- A quick overview of Derrick's 370Z we built for him. Sadly we didnt get any footage of the process but we do walk you through a few of the details on the build. We performed the full SPL suspension catalog install, Nismo diff and subframe bushings install, brake ducts and hood vents, cooling system upgrades along with the Mazworx Engine swap and full Fast Intentions turbo kit installation with a custom spec fuel system.

I love what he did with the front bumper zip ties
@@YourRacingChannel Lol. I have a new one that is not on the car. Saving it. Just in case I hit more road debri.
@@spooler7828 I feel you! Are you running a dual pump set up?
@@YourRacingChannel Yes, CJ Motorsports with two Walboro 450's. You have to at this power level.
This car is meant to be driven and do whatever I want. 1/2 mile, 1/4 mile, Tail of the Dragon, Track day. Someone once said a 370z does everything good but nothing great. I mean to change that. I just wanted to push it up to another level. I have a blast with it. I do drive it everywhere. LOL This car is a monster and nobody is the wiser.
@Haterade I normally don't answer these types of question but I will this one time. Depending on what is done to your car now expect to spend around 70k minimum. IF you get it wrong on the motor build and have a do over because you cheeped out, it will cost you even more. If you have a Mazworx engine built like mine with the same parts that is around 18k alone. The transmission is going to be your problem child. The manual trannies input shafts break on the drag strip. I was close to getting a billet input shaft made before COVID19 hit. That has now went silent and I don't have the time to put in more research to make it happen. If you have an auto, that build is not cheap. A friend of mine is having his built. It will be around 9 to 10k and who knows how long it will live. Not sure of the name of the shop. It is not Level10.
@@spooler7828 thanks for this info, I didn’t ask question but that was very informing. Sadly I got auto so gotta settle for the supercharger and a2a kit that I’m saving for but you seem like someone who always had fast cars so I just want my Z to be as fast as a stock gtr and I’ll be happy lol.
@@SoHoDon_718 Go turbo, superchargers crap out belts left and right. The right tuner can make it linear power with the right turbos.
@@spooler7828 thanks for info, appreciate it. Yeah I was reading the Z Facebook group on how the auto can’t handle more than 440 torque I think if I remember correctly, so figured the supercharger would be better but I’ll just aim for the turbo then
@@SoHoDon_718 Stay off that group, that is where the Morons reside. Join www.the370z.com forum.
Finally. Someone who has good wheels on a car, and the body of the car doesn't look silly.
Black face wheels silver lip is so 2004
@@DEATHWISHVQ It's the 1980's BBS 3-piece wheel thing. I am a sucker for 3-piece wheels.
Should have included more video time of actually driving it.
Thanks for the feedback and I agree. I’ve started to do that in my more recent videos.
That is a tasteful build.. nice and clean.. makes me wanna sell my S550 even more now. My TEs would look amazing on a Z. Nice work as always love the anodized innercooler.
Thanks Mike. This is a wicked machine for sure. Its scary fast. Once he gets some traction control on it it will then be manageable but still scary fast, haha.
Come on and join the Crazy people club. Be glad to have you.
glen arm prefecture!
Sounds like the Interceptor from the movie Wrath.
Insane build. I love it. What turbos are you using on this kit though?
FI stage 2 is what it is called these days. It's the old stage 2.5.
Wow that engine bay looks sleeperish
certainly can't see all the goods under the hood of one of these cars. could be just intakes or it could be 900hp twin turbo kit. haha
Oh damn he also has Aragosta? I need to know where to get replacement damper keys for those things. Mine got lost
Yup, they are pretty rare.
@@MAMotorsports
Mine are Top Secret modified Aragosta. No idea what they actually changed... Need them serviced eventually.
@@Malficion The dampers can be worked on by AST in the USA. They use the same parts. Call them up, they should be able to service them.
I will be coming back Better, Faster, and Stronger soon. Parts are a bitch to get right now.
Is this a stage 2 built motor?
This is a Mazworx built engine. Not sure they do the "stages" thing.
heck yeah!
Nice ride bro❤
I wonder how much boost it needs to make 9XX whp??
About 24 psi
Curious on how much this build would cost me? All parts and labor?
Email us please. We can give you many options. Info@ma-motorsports.com
Well, in my normal fashion I broke it again. LOL, It will be time for round 3 in the future. I am sitting here trying to figure out what I want to do. Turning it down is just not an option. This boost junkie needs his fix.
VR38!
@@MAMotorsports Not sure what I am going to do. Over the last couple years I have learned to keep my ideas close or folks will steal them.
@@spooler7828 I can relate to that!
Well done!!
Thanks!
Beautiful build
Thank you!
Wasn’t this car tuned by R/t a while back?
Yes, new stronger motor and we turned it up to 25psi of boost on Ignite Red. First engine made 824whp. Just got a new intake manifold made because my plastic one started leaking. It will be turned up again shortly to 30psi of boost or the next bottle neck raises it's head. More than likely I will run out of turbo before fuel.
right, we built it and had Vince at RT tune it, both times.
wow very nice
good morning, How much does it cost to modify a basic Nissan?
