  • I like to inspect my travel trailer every Spring to make sure it is ready for the camping season. In this video I will show how you can do a quick inspection yourself and save.

    I noticed you jacked up the axle while the hydraulic legs were down. Will cause additional stress to them and is it stated anywhere it is safe. Thinking ahead before I do mine.

      If you have access to jacking instructions for your unit, use that. For my trailer, I park on level ground and use the trailers leveling system to insure the trailer is safely supported. I then use a wood block between the jack and the axle tube to insure the jack does not damage the axle when lifting each wheel. Do one wheel at a time and jack near the spring area. If doing more than one, use jack stands that are rated for the load.

      I have a 2023 Reflection 226RK, I have similar maintenance and repairs as yours.
      I use the Curt Turning Point in my 6.75’ bed with all confidence after removing and lubricating the bearing. One man job if you have a tractor w front bucket and some wood blocks to drop and install. All the best!

      @@chuckfullmer2053 Mine is a 2022 226RK. I also need to adjust and lube the turning point. Fortunately I have a front loader so I will be able to simplify that project. Thanks for the tip.
