Second season and bro already has a rise and fall video made of him 💀
💯 Bryce just got stuck in a bad situation, and it also appears the locker room was never behind him to begin with
Maybe David Tepper’s wife should not help make QB decisions next time
maybe david tepper in general shouldnt make any decisions
It's still hilarious that 1 of 2 Panthers wins in 2023 were against the Texans and CJ Stroud, with Bryce Young outperforming him
the sad fall of bryce young - he got drafted by the panthers
It doesnt help that his girl left him for Tyrese Maxey either. Got his confidence low.
Wait what? Really?
Its true. Google it lol @royalace2271
Maxey?! Oh hell nah
Had to search this up this legit smh🤯
If you’re number one overall pick isn’t taller than Roger Goodell on that stage, you made a bad pick
Kyler Murray?
@@MulyseHorrible pick if your team is trying to be perennial Super Bowl contender.
@@bouji_ The Cardinals are so far out of Super Bowl contender status that it literally does not matter who their QB is. You think Jonathan Gannon, whose defensive miscues cost a stacked Eagles team a Super Bowl, is ever winning a ring as head coach? You think even prime Brady could carry a team to even the divisional round when they went 1-8 without Murray?
No, you're definitely right. He should be more like Trevor Lawrence, who also carried his back-to-back last-place roster to... oh. Or maybe Herbert carrying the garbage Chargers--no? Hm. Wait, Baker carried the Browns to a playoff win! ... Y'know, after they actually assembled some talent.
Huh. It's almost like there's a lot more to football than just the QB.
@@bouji_ i mean they just blew out the rams and the rams won a superbowl only 3 years ago
@@reddwyd Half the Rams offense is on IR.
Another Bama QB bust.
Jalen and Tua aren't bust
@@IllMatic97 Tua? He hasn't done much with the Dolphins. Jalen has been figured out.
Majority of college QBs drafted are busts
@@thundergato84 Jalen and Tua are not bust. Plain and simple, if you don't know what a bust is just say that.
@@thundergato84 Leading the league in passing?
Him not having good coaching isn’t a good excuse his rookie year people were saying they put together an all star group of coaches under frank reich who was always considered a qb guru and coach having help develop Philip rivers and Carson wentz and some other QBs
Anybody who looked at Frank Reich's last two years in Indianapolis and thought he was moving Carolina forward at all has no idea what they're talking about.
@@thatonewriter8043 on if u judge him off of his whole career he has a good to great track record and those Indy teams were good specially when u considered him and a old ass Philip rivers made it to the playoffs the issue was it took them too long to just draft a qb but I mean it was all national media like ESPN and fox sports commentators saying that and that they were gonna win the nfc south becuase how good the roster was too
If Young had an ounce of ability at the NFL level it'd have shined through somewhere. History has gotten re written now, but after that years draft it was CJ Stroud everyone was saying was going to the worst situation, 3-13 roster, worst ranked WR corp (yep 32nd before the season started), O line ranked in the low 20s, unknown OC and a defensive head coach, CJ was doomed supposedly.
While Young was said to be going to a decent situation, 7-10 team that had a new all pro coaching staff with offensive head coach Frank Riech and QB coach Josh McCown and sure handed vet WR in Theilen.
I always suspected Young was highly overrated. He was just an ok “system QB” that could only do well on a stacked team that was geared around making him shine.
You need a lot more athletic ability to be a system QB in the NFL though and he doesn’t have the ability to make a mediocre team a contender like Stroud. Just my opinion 🤷🏻♂️
It's almost like hiring back-to-back one-off coaches and rolling with a third-round QB that was never really viewed as a QB1 made Houston look drastically worse than it was.
@thatonewriter8043
Or maybe ,Stroud is just special... 🤔
Everyone who follows OSU knew CJ was very different compared to the other qbs that started at osu. A lot of ppl actually expected Jack Miller or Kyle McCord (a high-profile 5 star at the time) to take the realm during the preseason, and not too many in columbus even knew who CJ was. And once he started, everyone knew his skillsets were vastly different from those of previous osu starters where their dual-threat (excluding Haskins) was key. His pocket presence was something else even from his first start against minnesota. A lot of people assumed his ball placement just looked good because of how talented the wr core was, but he proved time and time again that that wasnt the case.
You failed to mention what Andy Dalton did at Seattle in that game Bryce Young sat out for injury (361 Yards and 2 TDs) they scored 27 points!
Who didn’t see this coming!? He should have never been picked #1. Now look at what Andy Dolton did last Sunday! 319 yards 3 TD’s 0 INT and a win
There was no RISE once he got drafted. That was his career apex

Not throwing at the combine was a 🚩. He's always had horrible footwork, besides him playing in highschool.
He would have been so blatantly outclassed at the combine by pretty much everyone. His lack of arm strength and poor footwork would have been so obvious next to the other guys
Top prospects basically do the minimum at the combine. Why would they, if they're almost guaranteed top five? Not a whole lot of room to move up, but any kind of performance hiccup or muscle tweak could drop them entire rounds.
I feel like his confidence has been destroyed. I still think he can bounce back with good coaching. I hope he gets his confidence back man.
How is that sad? Bryce is not a NFL QB
@@samright4661 you don't get to decide who is and isn't a NFL QB, Joe. 32 teams in the NFL and only 5 teams have elite QB play.
@@IllMatic97 😢 More! Carolina decided Bryce sucks
@@IllMatic97 Someone is Butt hurt 😢
If you just watch the NFL you’d know Bryce wasn’t made for the league.
CJ was physically the prototype. Great arm talent, accuracy, his only knock was being an Ohio State QB.
Bryce is small, average arm talent, scrawny build. The NFL exposes guys that hit their ceilings. Mac Jones had a weak arm by nfl standards and he was exposed by the end of his rookie year.
Good video dude.
Only idiots thought that "midget" Bryce Young should have been the first pick in the NFL draft. The Carolina Panthers chose Bryce Young first in the NFL draft, but I repeat myself.
Who else seen this a mile away
It just goes to show that NFL front offices are really clueless about drafting. They keep on drafting Alabama QB’s because it’s the safe pick.
No support. You clearly made this before the Raiders game Andy Dalton a journeyman back up with that same group of people around him through for 300 yards and three touchdowns so yes Bryce Young was the problem. It’s not always on the organization.
I said the day Bryce was drafted that would be a bust. His height would work against him day one. He needed strength and to be fast like Kyler Murray, to overcome his height. I made multiple posts suggesting the Panthers sit him for two years and let the trainers build him up. The very same crowd making excuses for Bryce, were the same people against my idea. They said he has to play the game to learn. Those people believe the hype job about Bryce being NFL ready. He wasn't rdy then nor now. And what boggles my mind is how he got to the NFL being slow and weak arm, in the first place. That's all on Bryce. From school through college, did he think he didn't need to? It will take 3 to 4 years of him building himself up, to get him being a decent backup QB. By then, you'll have 3 to 4 years of QBs coming into the NFL. Making it in the NFL starts way back in school. He didn't do it.
He's been protected by superstars his entire "amatuer" career. He was always going to be too small for the NFL though. I'm a Panthers fan and was screaming at my tv on draft night.
This is part of the Alabama problem, these guys all looked great for Saban behind an NFL line and throwing the NFL receivers. Once you level the playing field…. 🗑️
Cj is the better QB, but MOST importantly Cj gets more hos than bryce , and that is what truly matters
We dont need his backstory bro just tell us why he sucks lol
He wasn't it's the bias of Alabama SEC to OSU Big 10..I always knew CJ was a great bet for the NFL..argued with a lot of people..
Young looked better than Stroud in college, but he was even more insulated by the situation than people thought. Stroud had one impressive game at the very end of college. Scouts got blinded by the results, not the helmets. Stop capping.
@@thatonewriter8043Stroud had better passer ratings than Young in both seasons they played.
Why put the blame so much on Bryce Young when you know that the organization sucks
Sam darnald came in and lit it up instantly. Seems like bryce young is just cheeks
Andy Dalton just lit the raiders up with the same team 😂
Because drafting a guy without the physical ability to play NFL QB and hoping he'll be the ultimate outlier was an exercise in stupidity
It's not over yet. Maybe you should go see about the Davey O'Brien Memorial Trophy.
Andy Dalton is on the Panthers for a Reason.
Davey O'Brien is too important to football for people to forget who he is whit these narrative.
Bama Riverboat and the chair.
Na he ass
Everyone knows you don't pick an Alabama quarterback😢
@@AR1point0 the college these QBs go to is not relevant dude. Players are scouted off ability and potential, Anthony Richardson was barely a starter at Florida but was drafted right after CJ.
His career isn’t over with yet , you talk about him like he’s out of the league , oh and the cast of panthers around him is so fucking great, your fucking ridiculous
They sure as shit looked better without him.
Fall?? Still think he has a future in the league
He's trash 😂
Honestly, all the Panthers starters need to be benched
Hy😂
SMH
i m still confused as to how he went from being better than CJ to the worst in the nfl? when i look at his footwork when receivering the ball. it's perfect for finding wrs to throw to. he got one of the best pullbacks. i don't know. my head hurts just thinking about what he's doing. great vid right here. i don't believe they should have benched him just yet tho. let him play. i guess if andy fails also. he got one more shot to prove himself this season which i thinks going to happen. he has to focus more. i think he needs to study Jayden Daniels footage and go back to his highschool days just a little. he will be one of the best in the NFL too. the talent is there. the same thing with caleb. i think caleb is better than CJ too. he just needs to take what they are giving and stop being too hungry. bo be fine.
His game doesn’t translate to the NFL. He was good at off script plays. When the play breaks down he was one of the best at finding WRs downfield or running for a big gain. The problem is in the NFL even the Defensive Lineman are more athletic than Bryce. Strouds best attributes are Accuracy and Ball placement. Those two things easily translates to the NFL and that’s why he became so good so fast.
@@SomajDaGoat It also helps when your team is half NFL-ready talents and even the other SEC schools are basically coaches that have failed upward time and time again, leading a squad that maybe has five future draft picks. By count of draft picks, Alabama was literally twice as talented as two-thirds of the SEC over the last five years.
Bust Young
Who should I do a video on next?
Anthony Richardson, the scouts have been right so far.
Russell Wilson, career retrospective (college to NFL)
@@nathanielperryii296 The scouts didn't have a consensus. There were well-informed arguments, backed by film and other players' career arcs, both for and against Richardson, as there pretty much are for any QB (apart from *maybe* the "generational" prospects that you'll really only hear contrarians argue against).
What you mean is that internet commenters doubted he'd succeed, which... yeah, they do that for every prospect. At this point in his career, most people were still racing to label Josh Allen a bust. It's a great way to look smart, because only around 30% of first round QBs "hit", depending if you define that as making a second contract with the team (more like 20%), guys who became a starter anywhere (like Brees being so much better in New Orleans than he ever was in San Diego), or guys like Wentz who have a ring but just do not look good anymore. That means if you shout loud enough, you can claim you're right about literally every QB that isn't either setting records as a rookie or winning playoff games on his rookie contract. (And then some of those successes are later picks like Russell Wilson or Brock Purdy, who "nobody" expected to do so well, so actually, that's just a fluke thing and you're still not wrong.)
It's not brave, insightful, or any sort of credit to claim a developmental prospect probably isn't going to work out. It's just simple probability. You have to bring more than that.
Jackson Arnold
Ron Jeremy
guys Stop i hate how all of you berate Bryce like it's not his fault it's the owner fault plus it's not easy leading a Team plus y'all worse than Panthers fans who mocks 9/11 when The Team itself who shows respects to the 9/11 victims.
Put Bryce on the Texans and he’d be killing it. Just bad draft luck. Too bad you can’t choose your team. I don’t know why bad programs are entitled to top picks. In college if you aren’t good you aren’t good. Dig yourself out
He has the team to be at least competent. There are no excuses.
Actually the Panthers are terrible. Or maybe the SEC aint that good including that “GOAT” UGA defense that he threw for 400 against
He sucks
Nah he’d be terrible in Houston too
You are delusional. He flat out is physically incapable of making the throws Stroud makes for Houston
If CJ would have went to the Panthers you would be doing a video of CJ being a bust.....THE CAROLINA PANTHERS ARE TRASH they traded all there probowl players and expect a rookie to make magic?? Baker Mayfield looked like a bum in Carolina, look at Sam darnorld!!! They are looking good outside of Carolina
And yet Andy Dalton lit it up with the same personnel. 🤔
