289 Small Block Ford Timing and Custom Spark Plug Wire Lengths. 1950 Willys Jeepster Hot Rod.

I purchased a 1966 289 Ford small block engine that was built for a Mustang. The seller changed his mind and sold it with only 1500 miles on a fresh, high end, rebuild. He had the timing set wrong and he used really long spark plug wires. I will set the #1 piston position for the timing and cut each spark plug wire to fit nice and tidy.

Thanks for a great video. It always amazes me what other people will do when it comes to working on there projects. Like beating the headers to make things fit, wrapping wires together to make them shorter, etc, etc……

It amazes me too. Like the guy spending big money on aluminum heads, roller rockers and fuel injection then leaving it all to look goofy. Thanks
