      Made in America by Americans. They paid their workers a livable wage. Enough to afford a small house or apartment, and have their spouse stay at home and raise the kids. I mean, when you think about it, all Ricky does is run a night club, while Lucy is free to have her misadventures. They can afford this lifestyle, and care for Little Ricky, all while living in NYC. If Lucy wants a new dress, she is supposed to save up for it. Credit wasn’t really a thing. And when it finally was, women couldn’t have credit cards unless their husbands co-signed.

    • @2Bluzin
      @2Bluzin 24 дня назад +9

      @@UmmYeahOk There was an unwritten deal back then that if the worker was loyal to you the business would return that in kind. So jobs lasted decades even during slow times unlike today where lay everyone off at the drop of a hat through mass video chat. CEO's were not as greedy back then. The average pay scale back then for a CEO was 30 times what they paid their employees. Today, American CEO's make 300 times what they pay their employees.

    • @UmmYeahOk
      @UmmYeahOk 23 дня назад +5

      @@2BluzinYeah, loyalty means nothing anymore. The only way to get a raise is to find work elsewhere. If you want your current employer to give you a raise, even if you’ve been working there for a decade, you need to leave, then return as a new hire.
      Businesses and the 1% were taxed differently, so that extra was either given out as bonuses, or reinvested back into the company. By reinvesting your profit, this meant that new jobs could be created, and in by doing so, more profit. Rich CEOs also donated to various charities that helped the community, avoiding taxes. But now they just create their own non profit organization, and send the money there.

      Could you share some details about the biweekly topic you brought about up? 😊

      I raised 75k and Maria Luisa Clare is to be thanked. I got my self my dream car 🚗 just last weekend, My journey with her started after my best friend came back from New York and saw me suffering in dept then told me about her and how to change my life through her. Maria L. Clare is the kind of person one needs in his or her life! I got a home, a good wife, and a beautiful daughter. Note!:: this is not a promotion but me trying to make a point that no matter what happens, always have faith and keep living!!

      I started with a miserly $1500. The results have been mind blowing I must say TBH!

    It’s funny, but quite sexist at the same time.

      Any modern sitcom is the same. These days they just make fun of the men instead.
