CE will always hold a special place in my heart. I remember my dad showing me the game on our old Xbox and I remember putting hours into replaying the campaign and playing slayer with my siblings.
CE was such an epic campaign too, and speaking as a Halo veteran, getting to play slayer with your siblings is something that will absolutely stay with you forever ^-^
my dad showed me halo when i was 10 and absolutely kicked my ass at it. he now refuses to play it because i'm too good or he's gotten too old and forgot :(

I was five maybe 6 and my first ever game was Reach. I was to young to understand the lore, just nice guns hah. But always lived this game. Then my disc broke, we sold console for a new one, and stoped playing. Then xbox series s and MCC... And few months ago started playing Reach with by twin brother. It's litery "you are beautifull as in the day i lost you" kind of situation.

I'm 17 and Halo CE is my favorite, nothing beats it
I’m 16, and I pretty much universally enjoy the Halo games. CE is a bit tough for my 4K RTX rotted brain, but it was a pioneer, so it gets a pass. 2 was a bit slow at some parts but overall it was a sufficient successor. 3 was phenomenal all around, not much to say there. 4, I really enjoyed the grandeur of it, the total scale. The Ghost run, the Mammoth, the Broadsword flight, and 117 is still one of my favorite songs from the franchise. 5 was my first but it’s the same as 4, grandeur. I would speed run the Kraken mission all the time, and I almost got through the Legendary campaign with my therapist (I still miss you, Mike). Infinite is fun because if you give me an open world game I will spend 90% of it doing everything but the main storyline. I can’t speak on ODST because I never finished it, but I love how gritty it is.
Then there’s Reach. There is so much to say about Reach, the story, the firefight, the gameplay overall. But the best part was realizing you’re not going to win. For me, it was when Kat died. I figured that “this is Halo, they’re going to destroy that fleet somehow”. But they didn’t. The fact that the game takes place of the course of 2-3 months is insane to me. Reach fell, us along with it, and it was one of the best narrative experiences I’ve every been blessed with.

My first Halo game was Halo 4. My dad bought it back in 2012 and I genuinely liked it, and still do.
I love the older games, which I played after that, and they're definitely better than the new ones, but H4 still has a kind of special place in my heart

As a 2006 baby I can say beyond a shadow of doubt that 3 ODST was my all-time favorite with CE being a CLOSE second.
I'm 14 and playing infinite with friends and family is what really got me into halo and was also my first Halo so I'll always have a soft spot for it but i have Played through the old Halos And i actually enjoy them and i kinda wish i discovered Halo a bit younger but its fine.

@@cole1407 Ok I'll admit that halo 5's Campaign is Pretty bad, they just throw as much enemies as they can at you with very little Ammo but I've played a little bit of the Multiplayer and its actually pretty fun. I forgot to Mention I first started playing Halo infinite in Season 4.

@@kaelt9264 for 343 to have a good game, they need a budget (Microsoft took it), they needed to release later (Microsoft forced an early release) they need a decent sized crew(Microsoft fired a lot of their staff), they need to remove the battle pass and the shop ( Their only source of revenue) and they need to add new content (more than half of them are working on the CE remake and halo 7 because Microsoft told them to.). Besides, most of the staff responsible for past halo games like 4 & 5 were fired. All that's left is overworked 20 year olds who haven't been hired more than a few months. This is 110% Microsoft's fault.

A year ago (i was 13), i tried out Halo 3 for the first time it took me a while to figure it out, but when i got into it, i could not get enough i now have all the halos but halo 3 still remains my favorite

I was a halo fan for a long time, long before i even knew what halo was about, and my first halo game was halo 5, and honestly it was so much fun! Looking back at the story, it was alright for me, but i still love it to death, especially the multiplayer.

I’m glad I started with Reach. I’m a younger person that started playing the halo campaigns around 2021 when I was on summer break after my 6th grade year(first year of middle school), and I would sit on the floor in my basement playing through the campaigns whenever I could find the time. Before that, my dad set up both our Xbox 360s for family LAN parties on Reach and 3 every once in a while. I like halo a lot-

dude I’m like 15 and almost all I play are older games. I’ve played through the campaigns of halo ce through reach and played a lot of their campaigns. I’ve played a majority of all the cod games made before 2016 and played all the doom and quake games campaign and multiplayer and played all the classic valve games and im currently beating every soulsborne game in release order and I’m currently on ds3.
I may not have experienced them in their glory days but atleast I appreciate the talent that went into making them

That was about it My Dad got me into Halo So when he Bought me an Xbox one And MCC I was excited, I played through all of them on MCC couch co-op with him MY favourite was Halo 2. My Dad passed away in 2021, and I recently Started playing halo again, And my new favourite is Halo 3 😁. Halo wars and 4 were my first. Still love 4 and wars but I noticed that it gave me a different perspective than those CE and 3 gamers who saw it as a silly arcade shooter while I saw it as a gritty tactical story game .

I'm in my 20s, and I'm just now playing Halo. I decided to start at the (semi) beginning with Combat Evolved Anniversary. So far I'm liking it, but the "desert first" mentality is why I always go as close to the first release as I can when starting a new series. Makes me appreciate the progress of technology in video games that much more.
When I play a game series I might play a later game first but if I get invested in a game I’ll play them chronologically, this kinda happened to me with halo, I played halo 3 odst first in early 2022. Later on I’ve beaten every halo except halo wars 2 and I’ll say my favorite is halo reach, which was released the year I was born

I started to actually play Halo around 2 to 3 years ago when I was probably 13. Reach and Halo 5 were my first Halo games to be completed, but now I'm older and I gotta say that Halo 2 and Reach are my utmost favorites.
I remember I used to talk so much shit about Halo Reach back in the day and I deeply regret it, because it is a masterpiece of a video game! Had I remotely known how bad Halo was going to get after Reach with Halo 4, the WORST sequel EVER made by a game developer, I would’ve kept my mouth shut.
I grew up playing all the Bungie Halo games but I'm still glad Halo is even relevant and kids are still playing it
I have played all halo games and had a lots of fun with all of them. But i have the best memories on Reach
It’s all about modern control schemes and quality of life improvements… going back to old halos can be hard for those who didn’t grow up with them
