/etc. was kind of hard to watch. in his prime he was pretty badass though.
@@jakepinkneymusic I like his singing in his two groups but as for the man.....He is always claiming the Pistols started punk rock. Nothing could be further from the truth. The Ramones first album in Apr 1976 is the first pure punk LP and the Ramones were playing punk as far back as 1974 in their live gig at CBGB available on RUclips. He is always slagging off the Ramones.

also noting that just because i don't have something on vinyl doesn't mean i don't like it/know about it. crass happens to be one of my favorite bands, have two of their patches on my vest. and trust me, you aren't my first introduction to any of the bands you listed haha
