While they probably would help I'd argue using his path of solitude mons is a stretch because because there's so many of them and I consider the path of solitudes to be separate to ingo's main battles despite him still being the one to conduct them. It also feels like cheating to use the path of solitude mons because if counting them then ingo can use a good chunk of hisui's pokemon, and at that point what makes it different from a regular playthrough?
Idea: If Hisui Ingo developed train technology in Hisui, where it then spread to Unova where Unova Ingo learns about it, would that make the concept of trains an ontological paradox?
I believe that trains would have already existed at the time PLA happens (Trains were invented in 1804, and general consensus is that PLA would take place some time around 1870~ during the Meiji Restoration. Seems like a short time period between PLA and the modern games ik, but Japan modernized super quick. First railways began cropping up in America close to 1830, still some years before PLA and long before Ingo woulda arrived. Though coincidentally, it was during the Meiji era that trains started to pop up in parts of Japan (specifically, first railway over there was established in 1872). So Ingo's arrival closely coincides with that. Neat.

I'm pretty sure Ingo got spit out in the snow because the person filming the found footage trailer is almost definitely Ingo. If he doesn't have the same voice as Pokemon Masters EX Ingo I'll eat my hat. So, yeah, I think Arceus dumped him in the Icelands and the silly train man immediately ran off and got smacked by Zoroark. Better try again Arceus.
The voice doesn’t match and the recorder says he’s recording using a “strange device.” Good theory, but either Ingo lost his memory (and voice) before recording or that was a Ginko Guild member finding a video camera.

I didn't see anyone else mention this, but, the game actually implies that the player character was Arceus' response to *Giratina* yanking Ingo through the Rift. That's part of why he lost his memory - Ingo had a much rougher trip than we the player did, and probably didn't land anywhere near Jubilife at all. There's some speculation that he's the person whose perspective is shown in the pre-release trailers where, for example, Zorua and Zoroark are shown attacking somebody, but that's never concretely said. Even so, great video!
Have never seen anyone saying this. Ingo has been there a lot earlier than Volo was ever doing his thing. He's been there at least ten years, while the rift hasn't been open NEARLY that long.
I usually train against alphas in the mirelands for the exp candies and the base exp. Tou have to re-enter the map a couple of times but you get a lot of large exp candies
I bet Ingo got his memory wiped too hard, and lacking a Arceusphone he couldn't pull off what Arceus wanted. So instead of helping him out Arceus just kidnapped a kid instead.
You know, you don't ACTUALLY need a single ride Pokémon to reach the top of Coronet Highland. I've done it before, it's pretty easy. And you can still evolve Magnezone and Probopass with a Thunderstone in this game. As for battling Volo, why not try using the Alpha Pokémon that Ingo has at the battleground? And trying new moves (and to level up more). You also waited until the end to use grit on your team?! No wonder you struggled... You should try with Zisu next! She's an underrated character.

However, mysteriously just like Pasio, He has now become himself a passenger on the road to improvement! And on the road beside working out is making alot of mistakes Arceus made mistakes which made Ingo made mistakes. But eventually they both plan and change there battle plan. I guess you can say that that Ingo going back though time made switch Pokémon or I guess you can say… Time to switch tracks!" This defeat quote is pretty fitting: "I underestimated you." Meli, Beni and Volo were forces you didn’t underestimate… But sadly goes in one direction only Also I wonder with that the reason why he got his coat rip up was from battling Pokémon the old fashion way. Not really on style but works *Lillie switch from Irida to Elesa outfit* But you magmemite got it.
I like the CTRL S in the thumbnail, nice touch. It's a shame Ingo couldn't fight off Giratina, but between this and the Kamado run, it makes more and more sense why the player was sent back to save Hisui. No one character could stop Volo and Giratina, even with full teams.
Battling alphas around the place is always the best way to grind. Because you get XP from them plus XP candies most the time. Also volo had another team he used for path of solitude
Magnazone does spawn in the Coronet Highlands, but I think only after you quell Electrode. I didn't try finding one until I as in postgame, so that's why I'm not sure if it's available before Electrode's noble fight. It's a flyer, so you need a good aim with the win ball variants. It can be found around the peaks near Fabled Spring, Clamberclaw Cliffs, and Celestic Trail.

I believe its implied that ingo was brought to hisui through an ultra worm hole, its very similar to another character abageil (I can't write or rember if this the right name for the character) in sun and moon where she also has amnesia from coming out of an ultra worm hole. I can also be wrong here but I believe that she did travel through both time and space but I can wrong there as idk that but it would be explain how ingo got to the past through. But I can be wrong completely but that is what is implied that he came out of ultra worm hole instead of arceus sending him instead

Wouldn't Basculegion, Wyrdeer and Kleavor be really helpful against Volo? As per other Trainers I think you can either try Beni (Mismagius, Sneasler, Gallade, Garderovoir, Roserade, Magnezone) or Zisu (You can choose from Ambipom, Honchkrow, Luxray, H-Zoroark, Infernape, Rapidash, Steelix, Lopunny and Driftblim).

I would argue that he probably would not have been because he is already the Pearl clan warden for Sneasler, and I can't imagine the clan being okay with someone being a warden for two Nobles.
Besides catching to level up.. Try beautifly catching instread of zubat “scyther” for an early game. Sell your stuff to get money form the exp candyman Battling Indigo Challenge Alpha But if you are adventurous… Their is an Alpha Blissey in Obsidian Wildlands. It gives a ton of XP and drops large XP candies and grit items. Since it seem you love you Wydeer jump and battling.
0:30 Both Ingo and the Player Character came out of the Rift above Mount Coronet, It was where they landed that was different. Also, Anyone else realize how ridiculous the survival of the Player is at the start of the game is when you consider the distance between Prelude Beach and Mount Coronet?
There is a level 62 Alpha Blissey in the Obsidian Fieldlands above Oreburrow Tunnel that you can reach as soon as you unlock Weirdeer. Hopefully it can help you with your future level grinding!

Can you do Adaman for the next run, also to grind, I go to the CM and rematch Liligant over and over and over again to get a bunch of medium exp candys.
i play a lot of limited teams and monotype challenges and ive always said you can use any team to win as long as you have a good enough strategy. I'll see if i can beat volo with this team and report back on the results.
One thing to remember for these character runs is that there's also limits on the abilities and moves you can use, kidna makes it extra hard since most of the time there's much better moveset you could use
Contact those passes actually compass his nose isn’t actually knows it all. It’s a Compass point that when you go by the Pokédex says that it always points north

Sylveon is not the day counterpart of Umbreon. Espeon is the day counterpart. Sylveon is adjacent to them, it's the evolution for Eevee that know a Fairy-type move.

Maybe I'm weird but 3D Ingo is totally super cute? I think it's his funny eyes. I like Giacomo and his sneaky beady eyes too. If you're into emulating or your Switch is modded, you can unlock all the clothing options using a program called PKHex to edit your save file, so you can have the Diamond and Pearl Clan outfits as soon as the game starts. I simply had to do it once I saw the Baneful Fox Mask existed lol, though I ended the game cosplaying as a modern Team Galactic grunt.
Once you have braviary(you might can use wyrdeer to get up there??), There's a spot in the fieldlands near the kleavor battle. You'll basically hug the right most wall of the map and ideally fly over everything. You'll run into an alpha blissey, I think near the cave entrance? Anyways, killing the blissey isn't too hard and it's an absolute truck worth of exp. I used infernape with mach punches and the blissey couldn't even attack period; I gained like 10 levels in around 10-15 minutes

There is an alpha Blissey in the Obsidian Fieldlands who provides a healthy chunk of EXP upon defeat, and an alpha Chansey in the Cobalt Coastlands.
I think it would be funny/cool if Cyllene had showed up with the player to fight Volo with Arceus by her side and with her Abra too.
To stand up against Volo, I think either Volo (or Cynthia?) would have the best chance.

Zisu uses 9 (her initil 4 + Flint's DP team)

Their is an Alpha Blissey in Obsidian Wildlands. It gives a ton of XP and drops large XP candies and grit items. Since it seem you love you Wydeer jump and battling.

i play a lot of limited teams and monotype challenges and ive always said you can use any team to win as long as you have a good enough strategy. I'll see if i can beat volo with this team and report back on the results.
One thing to remember for these character runs is that there's also limits on the abilities and moves you can use, kidna makes it extra hard since most of the time there's much better moveset you could use

Also as for what the choices for the Eeveelutions you fought (timestamp 19:06) I gotta agree with your confusion... maybe they should’ve changed that Jolteon out with an Umbreon instead. Umbreon would’ve been a much better opposite to Sylveon since they are to two eeveutions that evolve by friendship, with Sylveon evolving during the day and Umbreon at night. 😀
Sylveon is not the day counterpart of Umbreon. Espeon is the day counterpart.
Sylveon is adjacent to them, it's the evolution for Eevee that know a Fairy-type move.
@@TheRedSmarty yea I kinda forgot about Espeon... but Umbreon still would’ve been a good opposite to Sylveon simply because of the fairy and dark typings! It’s like the Pure and the Impure, the Yin and the Yang, the... well I think you get what I mean. In other words, I still stand by my statement the Umbreon would’ve been Sylveon’s better opposite rather the Jolteon. Espeon ain’t gonna change my mind about that lol

If you're into emulating or your Switch is modded, you can unlock all the clothing options using a program called PKHex to edit your save file, so you can have the Diamond and Pearl Clan outfits as soon as the game starts. I simply had to do it once I saw the Baneful Fox Mask existed lol, though I ended the game cosplaying as a modern Team Galactic grunt.
Once you have braviary(you might can use wyrdeer to get up there??), There's a spot in the fieldlands near the kleavor battle. You'll basically hug the right most wall of the map and ideally fly over everything. You'll run into an alpha blissey, I think near the cave entrance? Anyways, killing the blissey isn't too hard and it's an absolute truck worth of exp. I used infernape with mach punches and the blissey couldn't even attack period; I gained like 10 levels in around 10-15 minutes
