    Thanks Will - very clear demo of disc bulge and clear explanation of how to reduce likelihood of recurrence. I certainly don’t want to repeat the experience so will follow your advice in full!

    Now I finally understand where the sciatic nerve comes from. Thanks for your excellent videos. I've had sciatica twice, once in each butt. Neither time did it go down anywhere in the leg. Why is that?

    What are your thoughts on spinal decompression therapy on the digital machines for sciatica healing?

    Thanks a lot Will! Great video, as usual! You explain the sciatica/bulged disc related issues in such a crystal clear way! I had to deal with a L4 L5 bulged disc over the past eight months (and still have, but I have mostly recovered), I saw two differents physios, watched countless videos about bulged discs on the internet, but I have to admit: your videos and articles (about anti-inflamatory food notably) are the ones who helped me the most to recover efficiently. So, a big thank you! One question please: Is an IRM necessary to diagnose a piriformis syndrome?

    • @HT-Physio
      @HT-Physio  Год назад +1

      My pleasure! MRI is usually not required to diagnose PS but may be indicated if there is any doubt in what is causing the symptoms to rule out other causes. Hope that helps!

    Any idea about extension Intolerant back pain? There are very little videos about it earlier it was just extended position that gave me Sciatica now even neutral position starts giving me Sciatica symptoms,,,need help on this ,,,i have good reflexes in legs and negative SLR test so most physios ignore me saying there is nothing compressed in spine ,,i got odd shooting pain in calves ,big toes and fingers in foot occasionally ,,,

      Sorry to hear that. It would be worth getting checked out for some individual advice for this kind of problem. Hope that helps!

    I’m a ballet dancer, and am experiencing sciatica for the first time. 4 weeks of medication including steroids. So scary with the numbness and tingling down leg into foot on left side,and pain on outside of knee. Both knees swell slightly after exercising. The X-ray showed slipped disc at L5S1. I have continued to go to ballet class with modification( no jumping or bending forward, stretching on barre) It’s been a nightmare, please tell me it will go away.
