Sexual energy manifests itself as charm, attraction, love , infatuation, intimacy. It is the merging of consciousness and the emergence of new life. Spiritual energy, the energy that comes from pure consciousness, is the creative energy of the universe. Without that energy we would not be alive and nothing would have life in it as life is the vitality of pure consciousness. Sexual energy is also the creative energy of the universe. Without that energy we would not exist either. Therefore sexual energy and spiritual energy are the same. Many wise traditions considers the peak moment of sexual energy the death of the ego. When somebody experiences intimacy and reaches orgasm, we feel vulnerable, intimate, we are defenseless, spontaneous, joyful, carefree and there is a sense of timelessness. These are the characteristics and true nature of our spirit. Living your life with this level of intimacy would allow to emerge the evolutionary impulse, the creative energy of the universe, which is your spirit.

Wow I never expect this clip to be so enlightening and epiphany like this. From what Dr. Chopra explains make me realize why so many women can’t reach orgasm through intercourse. Because it means you need to lose your ego to get closest to your partner and become vulnerable at the most. If you can’t trust that partner it is so scary to let go of all of your guard!

This is obvious when you love someone in such a pure way and you have that intimacy, the sexual energy will manifest as the universe energy. Not sure if works when the sexual experience is just a physical one...

I agree completely! I've been working to understand the deeper hidden "sexual secrets" and for a man to really understand this message, he has to first understand the separation of "orgasm and ejaculation. Once a man is able to realize this as a reality he is then able to ride the wave of sexual ecstasy and truly become one with the moment of now. Riding that wave of ecstasy & bliss with out the end result of habitual ejaculation is to enter a whole new realm of bliss!

Ojas is the power which helps you rise into the Beyond: that is called Ojas. So you will find how necessary is chastity of life. The more you have got that Power within you, the more you are healthy; even if it exceeds what the body requires, it will help you in the Beyond.
You see, from eat and drink we have some milk-like element, chyle; from there it arises and comes into the blood. From blood forms the flesh, bones, and then the pith of the bones. From the pith of the bones that Power arises. Those people who are not chaste, given up to unchastity, they have no hope for this Ojas Power. So, Ojas is the Power which helps you to transcend into the Beyond. That is why "chastity is Life, sexuality is death." We sometimes use words, but we don't know the very basic purpose for which they are there. You have read chastity is Life, sexuality is death. Normal way: that's all right. Everything which exceeds limits, that goes to spoil, you see. So blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. That power helps. Those who are always drained out have poor health, no thinking power, not are they able to do hard work; they can do nothing. So that is why it said, chastity is Life and sexuality is death.
Those who are not married should observe strict celibacy. Those who are married should observe according to the scriptures. Scriptures only say to marry means taking a companion in life who should be with you in weal or woe through your earthly sojourn and both meet God. Help each other. One duty may be begetting children - one! Not all! We have considered perhaps it is machinery of enjoyment. That is wrong.
Ojas has not been defined anywhere, I tell you. From Ojas you have got that power which helps you to go into the Beyond. If you have got no surplus of this valuable fluid within you, how can you sit? Now you will see how important is chastity. The word "chastity" is used as Life and its opposite is death, you see. These things are not explained to us, that's a pity. We ourselves do not know. Outward acting and posing won't do, I tell you. So that is why I put it in the diary forms even in word, even in thought. Even unchaste words and thoughts affect you.
If you observe an average - very simple diet with chastity, you'll be blooming. All your tonics, all your outward dietary proteins won't help you. Special diets also won't help - that is only temporary. I think with acting and posing, you appear to look all right, that is all.
I read an instance in one book while I was a student. In the West it is usual that girls seek their own husbands and husbands seek their own companions. There was one girl who was ugly looking and nobody wanted to marry her. She was disappointed so she left the town and lived in an out-of-the-way place. Naturally, when one is disappointed, one reverts to God. She passed her days in sweet remembrance of God. After a year or so somebody came up to her, "I would like to marry you." "What are you talking about? I am the ugliest woman in the world." "No, no, no, you're not ugly." "No, no, don't joke with me!" She looked in the looking glass and her features were changed. So, thoughts are very potent, you see. Chaste thought is a blessing.

Wow a orb passed his head (crown chakra) as he was talking about a higher power.
I do see the connection between sexual and spiritual energy. They are the same thing but I do not possess these freedoms yet, the freedom of not watching the clock, being free of inhabitation etc, in my daily life, but I am hoping to achieve it. Imagine a life like that. My take on this subject is to be open and explore the possibilities. For me, this has nothing to do with religion, but more with enlightenment. No equation is needed.

I've always wondered about sexual tension and arousal and if it relates to sexual energy. Looks can play a part to some people but I notice it doesn't always have to. Just being in certain positions even with clothes on turn me on physically. Like some sexual energy is being put out there

Sexual energy and spiritual energy are not the same thing. One is the manifestation of a need in the realm of incarnation, in the dense dimension, sexual energy. Spirit has no sex and has a direct contact with potentially every dimension including the dense one. So I can say the sexual energy when it becomes a defenseless, spontaneous, joyful and carefree sense of timelessness where the ego disappears then it merges with the spiritual energy, in any other case it belongs only to this level of reality.
The spirit can exist without an energy just as existence itself. But there can be no such thing as sexual energy without a life behind it. No energy means anything at all without life itself. I like your answer though, very interesting and I'll be thinking about this for a while.
If the soul is a spark then it has an energy to it. Sexual energy to me, in the flesh, is a manifestation of love when it's properly addressed. And if love comes from the soul then sexual energy also comes from the soul. But I am talking about something that is very rare in this world at the moment. Sexual energy in this dimension is unfortunately seen as something perverted and twisted because of all those religious books written to narrow the minds and the hearts of billions of people. In biological sense we can see sexual energy as a need for reproduction and the perpetuation of our specie that is also necessary to create bodies for the souls to incarnate and have the human experience. I don't know my friend, I don't have the truth but some things resonate with me and some don't. The only thing I would love is to find a way to be kind to everyone's truth and experience in this life.
I've recently considered that energy itself is relative as we know it. Let's assume that this is true. Lets also assume that there is such a thing as positive energy and negative energy. Let's assume that positive negative energy imprisons us. Perhaps life (or being) itself has an energy to it. If sexual energy is addressed or acted on appropriately, it can cause positive results. Otherwise, it could also invariable lead us to pain. A consequence of negative energy. As if we are being orbited or influenced by something seemingly inescapable to us. Right now I think religion is like a negative energy that is drives people not to experience things because of fear itself. It completely negates our right to choose. Furthermore, I don't think many of us understand these sorts of things very well anyways so we become vulnerable to indoctrination by the clergy who exploit this to control people's will. Our fear that comes from an acknowledge of what we don't understand makes us vulnerable to being told what to do and think. So we can be manipulate. Funny however that it still never the less does not take away our freedom to choose. I like the way you separate the biological view of sex and the spiritual view of it. The beauty of both views makes them agreeable. Thought I'd share this anyways. Thanks for the response. :)

@@goodvibes1397I agree with alot of what you said except, religion restricting us to learn right sexual practices from wrong.. yes we should be able to choose how we want to express, but just because we have the choice should we choose wrong? This phenomena of fear and restriction comes more from human thought which is a result of environment..In a world where we only focus on our physical body, a spiritual teaching of a greater power is a great threat to a physical existence.. this is why many view religion as such in terms of spiritual practices.. But when you have fear and (reverence) for your divine creator you see why these teachings like marriage is relevant, b4 you fully express yourself sexually to another person..Violating these religious divine teachings causes confusions and punishments for your wrong doings.. One punishment many people dont realize is Any time you have sex you now share a soul tie with that person. Religion is not a restraint to the spiritual body but to a physical body who must exert free will not knowing the consequences that may come with actions..
YES. Sex energy can move down the spine into the genitals or it can move upward. Moving energy upward is a yogic skill that requires meditation and other practices.

Satyavan I believe sexual energy is soul energy and that is the reason you feel weak after orgasm because you release your souls energy. This is also the number one reason why having multiple partners is a detriment to ones soul. Just my opinion
IMO sexual energy are simply physical and mental energy.
Your spiritual energy matches your physical capability, so for people who low on sexual energy their spiritual energy cannot show its full potential because we are living in material world

Being celebant and being a monk, believe it or not, doesn't make one more Spiritual than one who Lives a normal day to day Life. The Divinity Is not asking us to give up possessions or things etc... It's All About Surrender and Acceptance. Not clinging to temporal things but also not shunning them. We are here to Experience Life as a human and play..
