(That's the best I could do without giving away any spoilers lol sorry if it's not very good)
My favorite details: The sounds at the start, it sounds like Emmet is breathing Ingo’s side of the room is very neat and untouched The flowers on Ingo’s bed The triangles on both Ingo and Emmet’s beds and towels The two sinks, one clearly unused in a while Emmet’s new outfit (all white, no blue tie or arm band) and black gloves (meaning mourning, perhaps? :’

I just realized that associating Emmet with down arrow and Ingo with up arrow actually fits given their usual expression: cheerful Emmet's down arrow represents his smile, while serious Ingo's up arrow represents his frown.
Volo is an essential character for Emmet's twisted turn. Ingo's name in Japanese is Nobori while Emmet is Kudari. Nobori means "to climb" or "uphill" while Kudari is "descend" or "downwards". While Nobori/Ingo is having an uphill battle with time and memories, Emmet on the other hand.... is spiraling downwards... I'd like to think that It isn't Ingo who will get rescued but rather Emmet is the one going to be rescued by Ingo when he goes back in time... Because the time Ingo is sent back into the present, it will be the opposite where Emmet is gone and had become twisted, his hatred for Arceus has engulfed him which drove him to traverse in many worlds via wormholes looking for Ingo, crushing those who stands in his way.
Also feels like a good way to have two protagonists of different regions meet. Something like either one of the 4 protagonists (betting my money on Nate and Rosa though) will try to chase Emmet to stop him whilst Rei or Akari travels with Ingo to help him.
As someone who has played Pokemon Scarlet, the phrase downward spiral in particular worries me, if because, as an odd point of similarity, there is a LITERAL downward spiral in that game, and what awaits at the very bottom is not pretty.... but at the same time, something Emmet might horrifyingly be interested in.

And if that's not bad enough, it's mentioned by the creator of the time machine that a human can go into either the past or the future, but CANNOT RETURN to the present. (Oh, and as for the "not pretty" part, said inventor was indirectly killed by the same time machine they made when it displaced a savage Pokemon out of time)
Honestly, as someone who does not know the full-lore for Pokemon: Arceus Legends, this feels like a legitimate trailer. Like, if you told me this was made by Gamefreak themselves, I’d believe you. The sound design is amazing, especially at the start where everything feels so desolate and alone… And then the piano and violin music kicks in and just… Sends you to another world. I personally really like the composition for the time-travel shots and Ingo’s disappearance. I love how peaceful everything feels, but you can still feel that small creeping of grief and dread from Emmet. I also like how it introduces each character, again, I don’t know the full lore of Arceus Legends, but just from the video alone I can figure out what Emmet’s relationship with each character is. Video is great at a fan-project, but also great as a way to get a stranger interested! Or even a real game trailer!.
Volo angered dialga and palkia as an attempt to bother them so much arceus would come down so he could catch it. But as soon as the rift appeared, either arceus sent ingo as a failed attempt or ingo was distorted by time and space to travel to the past. So it's volos fault ingo was separated from Emmet :(
HOLY SHIT??? THIS FEELS LIKE AN ACTUAL MOVIE TRAILER MY GOD- This is honestly so fucking fantastic and makes me so happy as both a film student and submas fan. The pacing, the visual storytelling, the tonal shifts, the art and animation itself- All absoloutley FANTASTIC! The soft, lineless style is gorgeus, and feels so cheerie when compared to the actual events depicted, really adding to the sad and almost nostaligic tone. Not to mention the bit with Ingo from Emmet's perspective? Showing how much he loves and misses his brother? Exquisite. ALSO ALL THE DIFFERENT FRAMINGS AND THE MATCH SHOTS- I am going apeshit. Were it not 5am I would be screaming right now. Absolutely stunning job.

Recently found out that each game supposedly takes place within three-four years of the past one.. I swear to God, if they add missing posters for Ingo in Violet and Scarlet, I'm gonna cry

God this is gorgeous! I hope Ingo and Emmet are reunited eventually, like for instance it would be interesting if Emmet showed up in Scarlet and Violet looking for clues on Ingo's whereabouts, perhaps having found a clue previously that revealed he'd gone back in time and going to the new region because he heard about time travel things in regards to that region. Then through the story of the game you help him and he eventually gets reunited with Ingo. It could also be interesting if they did this in the anime. Like when the anime comes to that region and Ash bumps into Emmet and finds out about what happened to Ingo and either there's an arc where he helps him or Emmet goes on with his search and occasionally runs into Ash and catches him up on his findings. Just the thoughts that popped into my head after watching this beautiful animation

OH THIS IS BEAUTIFUL. The sound design of this is phenomenal. The birds chirping and the train created such an atmosphere!! I love how you show how grief destroyed Emmet!! The style of the lineless art is so well done and all your expressions are VISCERAL. The image of the flowers in Ingo’s bed is subtle but so sad. I love that moment when we see Emmet staring at the ground as the world moves on without him. The constant movement in this animation is really what sells it for me. This feels like an animation id see win an award. The lighting is so stark and bright during the flashbacks and so dark when in the present and I love it!! The flashbacks with Ingo are just SO good. I’ve been watching this on repeat and it’s just. oh my god. SO good. I love how we see the triangles in Ingo’s eyes but we don’t see them in Emmets until the every end when that spark comes back and leaves for the final time. This animation is amazing!!
okay I watched this a couple more times and omg I just caught onto the plot. It’s five years after Ingo went missing and he’s still missing his brother and trying to find him and he gets into contact with Volo! I really love how the details were hidden in the quick cuts and just how many tiny details there are. Amazing job!!
Im so afraid that ingo's story ark will never be complete. like the best hope we have is if in the black and white remakes they add extra story. but with gamefreak outsourcing the devlopment of remakes it doesnt look good.

Golly, this is the best submas animation I’ve seen yet! The animation and music goes so well together, whenever i think about watching this video again, I’d be afraid that I’d cry once more, since the thought of it saddens my mood. Despite so, i believe that is what makes it so outstanding, I hope Ingo and Emmet will be reunited should the time ever come :)

I don’t know a lot of the Pokémon lore, but I have played through most of Legends Arceus. I thought it was cool Ingo was in the game as someone who fell from the same world as you did, but I never considered how everyone else would tolerate his disappearance, let alone Emmet. This trailer looks amazing for a fanmade work!

I like to keep track of animations that mean a lot to me, ironically enough this animation actually went missing for me around a year ago. I just one day couldn’t find it- scrolled endlessly through my playlists and searched every key word I could think, I was genuinely convinced not only the video was deleted but maybe the entire channel. Was pretty saddened by that- so needless to say I’m very happy this animation found me again :]
It’s so crazy how gamefreak actually and Ingo get teleported back in time! I could see maybe a character that doesn’t have a sibling but ingo?! They had such a strong bond so I was very surprised to see him

Okay hear me out. What if Emmet was sent to the Future? Think about it. Gen 9 is about past and future and Gen 5 Remakes will follow SV. What if they were both sent by Arceus on different missions? What if in the Gen V remakes, there won't be an Ingo or Emmet.
This is… an absolute masterpiece! It really does depict the separation of a duo who function better together. With Ingo’s disappearance into Hisui, Emmet’s world begins to collapse. His brother is gone, nobody knows where to, and only Elesa is willing to help Emmet keep searching. For the time being, all we can do is hope that they’ll be reunited, but while Ingo is stuck in the past, we don’t know what the future will hold. Also, that date at the end, what is it’s significance? I MUST KNOW!

oh my goodness, this is so incredibly beautiful. the colours and lineless style work so well together and give it such a soft yet sad, almost melancholy feel to it. and the way you told a story through the short scenes is so incredibly good. it honestly feels like one of those pixar shorts, like kitbull (not sure if thats the name but its the one with the kitten and the bulldog). this is probably now my favourite submas animation ever. its just so incredibly well made and everything in it from the music to the style just fit so well together and all come together to make something incredible. bravo, well done. edit: i forgot to mention how damn good the sound design at the beginning was and how much i love the outfit you gave Emmet here. absolutely amazing.
man.... i hope we get to see them reunite in the remakes. Or atleast give us a postgame centered around emmet and how hes changed since ingos dissappearance. Like i dunno, make him legitimately the strongest trainer in the game because he lost himself to constant mindless battling to distract himself.
man when i saw this in my recommended i out loud said "OH SHIT?" i love how the vibe is slow, mostly showing everyday things yet you can still see how time is moving with the progression of emmet's state + volo becoming more and more involved until you literally see him. i also love in the beginning the good ol' "train passed and person behind it disappears" visual. it's usually intentional, someone being cryptic as they disappear, but in this it's so much more mysterious with the papers being dropped, floating to the ground with nothing left to carry them. incredible job! bravo!!

I hope Ingo and Emmet are reunited eventually, like for instance it would be interesting if Emmet showed up in Scarlet and Violet looking for clues on Ingo's whereabouts, perhaps having found a clue previously that revealed he'd gone back in time and going to the new region because he heard about time travel things in regards to that region. Then through the story of the game you help him and he eventually gets reunited with Ingo.
It could also be interesting if they did this in the anime. Like when the anime comes to that region and Ash bumps into Emmet and finds out about what happened to Ingo and either there's an arc where he helps him or Emmet goes on with his search and occasionally runs into Ash and catches him up on his findings.
Just the thoughts that popped into my head after watching this beautiful animation

OH THIS IS BEAUTIFUL. The sound design of this is phenomenal. The birds chirping and the train created such an atmosphere!! I love how you show how grief destroyed Emmet!! The style of the lineless art is so well done and all your expressions are VISCERAL. The image of the flowers in Ingo’s bed is subtle but so sad. I love that moment when we see Emmet staring at the ground as the world moves on without him. The constant movement in this animation is really what sells it for me. This feels like an animation id see win an award. The lighting is so stark and bright during the flashbacks and so dark when in the present and I love it!! The flashbacks with Ingo are just SO good. I’ve been watching this on repeat and it’s just. oh my god. SO good. I love how we see the triangles in Ingo’s eyes but we don’t see them in Emmets until the every end when that spark comes back and leaves for the final time. This animation is amazing!!
okay I watched this a couple more times and omg I just caught onto the plot. It’s five years after Ingo went missing and he’s still missing his brother and trying to find him and he gets into contact with Volo! I really love how the details were hidden in the quick cuts and just how many tiny details there are. Amazing job!!

I don’t know a lot of the Pokémon lore, but I have played through most of Legends Arceus. I thought it was cool Ingo was in the game as someone who fell from the same world as you did, but I never considered how everyone else would tolerate his disappearance, let alone Emmet. This trailer looks amazing for a fanmade work!

I like to keep track of animations that mean a lot to me, ironically enough this animation actually went missing for me around a year ago. I just one day couldn’t find it- scrolled endlessly through my playlists and searched every key word I could think, I was genuinely convinced not only the video was deleted but maybe the entire channel. Was pretty saddened by that- so needless to say I’m very happy this animation found me again :]
It’s so crazy how gamefreak actually and Ingo get teleported back in time! I could see maybe a character that doesn’t have a sibling but ingo?! They had such a strong bond so I was very surprised to see him

This is… an absolute masterpiece! It really does depict the separation of a duo who function better together. With Ingo’s disappearance into Hisui, Emmet’s world begins to collapse. His brother is gone, nobody knows where to, and only Elesa is willing to help Emmet keep searching. For the time being, all we can do is hope that they’ll be reunited, but while Ingo is stuck in the past, we don’t know what the future will hold.
Also, that date at the end, what is it’s significance? I MUST KNOW!

the colours and lineless style work so well together and give it such a soft yet sad, almost melancholy feel to it. and the way you told a story through the short scenes is so incredibly good. it honestly feels like one of those pixar shorts, like kitbull (not sure if thats the name but its the one with the kitten and the bulldog).
this is probably now my favourite submas animation ever. its just so incredibly well made and everything in it from the music to the style just fit so well together and all come together to make something incredible. bravo, well done.
edit: i forgot to mention how damn good the sound design at the beginning was and how much i love the outfit you gave Emmet here. absolutely amazing.

man when i saw this in my recommended i out loud said "OH SHIT?" i love how the vibe is slow, mostly showing everyday things yet you can still see how time is moving with the progression of emmet's state + volo becoming more and more involved until you literally see him. i also love in the beginning the good ol' "train passed and person behind it disappears" visual. it's usually intentional, someone being cryptic as they disappear, but in this it's so much more mysterious with the papers being dropped, floating to the ground with nothing left to carry them. incredible job! bravo!!
