I own an Asphalt Company in Las Vegas, Nevada, and New Mexico. I showed this to my sales team and it actually did wonders and we are up in sales. It’s the small things that can save a company. If you want to contact me and do some more over the phone sales for commission, reply to this!
Hi Chaps. Today I made a list of 40 Companies to contact. I made a database for myself also, to make it easier to recall who I had contacted and how for things went. I ma a little phone shy so I emailed some as I was going along. I found that a lot of the companies were actually owned by a much larger company and I could have saved time in the beginning by just contacting the main one. Anyways, I got an email back from one that said, that they do not accept unsolicited emails from product developers, I was a little sad, but the email went on to say you can make official submissions to us on this link. So Keep going people, I havent found out the next step yet but its all good. Thanks.,
I'm 19 I started a manufacturing Plastic company. I am solo for now haha. I think I am crazy . My friends are out here partying . While I am doing weird business stuff.
Would like to know how it's going?. I've had an idea to manufacture a certain type of plastic for a while but don't know how to get started. Would really like to get some feedback and share ideas. From South Africa by the way
You look like you had a difficult time just getting the phone number , which proves it is a difficult problem for everyone. Thanks for your persistence. If you think about it there is a fundamental lack of communication from the companies. There really needs to be a Chambers of Commerce contact approach so that companies are easier to contact for the benefit of all concerned and the wider populace who need products and the jobs generated by those new products.I passed your details to my fellow inventors in Glasgow. Thanks again.
That's a good idea Ray. Maybe i'll do that next time. I'd have to look up recording laws in different states as it's illegal to record a conversation in many states without their permission. But i think you are right. That would be even more encouraging if you heard me do a call.
I had a new dolly idea and called around 35 companies most were very nice I made up a work sheet for each company with name of receptionist [gate keeper ] there response to my opening? The persons name Whom they referred me too and tried to ask for and right before the transfer I would ask if I could get their email as well mostly I got an answering machine where I would simply ask if I could send them a sell sheet with my info for a response then in a few days I would email them a follow up
Eddie..... You are doing great. Thank you for sharing your experience. Being successful with your products is more about the efforts you are making right now to reach out to companies than anything else. You only need one to say yes!
I submitted photos of my prototypes and they told me that their production manager was on maternity leave and will be back in Jan 2023 I sent the photos on July 2022 They finally replied to me saying that the ideas and concept does not fit them AT THIS TIME.

Hello, I have a product, prototype, and ppa. I've contacted 2 companies/manufacturers (there aren't many companies in this niche market), both of them have shown interest and my product is under review. One company has given feedback on manufacturing difficulties, we are awaiting approval from other licensors(nfl, ncaa) who are involved with the product. What is the best way to follow up?
Sounds like you have some interest. We can help. - Andrew Krauss, inventRight Co-Founder ( Call, email, book an appointment or request more info about how we can help by visiting us here. inventright.com/contact/ )
I don't get your question. - Andrew Krauss, inventRight Co-Founder ( Call, email, book an appointment or request more info about how we can help by visiting us here. inventright.com/contact/ )
I contacted a company about sharing my idea with them and they emailed me back and they're asking me to sign an affidavit with pictures and specs of my invention. Is there anything I should be worried about signing their affidavits?
i am a wholesaler & i call brands and ask them for distributors because i want to sell their products. what should i say to them on the phone to sound professional?
Question buddy... I forgot to leave my phone number on my certification of Micro Entity Status form. I did sign and date. Is this or will this cause an issue? My telephone number is listed a few times on the SB16 Cover Sheet which i also submitted.
We would show you how to get companies phone numbers of course. We wouldn't give you the, we'd teach you the skill and guide you. You wouldn't learn anything if we just did the research and gave you a list. We didn't go in depth in this video as to how to make your list of companies, but i did get a phone number for one of the companies. Please re-watch the video.
Great advice!! What should we be asking for in return? What percentage points should we be asking for? They're making the product, paying for all the manufacturing, marketing and so forth, so obviously we shouldn't ask for 90%, or anywhere near that? What's a good amount to ask for? 3%? 5%? 7%? ... 10% 3% of a million dollars is better than 100% of nothing. ..
I'm simply using quicktime that comes with my mac. Then i just use some setting tricks to overlay my video. It's super easy if you are on a mac and you don't even need to buy any software.
Andrew...great show. I want to license my idea to 3m. I built my prototype from products that 3m manufactures. Seems like the logical thing to do😁 or is it better to seek out smaller companies?
Soo let me get this straight...this video isn't about getting the number it's about calling companies? How we gona do that when you can't even get the number. This was an epic fail
Why even bother to have an audio monitor on your screen if you are going to ignore it when it clearly shows your audio if too low? Did you watch the video back and then post it anyway? 72 people like it, only 2 people didn't. Is that because most people just left. If it's any good, delete this, edit you audio levels and repost. This is a sure way to NOT get new subscribers.
So whole video is about looking for phone numbers. The content is on 7:45.

helpful video. Is it possible for me to apply for a patent in the US without visiting the country?
If it wasn't scary to call them, you would call several companies right in this video (LOL) !!!!

The hard part is getting to talk to a human being, instead of being forwarded to voicemail. Email and voicemail are the same deadend.

Can a company be too big, example a company with 20 subsidiaries who might have the market cornered?
Yes. Some companies that are very large and have the market cornered don't see a need to innovate. That's a bad long term strategy!
How would you feel about me sending you my my sell sheet and the NDA I have?
If you're looking for help licensing your invention, reach us here: www.inventright.com/contact
Both their socials were at the bottom. They usually have a phone number and/or email public on Facebook.
That's was super helpful, I did what you said and all I got was email addresses could you share ideas on next steps in the best possible way.

On my sell sheet should I say I have a Provisional Patent? Thanks
Yes, but you don't have to write "Provisional Patent". You can legally say "Patent Pending" when you have a Provisional Patent.

when asking for marketing dpt what if they say you need to give a name? Would linkedin be the only way?
LinkedIn is a great resource for getting the exact names of people to ask for. More here: www.entrepreneur.com/article/283810
Yes, you could look up names on linkedIN and call back and ask for a marketing managers name you found on linkedIN. Yes, that's a great approach.
